Asia spontaneously combusts

Six are dead in a massive explosion in Turkey. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the rush hour blast a "treacherous and brutal terrorist attack."

Meanwhile, in Lebanon, the low-grade civil war between Islamist terrorists and the Lebanese Army continues in and around one of the major refugee camps. According to the AP, unrest in other camps is an "ominous sign that the trouble could spread across Lebanon."

In Pakistan, state security forces continue to battle terrorists in North Waziristan.

In India's Kashmir province, five Islamic militants and an Indian soldier were killed in a series of gunbattles. The attacks come in the midst of a counter-insurgency campaign to suppress terrorist attacks.

You know, if only the beleaguered Palestinians could take possession of Israel... and NATO would leave Afghanistan... and the U.S. and the U.K. would leave Iraq... and the U.N. would stop bugging Iran about its nuclear program, all of this bloodshed would end!

Update: Nuke Gingrich has been working the calculator and the results ain't promising.
