MARK LEVIN SHOW PODCAST PROBLEMS? Here's an easy way to download the Great One's podcasts
If you're a Mark Levin Show fan like me, you may have noticed that the show's website redesign appears to have completely broken podcast downloads. Not to fear -- here's my fix:
1. Choose date of podcast to download:
2. Click on the link to play or right click and save to download:
Went to download some ML podcasts for a long flight and was like "WTH!?!?" Can't understand why downloads were stopped. Thank you Doug for making this happen!
FINALLY! I don't know what the deal is with Mark's podcasts on the new site, but this site has been bookmarked. Thanks for caring to make Marks shows continually available.
Thanks. I have struggled ever since the newly designed website was released. I couldn't get quality reception (that doesn't repeatedly end and restart) from my cell phone. Your approach works best and I sincerely appreciate getting access to the best conservative leader in America today, Mark Levin!!
I don't want to DOWNLOAD anything,,,,,!!!!! I just want to listen to the podcasts, but I cant get them. I see where they are listed nicely,,,,but when I touch one of them, NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!!
Awww, yeah baby! Thank you, thank you, thank you. The new website design only allows me to PLAY the podcasts, not download them. I don't understand why mark hasn't fixed this problem yet. :/
i'm confused. WHAT are u telling us to do other than the usual? "Choose date of podcast" and "Click on the link to play or right click and save to download" is exactly what the site TELLS us to do and exactly what ISN'T WORKING!

anyway, it's easy to get off stitcher or itunes or the like, so i haven't missed any. but levin's own site the links are all dead. at least AFAICT -- anyone here know WHY?
well, i'd love to try it your way as well, but i honestly don't understand what you're instructing. a little clarification pls, especially as to what's in any way DIFF from the usual method?
basically the guys running the podcasting platform didn't like an alternative download page like this one, so they built in some stuff to make it more difficult for me to front-end the podcasts (don't ask me why, I have no clue).
In any event, until I get some time to write some code to work through their obfuscation layer, the previous day is about all I can support right now!

omg..I have not been able to sleep since this happened..I sleep to his pod casts every night..I have fallen in love with him..but that is my secret.

ReplyDeleteYep, they changed the download mechanism... I hacked a fix but will try to create a more permanent one shortly...

ReplyDeleteDoug, I clicked 11/5, then right clicked on podcast link to save it and the 11/18/14 podcast came up. Happens no matter which date you choose. ???

Each time I select a broadcast date, the recording is from 7-24-15.
