#Fab50: Announcing the 2013 Fabulous 50 Blog Award Winners

The moment you've been waiting for is here.

The votes are in. The anxious nominees' fingernails have been chewed down to the quick.

Winner - 2013 Fabulous 50 Blog Awards And at least one blogger just excused himself to go to the bathroom (number two, apparently, based upon the length of time he's been gone).

So we're more than pleased to announce the winners of the 2013 Fabulous 50 Blog Awards, the most prestigious new media awards in the conservative blogosphere.

Or, at the very least, in the 993 area code.

These awards recognize a variety of blogs and websites operating in the conservative hemisphere of the Internet, all of which have worked tirelessly to promote conservatism, free market capitalism, fiscal sanity, the sovereignty of the individual, and otherwise protect America from the cockroach-like Statists -- some in very unique ways.

So, without further ado, may I have the envelopes, please?

    Bravo man!
    Bravo!
    You eared it Doug.

I think what is essential is how your presence connects so much of the truth media together. That extends a legitimacy and credibility to everyone involved which is so very important.

  8. And to think that all this time I thought I was a conservative Constitutionalist living in the respect is earned, hard work is rewarded, believe in yourself world.
A world I now see is full of liquid bovine excrement.
I've been toiling away at my little "Corner" of the world for years now (well ok, once or twice a week...usually...ok sometimes weeks would go by without a post..BUT it was summertime...or winter.....or.......OH HELL) all to no avail.
I know of or have visited each and every one of these so called "best of" sites and I don't care what you say, mummy says mine is just as good as any of em, so THERE!
I find awards such as these divisive and contrary to building group cohesiveness and national self esteem.
I've worked HARD dammit and I DESERVE an award. (OK, maybe deserve is a bit too harsh, how about I feel entitled to an award? After all these ARE the Obama years are they not?)
You may send my trophy and the NSA malware to www.caldwellscorner.com.
    Thank you.
God Bless the United States of we're all equal as long as we try and we all get a fair shot and we work hard and we have faith in Dear Leader and........oh hell.
    G'day.

  9. Geoff, thanks for the link. I've been blogging for more than 10 years and I (as opposed to some bloggers) encourage on a daily basis folks to email me tips or good story ideas.

Take a look at the first line of every Larwyn's Linx to see the solicitation.

If I don't know about you, I can't read you.

That said, there's no guarantee I link or publish everything I receive due to volume. But I'm certainly open to seeing new stories anytime.

    Best, Doug

    Thank you everybody!!!

  11. I'm not entirely sure what a "captive columnist" is, but thank you, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Kevin, "Captive Columnist" means a columnist who appears exclusively in one venue (i.e., National Review)... equivalent to a "captive sales force" or "captive distribution".

  18. Doug, it's an honor. Thank you so much. And the last thing I want to do is ask a favor, but could you possibly change the link to billwhittle.com? Not only are all the Afterburners there, but all of the Virtual Presidency videos, Firewalls, and just about everything else.

Thanks again. Mom is telling all her friends.

    Hi Doug,

Excellent Site! Thanks for the Best List!

I thought you’d be interested in my webumentary, designed to educate the young and uninformed about Hillary Clinton.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for wider visibility for this video.

    Thanks a lot!

Hillary Clinton is counting on your short memory or lack of knowledge in her run for President.

  30. Great list, though I was hoping to see Conservative Treehouse on there, somewhere.

"Best Investigative Blog and Commenting Community" or something.

    Ah, maybe next year, Treepers!

  31. Also, Doug, thanks for the many links to the Treehouse over the last year or two, here and BadBlue.

Makes me feel like I'm doing something, at least.
