LAST STAND OF THE CUSTER DOJ/FBI: A final attempt to prevent Americans from seeing #ReleaseTheMemo

The FBI issued a statement earlier today stating -- wait for it -- they don't want the American people to view evidence of criminality by leaders in their agency and the DOJ.

Their story has changed from possibly compromising sources and methods -- which is patently absured given what we know about the modern surveillance state -- to the fact that "they haven't had enough time to review it".

...the FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it...

...we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy

Given how much we already know about the unlawful actions of the Obama DOJ and FBI, my suggestion is simple. Release the memo and let the leadership in the DOJ and FBI outline any "omissions of fact" that could absolve them of crimes. My guess is that they won't be able to do so.

Devin Nunes, the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, was understandably exercised.

Having stonewalled Congress’ demands for information for nearly a year, it’s no surprise to see the FBI and DOJ issue spurious objections to allowing the American people to see information related to surveillance abuses at these agencies. The FBI is intimately familiar with ‘material omissions’ with respect to their presentations to both Congress and the courts, and they are welcome to make public, to the greatest extent possible, all the information they have on these abuses. Regardless, it’s clear that top officials used unverified information in a court document to fuel a counter-intelligence investigation during an American political campaign. Once the truth gets out, we can begin taking steps to ensure our intelligence agencies and courts are never misused like this again.

Yes, he said it: top officials in the Obama DOJ and FBI used a bogus, DNC-funded "dossier" to spy on the Democrats' political opponents.

This is the greatest scandal in American history and we have the election of Donald Trump to thank for helping to expose it.

As Victor Davis Hanson explained yesterday, everyone was certain of Hillary Clinton's ascent to the presidency so they threw away their morals, their livelihood, and (hopefully) their freedom.

So, nothing that is in there is less than factual?
Got it. Thanks for the clarification.
