This deal was not America's because Obama refused to take the treaty deal through Congress. He used a pen and a phone, just like Trump.
Hilarious. Where was this concern when Obama abandoned agreements with Ukraine, Israel, Poland, and countless other allies? Where was this when Obama abandoned his own red line on Syria to not endanger the Iran deal? https://t.co/GdACwDxinz— (((AG))) (@AG_Conservative) May 8, 2018
It’s almost as if everything they say depends on the complete ignorance of their audience.— (((AG))) (@AG_Conservative) May 8, 2018
Obama abandoned agreements with key allies for the sake of this very deal. If he didn’t want a future POTUS to be able to rescind it, he should have submitted it to Congress as a treaty.
As an example, remember when Obama withdrew our planned missile defense system from Poland in order to appease Putin in 2009?— (((AG))) (@AG_Conservative) May 8, 2018
Poland, a key ally in the region. Was furious: https://t.co/dOhjrbe8Tg
Or how much did Obama set back nuclear anti-proliferation efforts when he abandoned Ukraine and the Trilateral agreement where we had committed to defend them from Russia in exchange for giving up their nukes? That action alone killed our ability to get anyone to give up nukes.— (((AG))) (@AG_Conservative) May 8, 2018
This isn't "whataboutism". The withdrawal from the Iran deal stands on its own merits and I'm glad to defend it on those, but it's insane and hypocritical for the senior architect of the Obama foreign policy to argue this point. The only deal they cared about was with Iran.— (((AG))) (@AG_Conservative) May 8, 2018
