Although NSA officials were not sure about what all documents Edward Snowden took with him, they’ve changed their tune a few times after some new leak proves their previous proclamations to be false…like when former NSA Chief Keith Alexander admitted to lying about phone surveillance stopping 54 terror plots. Despite a year of NSA officials claiming that Edward Snowden had access to reports about NSA surveillance, but no access to actual surveillance intercepts, that ends up being lie too.
Snowden gave the Washington Post a sampling of actual intercepted communications; after months of reviewing about 160,000 intercepted emails and instant messages and 7,900 documents taken from over 11,000 online accounts, the Post said nine out of 10 account holders in the large cache of intercepted communications were not even surveillance targets. In fact, the collateral damage is astounding. The Post reported:
Nearly half of the surveillance files, a strikingly high proportion, contained names, e-mail addresses or other details that the NSA marked as belonging to U.S. citizens or residents. NSA analysts masked, or “minimized,” more than 65,000 such references to protect Americans’ privacy, but The Post found nearly 900 additional e-mail addresses, unmasked in the files, that could be strongly linked to U.S. citizens or U.S. residents.
The intercepted communications were collected from 2009 to 2012, during President Obama’s first term; under the President, formerly a “constitutional law professor,” the Post noted that the NSA’s domestic collection program underwent a “period of exponential growth.” Interestingly, a research paper released last week explained how the government can exploit legal and technical loopholes in order to conduct warrantless surveillance on Americans...

LA Times: Drug Cartels and Obama Administration Actively Collaborating to Profit from Illegal Immigration
And the interests of Mexico's powerful drug cartels and the White House are aligned in this endeavor. For the former, the motivation is cash. And for the Obama administration, the reward is the promise of votes in the form of a veritable panoply of new Democrat voters, largely uneducated, dependent upon the state for subsistence, and completely unfamiliar with America's history, culture, and traditions.
Brian Bennett reports.
President Obama and his aides have repeatedly sought to dispel the rumors driving thousands of children and teens from Central America to cross the U.S. border each month with the expectation they will be given a permiso and allowed to stay.
But under the Obama administration, those reports have proved increasingly true.
The number of immigrants under 18 who were deported or turned away at ports of entry fell from 8,143 in 2008, the last year of the George W. Bush administration, to 1,669 last year, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement data released under a Freedom of Information Act request...
...The previously unavailable deportation data are likely to fuel the political debate over whether Obama administration policies are partly responsible for the 52,000 children and teens who have surrendered to or been caught by Border Patrol agents since last October, spurring fresh concerns about U.S. border security and immigration law.
...Organized crime groups in Central America have exploited the slow U.S. legal process and the compassion shown to children in apparent crisis, according to David Leopold, an immigration attorney in Cleveland.
He said smugglers, who may charge a family up to $12,000 to deliver a child to the border, often tell them exactly what to say to American officials.
"The cartels have figured out where the hole is," he said.
Did you ever think you'd see the day when the Democrat Party, the White House, and the Mexican drug cartels would all be working hand-in-hand to dismantle the United States? Well, that day has arrived.

GOOD NEWS: Obama Seeks Alliance with Iran and Syria to Combat the ISIS Threat He Helped Create!
And now, his administration is reported to be considering an alliance with the Syrian dictator thanks to a complete foreign policy meltdown in Iraq.
There’s a battle raging inside the Obama administration about whether the United States ought to push away from its goal of toppling Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad and into a de facto alliance with the Damascus regime to fight ISIS and other Sunni extremists in the region.
As President Obama slowly but surely increases the U.S. military presence on the ground in Iraq, his administration is grappling with the immediate need to stop the ISIS advance and push for a political solution in Baghdad. The 3 1/2-year grinding civil war is Syria has been put on a back burner for now. Some officials inside the administration are proposing that the drive to remove Assad from power, which Obama announced as U.S. policy in 2012, be set aside, too. The focus, these officials argue, should instead be on the region’s security and stability. Governments fighting for survival against extremists should be shored up, not undermined.
A "political solution" to a Jihadist group so extreme (ISIS) that Al Qaeda cut ties with them? Good one. That's some quality Comedy Central material right there.
“Anyone calling for regime change in Syria is frankly blind to the past decade; and the collapse of eastern Syria, and growth of Jihadistan, leading to 30 to 50 suicide attacks a month in Iraq,” one senior Obama administration official who works on Iraq policy told The Daily Beast.
In effect, the American government has been in a limited partnership with the Assad regime for almost a year. The U.S., Russian, and Syrian governments made a deal last September to destroy Assad’s stockpile of chemical weapons—and relied on Damascus to account for and transport those weapons, in effect legitimizing his claim to continued power.
As far back as last December, top White House officials, including Deputy National Security Advisor Tony Blinken, have suggested that the rising threat of extremism was creating a “convergence of interests” between the U.S., Russia, and its allies in the Iranian and the Syrian governments to come to a political deal before the Islamists became too powerful.
Interesting. I hadn't realized the U.S. has allies in the genocidal Syrian regime and its Iranian puppet-masters who have pledged to wipe the Great Satan (the U.S.) and the Little Satan (Israel) from the face of the Earth. Partners!
Of course, sensible folks have yet to talk sense into the Obama administration.
... “The people who think Bashar al Assad’s regime is the answer to containing and eventually eliminating the Islamic-based threat do not understand the historic relationship between the regime and ISIS. [They] don’t understand the current relationship between Assad and ISIS and how they are working on the ground together directly and indirectly inside Syria,” Robert Ford, the recently departed U.S. ambassador to Syria, told The Daily Beast. “The people who think Assad’s regime survival is essential have not explained how his survival would solve the problem of extremism in Syria.”
Oh, it gets better.
Some administration officials are also suggesting that Iran could be a partner in a post-war Syria, helping to ensure security there during a transition period, after which Assad would negotiate his own departure.
When it comes to this administration, one has to ask: is it incompetence or evil?
As an aside, The Daily Beast's Eli Lake and Josh Rogin should be running neck-and-neck in the Pulitzer competition this year, but given that they both speak truth to power, the odds of their seeing such an award are roughly akin to me being able to sneak a pizza out of Michael Moore's mansion.

FOREIGN MEDIA REVEAL: Obama Administration's Lawless Policies Responsible for Child Refugee Crisis
When it comes to dissecting the true reasons for the Obama Refugee Crisis on the southern border, for instance, we discover Malaysia's The Star, where Reuters' Jose Cortes offers us the straight scoop.
Executive summary: while the cartels are responsible for spreading rumors about “permisos,” “permits,” or free passes for those who make it into the United States, the author of that notion is Obama himself.
Driven from home by threats of gang violence and extortion and drawn to the U.S. by hopes of education and opportunity, Carlos, a 15-year-old from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, is stuck in southern Mexico, living in a shelter and trying to figure out how to get to California.
He says he has an uncle there, who told him that in America he can go to school and find a job. He says that back in Honduras there's a local gang that wants to kill him. He's thinking of climbing on board "La Bestia", or "The Beast", one of the freight trains that carry thousands of illegal immigrants north through Mexico.
Speaking last week from the rail yards in the town of Ixtepec, Oaxaca, Carlos is one of the thousands of young people hoping to reach the U.S. from their impoverished and violent homes in Central America. In the eight months ended June 15, the U.S. has detained about 52,000 children at the Mexican border, double the figure the year earlier. There's no telling how many have gotten through...
...Some combination of hope and fear is driving these children, but the hope side of it is probably illusory. Human traffickers are spreading rumors that illegal immigrants will receive permits to stay in the U.S, while some news stories published in Central America reinforce the idea that children who make it to the U.S. will be treated leniently...
...In fact, there have been some policy changes in the past few years that may be fuelling the rumour mill. In 2011, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) gave immigration officials discretion to weigh various factors in apprehension, detention, and deportation, particularly in the case of children.
And in 2012, Obama's administration said young immigrants who had been in the United States since 2007, and never been convicted of a felony among other requirements, could apply for a two-year authorization to stay and work in the country.
Donald Douglas concludes his analysis with more candor than is legally approved for antique media:
A humane presidential administration would take decisive action to protect these children. Migrants would be turned back at the border. The U.S. government would rebuke Mexico for its callous porousness, and the State Department would be warning foreign government of sanctions for encouraging their citizens to flood the American Southwest.
Of course, none of this is happening, because the Obama White House is mounting a demonic Alinskyite campaign of manufactured crisis, putting untold alien migrant lives at risk, to say nothing of the dozens upon dozens of American communities now fearing for their safety and trying to protect themselves from Third World diseases.
Of course, a humane administration wouldn't have sent thousands of assault weapons to the Mexican Cartels, or gone to sleep while ignoring cries for help from an Ambassador's mission in Libya, or used the IRS to target its political opponents, to name but a few.

Obama's Self-Described "Brown Shirts": We'll Jail Anyone Who Tells Public About Illegal Alien Disease Crisis
Todd Starnes explains in his detailed summary ("Medical staff warned: Keep your mouths shut about illegal immigrants or face arrest"):
A government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, sources say.
In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared exclusive details with me about the dangerous conditions at the camp. They said taxpayers deserve to know about the contagious diseases and the risks the children pose to Americans. I have agreed to not to disclose their identities because they fear retaliation and prosecution...
...The sources said workers were guarded by a security force from the BCFS, which the Department of Health and Human Services hired to run the Lackland Camp... The sources say security forces called themselves the “Brown Shirts.”
“It was a very submissive atmosphere,” the counselor said. “Once you stepped onto the grounds, you abided by their laws – the Brown Shirt laws.”
She said the workers were stripped of their cellphones and other communication devices. Anyone caught with a phone was immediately fired... “Everyone was paranoid,” she said. “The children had more rights than the workers." ... She said children in the camp had measles, scabies, chicken pox and strep throat as well as mental and emotional issues.
...A former nurse at the camp told me she was horrified by what she saw... “We have so many kids coming in that there was no way to control all of the sickness – all this stuff coming into the country,” she said.
Not to worry, my friends. Jeb Bush says they're bringing all of these diseases to the United States for noble reasons. So just ignore the outbreaks of contagious, deadly diseases from the Third World.

Is the Republican establishment using race-baiting and voter fraud?
Apparently, the Republican establishment will use any means necessary to suppress spontaneous outbreaks of democracy among ordinary Americans.
Incumbent and Republican establishment darling Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS) faced a tough challenge in the June 3rd Republican primary from Tea Party-backed State Senator Chris McDaniel. Although Cochran maintained a lead over McDaniel in terms of campaign finances, the primary results did not provide a clear winner. McDaniel (49.5%, 155,040) received more votes than Cochran (49%, 153,654), but a third candidate, Thomas Carey (1.5%, 4,789), took just enough votes so that McDaniel did not receive the 50% of the vote necessary to avoid a runoff. One week later, the Republican establishment was stunned when House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA), who was in line to be the next House Speaker, was crushed in his primary by Tea Party-backed economics professor Dave Brat, who received 55.8% of the vote compared to Cantor's 44.2%.
That result set the stage for an epic battle between a battered Republican establishment and a rejuvenated Tea Party in the June 24, 2014 Mississippi Senatorial run-off between Cochran and McDaniel, a contest the Republican establishment knew it could not afford to lose.
The Republican establishment went into full panic mode when a WPA Research poll conducted between June 9th and 10th showed McDaniel's lead over Cochran among 500 likely GOP primary runoff voters had shot up to eight points, 49% and 41%, respectively.
Clearly, Cochran was losing ground among Republican voters and the Republican establishment likely then decided that it could only close the gap by adopting Democratic Party tactics and soliciting cross-over votes from registered Democrats.
Cochran used Democratic Party talking points about Tea Party candidates, leveling personal attacks against McDaniel, calling him an "extremist" and "dangerous."

BOOM: True The Vote Sues Mississippi GOP -- and by Extension, the GOP Establishment -- Over Vote Fraud
True the Vote, the citizens initiative pursuing “free and fair elections for all Americans,” and 13 other plaintiffs have filed a lawsuit in federal court against the Mississippi Secretary of State and the Republican Party of Mississippi over the June 24 primary election runoff in which Sen. Thad Cochran edged tea-party challenger Chris McDaniel.
The lawsuit asks the court to grant immediate access to voting records to inspect for possible illegal voting. It asserts that “defendants failed to properly abide by federal election record maintenance and open records provisions codified in the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (NVRA). Records made partially available to the plaintiffs indicated ‘double-voting’ from Democratic to Republican primaries – potentially diluting votes in violation of the Equal Protection Clause.”
The complaint explains that the National Voter Registration Act supersedes Mississippi law.
“All we are asking is that the Mississippi State Republican Party follow the law; allow their designated county representatives to inspect the poll books and ballots, give them the review time they are permitted by law, and allow them to uphold their responsibility to Mississippi voters … True the Vote has been inundated with reports from voters across Mississippi who are outraged to see the integrity of this election being undermined so that politicos can get back to business as usual. Enough is enough,” said True the Vote President Catherine Engelbrecht.
McDaniel won the June 3 state GOP primary with a margin too small (about 1,500 votes) to avoid a runoff. Cochran won the runoff with 7,000 votes, allegedly by convincing thousands of black Democrats to cross over and vote for him in the runoff.
One campaign flyer in particular claimed McDaniel intended to prevent blacks from voting. A radio announcement implied that McDaniel was going to defund welfare and urged blacks to vote for Cochran: “By not voting, you’re saying, ‘Take away all of my government programs, such as food stamps, early breakfast and lunch programs, millions of dollars to our black universities …’”
ROLL OUT THE WELCOME MAT: Ready for a Flood of Illegals to be Dumped in Your City or Town?
Tens of thousands of immigrants who illegally crossed the Mexico border into Texas are in the process of being released into communities throughout the nation rather than being indefinitely detained or immediately deported, a congressman told Watchdog.org.
The releases have already started and the Border Patrol did not disclose how many. At least 60,000 Central Americans have entered the country illegally this year, though some news reports say the figure is as high as 170,000. An effort is under way to place children in foster homes or with relatives already living in the U.S., said Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas.
The adults are being given a “notice to appear,” something like to a traffic ticket that requires they show up for a deportation hearing. Following that notice, they are simply being released. Those who return for the hearing will face a federal immigration judge to determine their fate.
“You know good and well they won’t show up and we won’t go looking for them,” Gohmert said. “When they get their piece of paper saying report back on such a day at such a time, they take that as their legal permit to stay in the country and they go do what they want.”
A senior Los Angeles County Sheriff’s detective who routinely deals with illegal immigrants said a “massive number – 80 to 90 percent” do not show up for deportation hearings. Detention is not even being considered because Homeland Security facilities are not equipped to hold a large number of people, said the detective, who spoke on a guarantee of anonymity.

Law of the Land Comix
Obamacare isn't the law of the land. It's an ever-evolving set of lawless dictates from bureaucrats and other miscreants in Washington.
It must be destroyed, defunded, repealed or otherwise nuked from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
And any so-called Republican who refuses to commit to such a course of action should be expelled from consideration as a serious candidate.

VA hospitals fund solar panels while veterans die waiting for doctors
Veterans Administration hospitals have spent at least $420 million on solar panels and windmills while vets wait months — or even lay dying — to see a doctor.
In total, VA hospitals reported 23 deaths due to 76 instances of delayed care, an April 2014 VA fact sheet said. Then on June 5, Acting Veteran Affairs Secretary Sloan Gibson revealed that at least 18 Phoenix patients died while waiting for treatment on a secret list kept off the books. It is not clear if that number is in addition to the 23 deaths reported earlier. During the past month, the scandal has resulted in the resignations of both the VA secretary and the leaders of its health care component.
According to a June 3 audit, 100,000 veterans had lengthy wait times for appointments. Of the nation’s 216 VA hospitals, 37 percent will require further investigation.
A whistleblower revealed Tuesday that seven of the patients listed on the Phoenix VA hospitals waiting list are already dead. That same Phoenix facility spent $20 million to build the nation’s largest solar carport. Phase one of the project was completed in 2011. The hospital also had an $11.4 million shortfall that year, an Inspector General’s report stated.

ISSA: Lerner’s Lawyer ‘Outright Lied’ to Congress
During separate appearances on CNN’s “State of the Union with Candy Crowley,” House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and William Taylor, former IRS official Lois Lerner’s lawyer, offered contrasting thoughts on her role in a computer crash that destroyed two years worth of emails.
The IRS notified Congress earlier this month that Lerner, former head of the Internal Revenue Service’s tax exempt division, and several other agency employees lost emails between January 2009 and April 2011 — the time period during tea party groups were subject to additional scrutiny by the IRS — due to a computer crash. In addition, hard drives housing those emails were destroyed after computer specialists rendered them irretrievable.Issa accused Lerner’s attorney, Taylor, of having “said things and been not correct, or disingenuous, or outright lied a number of times” during a discussion about the lack of printed copies of Lerner’s lost e-mails with CNN host Candy Crowley. Lerner, Issa said, likely “broke some laws” by providing the Department of Justice with information on tea party and conservatives groups.
Taylor, however, defended his client and accused Republicans of playing “election-year politics.”
“It’s convenient to have a demon that they can create and point to,” Taylor said of the GOP’s treatment of Lerner.

BOOM, BABY: Federal Court Grants Hearing on IRS Email Destruction
IRS failed to notify Judicial Watch or the Court that it had “lost” emails in key lawsuit
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today filed a Motion for Status Conference, and within hours was granted a hearing in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia to confer about the emails of Lois Lerner and other IRS officials, which were the subject of longstanding Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and a lawsuit, and which the IRS now claims to have “lost” (Judicial Watch v. IRS(No. 1:13-cv–1559)). The hearing is scheduled for July 10.
The emails Judicial Watch has sought since May 2013 cover portions of the same period for which the IRS on June 13, 2014, notified the House Committee on Ways and Means were lost or destroyed. Yet, according to the Motion for Status Conference, the IRS failed to notify either Judicial Watch or the court concerning the “lost” emails:
Plaintiff’s FOIA requests and the Committee’s request indisputably seek the same emails of Lois Lerner and the other IRS officials, including Nikole Flax, from January 1, 2010 to the present. Despite the obvious relevance, IRS has still not notified the Court or Plaintiff of the destruction of emails and whether the same issues relating to production of emails of Lois Lerner or the other six IRS officials exist in this lawsuit. Plaintiff only learned of the destroyed records on June 13, 2014, when the news media reported on the existence of IRS’s letter to Congress about the status of the emails.
In May 2013, Judicial Watch submitted four separate FOIA requests for IRS communications concerning the review process for organizations seeking tax exempt status. One of the FOIA requests specifically sought Lerner’s communications with other IRS employees and with any government or private entity outside the IRS regarding the review and approval process for 501(c)(4) applicants from January 1, 2010, to the present. A second request sought communications for the same time frame between the IRS and members of Congress and other government agencies, as well as any office of the Executive Branch. After the IRS failed to provide the information, Judicial Watch filed a FOIA lawsuit on October 9, 2013.
The Judicial Watch Motion for Status Conference contends that its FOIA lawsuit led to the discovery of the “lost” emails:
As revealed in the announcement by the Committee, IRS confirmed that it first knew of the lost emails in February 2014. See Exhibit 3. This was during the same time frame IRS made its first production of responsive records to Plaintiff in this case on February 26, 2014. See IRS’ Status Update Report (ECF No. 15). The timing of these events reveals that the discovery of the supposedly lost emails was triggered by this lawsuit. However, IRS has still not informed this Court or Plaintiff regarding the missing emails in this litigation.
According to the Judicial Watch Motion, the IRS subsequently may have intentionally omitted material information from the court:

I'M SURE THIS HAS NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH OPEN BORDERS: California Claims 9 of Top 10 Cities for Car Thefts
The National Insurance Crime Bureau’s (NICB) “Hot Spots” report examines vehicle theft data obtained from the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) for each of the nation’s metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs)...
...Although California tends to place high in this report, this is the first time that California has held nine of the top 10 spots for MSAs with the highest per capita vehicle theft rates. In 2012, it held eight and in 2011, seven.
And, even if illegal immigration had something to do with this uncomfortable fact, they're doing it for love, according to Jeb Bush.
So, by all means, let's pass Amnesty and incentivize even more unvetted individuals to break into the U.S.

YOU'VE GOT MAIL: NRSC Wants Your Money to Support "Proud Conservative Candidates" Like Thad Cochran
There was an interesting email in my inbox this morning:
Doug,
We have a lot of work to do in the months ahead before the midterm elections. In races across the country, there are proud conservative candidates waiting for the chance to step up and lead. And a Senate majority will do the most to deliver on our promise to lead the country back to prosperity.
But goals like this have steps along the way. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today – we are three days from the end of the month, and we could use your help to close the gap.
Meeting our monthly goals is essential to having the resources needed to compete. Senator Rob Portman has offered to triple-match your donation – which means that every dollar you donate is worth $4 to the NRSC.
Let’s Get It Done,
Senate Republicans
In case you’re wondering, the answer is yes: The NRSC is indeed the same establishment group that spent $800,000 turning out Democrats to pick the Republican nominee in Mississippi earlier this week by, among other things, labeling the actual conservative candidate and his supporters as racists. And now they want me to give them money to help fund their efforts to employ Democrat voters — and tactics — to support "proud conservative candidates waiting for the chance to step up and lead" like … big-spending pork king Thad Cochran. I think not.

IRS FINALLY ADMITS: Uhhh, Yeah, Uhhh... Actually... There Was a Smidgen of a Scandal, Dude.
Scandal: The Internal Revenue Service admits it broke the law after an organization whose private tax data are illegally shared with an ideological competitor wins its lawsuit. So who is going to prison for this federal crime?
If IRS Commissioner John Koskinen wants to know which criminal statutes have been broken, he might try reading about one in the morning newspapers, the same place President Obama gets his information about the "phony scandal" du jour. The National Organization for Marriage has been awarded a $50,000 settlement from the IRS after the agency admitted wrongdoing in leaking the organization's 2008 tax return and the names and contact information of major donors. The information was forwarded from the IRS to the pro-gay marriage group Human Rights Campaign. That group then posted the data on its website during the 2012 presidential campaign. Unauthorized dissemination of such information is a felony.
At that time, Joe Solmonese, a left-wing activist and Huffington Post contributor, was the president of the Human Rights Campaign. Solmonese also became a 2012 Obama campaign co-chairman. As Matthew Boyle has reported at Breitbart News, this information was used to attack Mitt Romney during the election campaign, according to the National Organization for Marriage, which opposes Obama's stance on gay marriage.
The Huffington Post used the leaked documents in a story questioning Romney's support for traditional marriage. The documents showed Romney donated $10,000 to the National Organization for Marriage.
Names and addresses of National Organization for Marriage donors — contained in a Form 990 Schedule B, which the organization is required to file with the IRS but is not public information — were to be used in the kind of bullying campaign commonly employed by liberal groups.
The prospect of donor names and addresses being made public is also useful in drying up financial support for conservative groups.

In Narrow Ruling, Supreme Court Invalidates 3 Obama Appointments
by Krishnadev Calamur
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Thursday that three appointments President Obama made in 2012 to the National Labor Relations Board are not valid because they were not approved by the Senate, which was in pro forma session at the time.
In a unanimous decision, the justices said the Constitution's recess-appointments clause gave Congress the power to decide when it is in recess, and that there was no recess when Obama acted. The case is National Labor Relations Board v. Noel Canning...
What a bunch o' crackpots.
No wonder they can't survive without government assistance.
A SYMPHONY OF LIES: Old Media's Despicable Attacks on Scott Walker
The news was filled last week with breathless headlines: “Scott Walker part of ‘criminal scheme,’” declared The Washington Post. The Milwaukee (Wisconsin) Journal Sentinel, which is intimately familiar with the facts of this case, nonetheless headlined “John Doe prosecutors allege Scott Walker at center of ‘criminal scheme.’” The New York Times, all the networks, CNN, MSNBC, Time.com and all the other usual suspects chimed in with a deafening cacophony of alarm, using the same “Walker at center of criminal scheme” headlines. Even Forbes took the bait.
In a year saturated with false, misleading or downright fraudulent misreporting from the left-wing biased mass media, this disgraceful bit of propaganda vies for first place. The court documents in this formerly secret investigation were not new, and the case has been thrown out of court and declared illegal, not once but twice.
Not only were the same headlines used, but most news outlets used the same dishonest technique to make this old information sound like it was breaking news. Politico’s lead paragraph reads:
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker participated in a “criminal scheme” to coordinate fundraising for Republicans trying to beat back efforts to recall him and state senators from office, local prosecutors argue in court documents released Thursday.
Politico lies. By stating it in the present tense as, “prosecutors argue in court documents released Thursday,” Politico implies the allegations are current. These documents are from last year and have only been unsealed because these same prosecutors are now being sued by their former victims for their rampant abuse of the legal system.

UN-FLIPPIN-REAL: GOP Establishment has "no regrets about going all-in against flawed primary candidates"
Establishment-aligned groups have already spent some $23 million on independent expenditures propping up favored House and Senate candidates in contentious primaries...
...The scope of the effort to suppress activist-backed candidates has been broader and costlier than is widely understood, covering at least 20 House and Senate primaries ... [t]he loose coalition of establishment forces encompasses two dozen advocacy groups, industry associations and super PACs that have raised and spent millions on behalf of Washington’s chosen candidates.
Nearly a third of the establishment money has come from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The business lobby’s spending in this year’s toughest primaries has about equaled the $7 million that the conservative Club for Growth and the Senate Conservatives Fund have spent together on the most fractious elections — excluding races, like the Senate campaigns in Arkansas and Alaska, where there’s been no meaningful clash between establishment-sanctioned outside groups and the activist right.
And the $23 million figure isn’t even close to a full accounting of what D.C.-backed candidates spent to win their nomination fights. Candidates themselves, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and John Cornyn of Texas, have collectively spent tens of millions more from their campaign accounts.
Top Republican strategists and party officials say they have no regrets about going all-in against flawed primary candidates. In a perfect world, they say, the whole expensive ordeal would be unnecessary. With conservative outside groups routinely bumping off incumbent lawmakers and prized recruits, it’s simply the cost of doing business — now and perhaps for the foreseeable future.
Let me rephrase the salient sentence: Rove, Barbour and McConnell "have no regrets about going all-in against flawed primary candidates".
Flawed primary candidates?
That would be Thad Cochran, an incumbent with 42 years in Congress, who literally has such diminished mental faculties that he couldn't even debate his opponent. Un-freaking-believable.

WAR: Steal a Page From Murkowski's Playbook and Write in Chris McDaniel in #MSSEN and Matt Bevin in #KYSEN
I refer, of course, to the actions of Rove, the Chamber of Commerce, Haley Barbour, et. al. in tarring U.S. Senate candidate Chris McDaniel as a virulent racist. In doing so, they not only attacked their own base, they not only stole a primary election using illegal tactics, but they also abandoned any semblance of principle.
WAR: THE MURKOWSKI PLAYBOOK
Truly disgusted, I thought to myself: why not use their own tactics against them? After incumbent Beltway RINO Lisa Murkowski lost her GOP primary in 2010 to Joe Miller, she ran in the general election as a write-in candidate. She won, becoming the first to win as a Senate write-in in 50 years.I don't believe in sitting out elections. There are fairly conservative Senate candidates running in several states, and it would be a mistake to abandon them on the battlefield.
That said, Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Thad Cochran (R-MS) must both be made to pay a heavy price for their unconscionable actions.
WRITE IN CHRIS McDANIEL, CRUSH THAD COCHRAN
Chris McDaniel has a viable legal challenge against Cochran's outrageous victory. Had only Republicans voted in the, er, Republican primary, McDaniel would have won in a crushing landslide, by approximately 25,000 votes. As it turns out, however, more than 30,000 Democrats voted in the GOP primary, many of them illegally. Those Democrats who voted in the primary several weeks ago and voted again in the Republican primary broke state law.Chris McDaniel is said to be considering a write-in candidacy.
Please contact Chris by calling his campaign office at 601-283-2156 or by email at info@mcdaniel2014.com and urge him to run.
He deserves to win -- and he can win.

Mitch McConnell needs to go. It is his hidden hand that is behind a range of attacks on conservatives, both overt and covert.I urge you to contact Matt Bevin and ask him to file as a write-in candidate in Kentucky (he has until 24 October to do so, but obviously the sooner the better). I've already done so, asking him on Twitter.
IF THE GOP WANTS WAR, IT IS WAR THEY WILL GET
McConnell and Cochran must be defeated. I urge you, rather than sitting it out, to support their write-in opponents.#RememberMississippi.
#WAR
