"OH, THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING": Fascinating Interview Regarding Subpoenas Issued to Obama Cronies

Writing at The Daily Beast, John Batchelor offers a fascinating sitdown with Chairman Devin Nunes of the House Select Intelligence Committee.

The primary topic: the unmasking of Trump campaign officials -- like Michael Flynn -- by various members of the Obama administration.

Read the entire thing, but some key graphs follow to provide a flavor to the scope and magnitude of the investigation. It's truly powerful stuff.

"ASTONISHING": Judicial Watch Forced to Sue Tillerson State Department to Release All Hillary Emails

By Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a motion in opposition to the Tillerson State Department’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit challenging its failure to take any action to recover emails of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other employees unlawfully removed from the agency (Judicial Watch, Inc. v. Rex Tillerson (No. 1:15-cv-00785)). The lawsuit seeks to force State Department compliance with the Federal Records Act (FRA). The Trump administration continues to object to taking this strong action to recover Clinton’s emails.

GENIUS: How About E-Verifying Tax Refund Recipients?

By David North

The Trump administration is said to be thinking about illegal aliens and Social Security.

Let's hope the focus of the new people is not on Social Security beneficiaries, as benefits are not supposed to be paid to those without legal status, anyway. This part of the system may not be enforced with zest, but the rules are in place. Clearly such systems could, and should, be tightened.

The focus on Social Security and illegal aliens, however, should be on seeing to it that the massive amount of information on the illegals held by the SSA — now rarely shared with other agencies — should be routinely dispatched to other federal outfits that can, and should, do something about it.

Trump, Jerusalem, and the Three-State Solution

By Caroline Glick

Last week, US President Donald Trump bowed to the foreign policy establishment and betrayed his voters. He signed a presidential waiver postponing the transfer of the US Embassy to Jerusalem for yet another six months.

Ahead of Trump’s move, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a last-ditch bid to convince Trump to move the embassy to Jerusalem. But it was not to be.

Israel’s failure to convince Trump to do what he repeatedly promised US voters he would do during his presidential campaign shows the disparity in power between Israel and the US.

PARIS CLIMATE AGREEMENT GOES COVFEFE: We Can All Breathe Easier

By Daniel John Sobieski

In the minds of the high priests of climate change, man’s alleged ravaging of the earth causes everything from original sin to the common cold. It was surprising that Hillary Clinton didn’t list it as an excuse for her election lost right after computer nerds in Macedonia. With President Trump pulling the U.S. out of the Paris climate fraud agreement, the prophets of doom have returned in full voice.

Former Secretary of State and failed presidential candidate John Kerry, who once said climate change was as big a threat to human life as Islamic State terror,  says President Trump just gave the kids of the world the gift of asthma. As Fox News Insider reports:

Former Secretary of State John Kerry ripped President Trump's decision to abandon the Paris climate deal yesterday, saying the lungs of American children will take the hit.

YOUR LEGACY MEDIA: "At least 20 casualties in London 'terrorist' attack"

AFP's Dario Thuburn has a bad case of Islamophobiaphobia:
London (AFP) - A van ploughed into pedestrians and several people were stabbed in central London on Saturday, leaving at least 20 casualties in what police called a "terrorist" attack days before a general election.

Armed police opened fire during two "terrorist incidents" at London Bridge and nearby Borough Market, a popular nightspot teeming with bars on a warm summer evening.

HACKED! Wasserman Schultz Admits She Violated Security Policies, Blame Others For Doing So (Unexpectedly)

By Luke Rosiak

Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, whose office equipment U.S. Capitol Police seized in a criminal investigation into congressional network security violations, admitted she violates official information security policy and blamed the House’s chief administrative officer for not stopping her.

In a May 17 appropriations hearing on Congress’ administrative budget, Wasserman Shultz said she had violated the policies “for years and years and years.” She also sought to find out how much House authorities might know about her internet usage, asking “Are members monitored?”

THE IVY LEAGUE AIN’T WHAT IT USED TO BE: Harvard Chair Joyce Chaplin Claims U.S. Created in 1783 via Paris Agreement

This is so much fail, I suspect some considering Harvard are now contemplating online degrees from the U. of Phoenix. Which is probably teaching the subject of American history better than the far left nutjob Joyce E. Chaplin, if that is her real name.

Some of the reactions on Twitter were priceless:

REPORT: Trump Will Exit Paris Climate Agreement; Warmal Colding Cultists Hardest Hit

By Daniel John Sobieski

If the Associated Press report is accurate, President Trump is going to pull the United States out of the Paris Climate Accords, an economic albatross based on junk science the rest of the world wants to hang around the neck of the United States. It could happen as soon as the day after tomorrow. As the AP reported:

President Donald Trump is expected to pull the United States from a landmark global climate agreement, a White House official said Wednesday, though there could be "caveats in the language" announcing a withdrawal, leaving open the possibility that his decision isn't final...

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS: Only 52 Shot in Chicago Over the Weekend Marks "Progress"

Seriously.

If you're seeking proof that at least one of Michael Savage's book titles was spot-on, look no further than this celebration of a Blue State Success Story™:

Shootings over Memorial Day weekend in Chicago left seven people dead and another 45 injured, a count that surprisingly marks progress for the city — and a drop in the number of shooting victims compared to the same period last year.

Monday — Memorial Day — was the most deadly day of the long weekend, with 24 people shot, five of them fatally, the Chicago Tribune reported.

But these totals are lower than 2016’s tally. Last year, there were 71 shootings over Memorial Day, according to data gathered by the Chicago Tribune. Six were fatal.

So, by author Megan Cerullo's reckoning, more dead in 2017 versus 2016 equals "progress".

SO MUCH FOR OBAMA’S "FLEXIBILITY": Missile Defense Working Despite Decades of Democrat Resistance

By Daniel John Sobieski

Tuesday’s missile defense test in which a ground-based interceptor successfully intercepted an ICBM over the Pacific was both a warning to North Korea and another indication America is back. The test was in the works before Trump took office but it comes under an administration welcoming improvements in missile defense versus the prior Obama administration that used back-channels to try to give it away to Putin and the Russians. As the Washington Examiner reported:

LOOKY HERE, MEDIA HACKS: An Actual Russia Scandal!

By Cliff Kincaid

Josh Gerstein’s Politico story about the owners of a Russian bank suing BuzzFeed for publishing the “Trump Dossier” containing “unproven claims” doesn’t go far enough. These “unproven” and even disproven claims that have guided the FBI’s dead-end investigation of President Donald Trump, are one reason that former Director James Comey deserved to be fired.

The real Russian disinformation has been the notorious “Trump Dossier,” which has been serving as the “roadmap” for the FBI.

Weeks after Accuracy in Media exposed the nature of this phony document in a three-part series, “The Final Truth About the Trump Dossier,” Wall Street Journal columnist Holman W. Jenkins, Jr., has stumbled upon the truth, saying the dossier smells like a Russian plant. Our verdict was that the dossier compiled by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele was part of a Russian effort, financed by Hillary Clinton donors, to smear Trump. That’s what the evidence shows:

23,000 Jihadis

By James Simpson

About 23,000 jihadis — potential terrorists — are living in Great Britain today, British intelligence recently revealed.

Approximately 3,000 of these are considered active threats and are being monitored or investigated, the Times of London is reporting. The remaining 20,000 either have been monitored and dropped from the list or cannot be monitored for lack of law enforcement resources. Salman Abedi, the Manchester bomber, was among the latter group. He had been investigated, but was no longer considered a threat. The same is true of Khalid Masood, the terrorist who killed five people and injured 49 in an attack on the Westminster Bridge earlier this year.

THE DEMOCRATS SECEDE FOR A SECOND TIME: Is a New Civil War Brewing?

By David Horowitz

Senator Kamala Harris is a rising star in the Democratic Party, frequently mentioned on the short-list of contenders for the next presidential race. In a recent commencement speech at Howard University Harris issued a call to arms, urging her audience to rally behind the Democrats’ resistance to the Trump administration: “Graduates, indeed we have a fight ahead. This is a fight to define what kind of country we are, and it’s a fight to determine what country we will be.”

Ignore for a moment the impropriety of addressing a class of students as though they were Democratic Party operatives. Focus instead on the statement itself. The call “to define what kind of country we are” is an ominous agenda for America. Compared to other nations, America is absolutely unique in one regard: it is a country defined in its creation. Normally, nations have been formed on the basis of common origins, ethnicities, and languages – a modern form of tribalism. In contrast, America was created by peoples of diverse origins and ethnicities and on principles that were universal. The American union was forged in a set of founding documents that insisted on the equality of citizens – regardless of origins. The idea that creates the identity “American” is summarized in America’s official motto: e pluribus unum – out of many, one.

It took a Civil War and two hundred years of sacrifice and struggle to achieve a polity that approached this ideal.

SHOCKER: Trump Aide Sought Private Communication Channel With Russia to Stop Obama Illegal Surveillance

The latest faux news, leaked all over legacy media, is that President-Elect Trump's son-in-law sought to set up a private communication channel with Russian diplomatic officials.

This, my friends, is yet another attempt at a cover-up. The real scandal, yet unreported by legacy media, is the pervasive and illegal surveillance of scores of Americans by the Obama administration.

It gets worse:

APPLE "NEWS" HIRES FAR LEFT EDITOR OF NEW YORK MAGAZINE: Predictable Results Ensue

By NTK Network

Apple News, the tech giant’s foray into the online news space, hired a new editor-in-chief Thursday according to Politico.

The hiring of Lauren Kern, described as “one of New York magazine’s most high-ranking editors and a former deputy editor at The New York Times Magazine,” is raising eyebrows in both Silicon Valley and political circles alike. With the issue of bias in the news media so heated, the hiring of Kern, the editor of a liberal news site, raises questions about Apple’s impartiality when it comes to news.

MARK LEVIN: If I were Sean Hannity...

By Mark Levin

...I would give very serious consideration to suing Media Matters, its board, and its officers, as well as any other entity involved in the organized effort to boycott his TV show, including media outlets contacting his advertisers in a thinly veiled boycott tactic, for the purposeful tortious interference with his employment contract with Fox News and his business relationships with his various advertisers.
