NINTH CIRCUIT: Yes, We Approve of the Violent Balkanization of the United States Like Yugoslavia
Yesterday, the 9th US Circuit ruled that the display of the American flag could be banned in a school if enough hoodlums threatened violence and the school lacked the will to do anything about it.
Apparently Live Oaks High School in Morgan Hill, CA allows a celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Cinco de Mayo, as we know is a Mexican holiday that was popularized in the US by chain restaurants wanting to sell super-sized margaritas and Dos Equis beer. Why that day? When it is safe to say 99% of the people celebrating it and a higher percentage of the students at Live Oak High School, regardless of heritage have never heard of the Battle of Puebla and couldn’t find it on a map. I don’t know.
Some American students, and I use that term deliberately without regards to ethnicity, objected to the giving over of the school to Mexico for the day and protested it by wearing American flags or American flag apparel...
...Rather than take action against those threatening violence, the principal, showing the moral and physical courage the educational establishment is so famous for, sent home the kids wearing American flags, in an American school, in freakin United States of America.
Would you be surprised to find out that California is ranked 47th in 8th grade science scores?
Or that 40 percent of California's children aren't fluent in English?
Or that 44 percent of incoming freshmen into the California state university system need help with remedial English and math?
And, most importantly, "it is forbidden to notice that there is a cause-and-effect relationship between illegal immigration and these woes"?
Multilingualism rips countries apart. The term Balkanization -- represented by countries like Yugoslavia -- is "the process of fragmentation or division of a region or state into smaller regions or states that are often hostile" to one another.
Multilingualism promotes division.
Ultimately, multilingualism promotes civil war.
The Ukraine is but another example, its history rife with division and conflict even today.
Fast forward to the collapse of the Soviet Union, and we find that that fundamental division made hundreds of years ago, between East and West, Ukrainian and Russian speakers, is now a central issue. Once again, our bad neighbor to the East is trying to sweep Ukraine into its stifling embrace, exploiting the ancient divisions it helped cause.
The undeniable fact is this: Democrats embrace multiculturalism, which asserts that all cultures -- no matter how primitive or backward -- are equal. Democrats embrace multilingualism, which prevents assimilation. Democrats embrace division, not a harmonious civil society.
And the Ninth Circuit's ludicrous decision affirms that we are indeed on the path to a dissolution of the Republic.

15 Reasons Your Food Bill is Set to Soar
Did you know that the U.S. state that produces the most vegetables is going through the worst drought it has ever experienced and that the size of the total U.S. cattle herd is now the smallest that it has been since 1951? Just the other day, a CBS News article boldly declared that "food prices soar as incomes stand still", but the truth is that this is only just the beginning. If the drought that has been devastating farmers and ranchers out west continues, we are going to see prices for meat, fruits and vegetables soar into the stratosphere. Already, the federal government has declared portions of 11 states to be "disaster areas", and California farmers are going to leave half a million acres sitting idle this year because of the extremely dry conditions. Sadly, experts are telling us that things are probably going to get worse before they get better (if they ever do). As you will read about below, one expert recently told National Geographic that throughout history it has been quite common for that region of North America to experience severe droughts that last for decades. In fact, one drought actually lasted for about 200 years. So there is the possibility that the drought that has begun in the state of California may not end during your entire lifetime.
This drought has gotten so bad that it is starting to get national attention. Barack Obama visited the Fresno region on Friday, and he declared that "this is going to be a very challenging situation this year, and frankly, the trend lines are such where it's going to be a challenging situation for some time to come."
According to NBC News, businesses across the region are shutting down, large numbers of workers are leaving to search for other work, and things are already so bad that it "calls to mind the Dust Bowl of the 1930s"...
In the state's Central Valley — where nearly 40 percent of all jobs are tied to agriculture production and related processing — the pain has already trickled down. Businesses across a wide swath of the region have shuttered, casting countless workers adrift in a downturn that calls to mind the Dust Bowl of the 1930s.
If you will recall, there have been warnings that Dust Bowl conditions were going to return to the western half of the country for quite some time.
Now the mainstream media is finally starting to catch up.
And of course these extremely dry conditions are going to severely affect food prices. The following are 15 reasons why your food bill is going to start soaring...

MOLON LABE: Connecticut Criminalizes The Second Amendment
Gun Control: In a massive display of civil disobedience, tens of thousands of state residents have refused to register what the left calls assault weapons, instantly making them criminals guilty of a felony.
The legacy of the Connecticut residents who used their privately owned firearms to help overthrow the tyrannical colonial rule of King George III, who probably considered their muskets the military-style assault weapon of the day, apparently lives on.
Connecticuters in the tens, perhaps hundreds, of thousands have refused to comply with a law, adopted after the December 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School, requiring them to register what gun-control advocates consider assault weapons by the end of 2013.
As the Hartford Courant reports, as of Dec. 31 some 47,916 applications for assault weapons certificates had been received by state police. By some estimates, this represented as little as 15% of the rifles classified as assault weapons owned by Connecticut residents.Estimates by people in the industry, including the Newtown-based National Shooting Sports Foundation, place the number as high as 350,000.
As columnist Dan Haar notes in the Courant, this means that "as of Jan. 1, Connecticut has very likely created tens of thousands of newly minted criminals — perhaps 100,000 people, almost certainly at least 20,000 — who have broken no other laws. By owning unregistered guns defined as assault weapons, all of them are committing Class D felonies."
The AR-15 is among those that must be registered, and represents 50% to 60% of all U.S. rifle sales in recent years, federal figures show. It was the weapon used by Adam Lanza in the Newtown, Conn., shooting and by James Holmes to kill 12 people and wound 58 in a crowded movie theater in Aurora, Colo.
Many such weapons are classified as military-style assault weapons simply on the basis of their "scary" (at least to liberals) appearance.

California's Diabolical Plans to Shred the Bill of Rights
In 1976, the Brady Campaign, then known as the National Council to Control Handguns, said that the first part of its three-part plan to get handguns and handgun ammunition made "totally illegal" was to "slow down the increasing number of handguns being produced and sold in this country." This month, anti-gunners finally got that wish in California.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the law was "intended to help police investigators link shell casings found at crime scenes to a specific gun." That's pure spin, however. In reality, the law, signed in 2007 by then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, is intended to terminate semi-automatic handgun sales and, over time, semi-automatic handgun ownership in the state. "Microstamping" will solve few, if any crimes and it is only a matter of time before a proposal to expand the law to include other firearms will follow.

The Ugly Face of Tyranny: Feinstein and Other "Progressives" are Coming For Your Right To Speak Freely Online
Senator Diane Feinstein has taken up the fight for truth and liberty, just as she has done for health care and the widespread disarmament of American citizens.
This month Congess has been debating a new media shield law, which according to its authors, aims to protect journalists and bloggers from being forced to testify about their work should their sources or information come into question.
But Diane Feinstein has refused to support the bill, noting that the law would essentially grant this shield privilege to anyone who chooses to share their opinion on the internet (including those pajama sporting bloggers and news aggregators working out of their basements).
But because freedom of speech, as interpreted by Feinstein, is nothing more than a privilege granted to us by her and her ilk in Congress, she has taken steps to ensure that only those journalists sanctioned by the government will be protected by the new shield laws.
The final hurdle for the Judiciary Committee was defining who is a journalist in the digital era.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) insisted on limiting the legal protection to “real reporters” and not, she said, a 17-year-old with his own website.
“I can’t support it if everyone who has a blog has a special privilege … or if Edward Snowden were to sit down and write this stuff, he would have a privilege. I’m not going to go there,” she said.
Feinstein introduced an amendment that defines a “covered journalist” as someone who gathers and reports news for “an entity or service that disseminates news and information.”
The definition includes freelancers, part-timers and student journalists, and it permits a judge to go further and extend the protections to any “legitimate news-gathering activities.”

WHAT COULD GO WRONG? Statist Control Freaks in Senate Want to Define Who Is a Journalist
Your First Amendment rights are UNDER ATTACK!
Members of the Senate Judiciary Committee led by Chuck Schumer and Lindsey Graham have attached an amendment to Senate Bill 987, which would give the Department of Justice power to determine who qualifies for protection as a journalist under the First Amendment.
Here at the Franklin Center, we believe in the power of a free press. We already have a law to protect the press from government meddling in our newsgathering efforts and excluding Americans from the reporting process. It’s called the First Amendment.
TAKE ACTION: Join us in protecting our First Amendment rights by using #IAm1A and reminding Congress journalism is an act, not a profession.
Go to Watchdog Wire and take action now--before it's too late.

Hey, Remember the Jackass That Turned America's Military Bases into "Gun-Free Zones"?
Security: As the usual suspects call for stricter gun control, the fact remains that a gunman with two prior gun-crime arrests entered a secure military facility with a stolen ID and found no one able to shoot back.
It was Fort Hood all over again. Aaron Alexis, a gunman whose prior behavioral warning signs were ignored, opens fire in an installation belonging to the most powerful military on Earth and those who protect our nation and design our weapons are not allowed to have a weapon to defend themselves.
He was more equipped than the 12 people he killed on the base who were not permitted to carry weapons on the base, thanks to former President Bill Clinton.
In 1993 the president issued orders that barred members of the military and their civilian contractors from carrying personal firearms on base. Even officers were disarmed under the law.
Almost as soon as Clinton assumed office, in March 1993 the Army imposed regulations forbidding military personnel from carrying their personal firearms and making it almost impossible for commanders to issue firearms to soldiers in the U.S. for personal protection.
That ban extends to virtually all U.S military bases and related installations.
Under the ruling enacted by the Clinton administration, there must be "a credible and specific threat against personnel" before military personnel "may be authorized to carry firearms for personal protection."
This was the reason that the Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was able to go on a rampage for a full 10 minutes in 2009 without being stopped.
This is why, at Fort Hood, home of the heavily armed and feared 1st Cavalry Division, a civilian policewoman from off base was the one whose marksmanship ended Hasan's terrorist rampage, to this day obscenely called "workplace violence," denying survivors and the dead medals and benefits.

JUST PERFECT: Bloomberg press conference to promote gun confiscation points hundreds of firearms at reporters
Charles W. Cooke at National Review Online found this headdesk moment in the twitter feed of J. David Goodman, the NYPD police reporter for the New York Times. Goodman covered a joint NYPD press conference featuring Mayor Michael Bloomberg today that saw hundreds of guns pointed directly at the audience...
...While we hope that the NYPD had the good sense to clear each and every firearm on display, what they failed to do is as undeniable as it is unforgivable. They clearly left magazines in, with bolts closed, on numerous firearms pointing at the press...
...At least one of the guns picture above, third up from the bottom on the left, clearly has the bolt-closed and the safety off as it points towards the assembled reporters.
I've concluded there are three levels of liberal idiocy: there's stupid. There's really stupid. And there's Bloomberg stupid.

Mayor Bloomberg Celebrates Another Gun Control Success Story: Only 25 Shot, 6 Fatally in 48 Hours in NYC
Bloomberg -- the idiot mayor, not the news site -- is one of the nation's foremost and hypocritical gun control advocates. Hypocritical because, while he endlessly lobbies to take away your right to self-defense, he surrounds himself at all times with a half-dozen armed guards. Because he's more valuable than you or I, presumably.
Now Bloomberg's gun-control nirvana is quickly transforming itself into the south side of Chicago as evidenced by last weekend's spate of violence:
Mayhem in the city: 25 people shot in 48 hours
Three killed Sunday after three were killed Saturday. One of the wounded includes an 11-year-old girl who will never walk again.
Violence surged like the mercury Sunday, with three more fatalities from gun violence — and eight others wounded in shootings — bringing the total number of bullet-riddled in the city to 25 in less than 48 hours...
...Sunday’s first fatality was Ivan Martinez, 21, who was approached around 3:25 a.m. by a 20-year-old gunman and a woman at E. 139th St. near Brook Ave. in the Bronx, police said... The gunman shot Martinez once in the head and ran off with the woman.
...In the second fatal attack, a man in his 40s was gunned down during an argument in East Harlem around 1:20 p.m. The victim, who has not been identified by police, was blasted multiple times in the torso on E. 105th St. near First Ave. Less than four hours later, Damien Powell, 25, was killed after he was shot in the chest outside the Albany Houses in Crown Heights, sources and witnesses said. The victim’s mother collapsed at the scene, where shell casings littered the street, witnesses said.
Three men were wounded in the wild Brooklyn shooting that left terrified bystanders ducking for cover... “I heard maybe 20 shots,” said Guy Pierre Louis, 50, who lives on Lenox Road. “I thought it was like the Fourth of July.”
Cops are now hunting for the alleged gunman, Kevon Brown, 30, who also shot at a pair of officers during the melee, police said. He’s described as 5-foot-10, 185 pounds.
And I love the liberal scranks who blame neighboring cities for their city's homicide rate. "The guns are all coming in from neighboring cities where they're easy to obtain," they'll whine, "that's why the murder rate is so high!"
You mean those same cities that are infinitely safer than Chicago?
Yeah, those.
Man, these people are stupid.

LIBERALS SHOCKED, CONFUSED: Heavily-Armed Boston Bombers Didn't Have Gun Permits
A perplexed Associated Depress reluctantly reports:
Massachusetts police official say the brothers suspected of bombing the Boston Marathon before having shootouts with authorities didn't have gun permits.
Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert Haas tells The Associated Press in an interview Sunday that neither Tamerlan Tsarnaev (tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) nor his brother Dzhokhar had permission to carry firearms.
...he [also] says the 19-year-old Dzhokhar (joh-KHAR') would have been denied a permit because of his age. Only people 21 or older are allowed gun licenses in Massachusetts.
The suspects were also accused of hijacking a Mercedes on Thursday night.
Haas says the pair didn't release the driver, but he escaped when he was left alone while the two men entered a convenience store.
So let's pass some more gun control laws, right, progressive nitwits?

The 3 Most Dangerous Provisions of the Schumer-Toomey-Manchin Gun Grab Legislation
3 The Bill Will Lead to a Federal Gun Registry:
It would be a bad idea for Congress to give Attorney General Eric Holder the broadest possible discretion by empowering him to implement the STM background check legislation by regulations “notwithstanding any other provision” of the legislation. Perhaps the courts would say the anti-gun registry provisions prevail over the “notwithstanding” clause and there can be no step toward a gun registry, and perhaps the courts would say the “notwithstanding” clause displaces the anti-gun registry provisions and Attorney General Holder can start toward a gun registry.
The statutory rights of Americans to live free from a federal government registry of everybody who has firearms, what types of firearms they have, and where they have them should not be left to the judicial roulette of liberal judges in some courts and conservative judges in others.
2 It Eviscerates HIPAA Privacy Rights:
The STM gun control legislation eliminates any HIPAA privacy protection for mental health records in connection with the NICS system, leaving only what privacy protection the Attorney General cares to provide. The STM legislation says that information collected under the law by Attorney General Eric Holder to help him enforce the prohibition on firearms possession by mental defectives or people committed to mental institutions “shall not be subject to [HIPAA]
1 It Facilitates Undercover Busts of Innocents at Gun Shows:
Congress has made gun laws so complex that even the well-meaning, law-abiding citizen who owns firearms will have a hard time learning about and complying with every firearms law and regulation on the books. It is unreasonable to assume that every person at a gun show will automatically know that it is a crime to transfer a firearm without a necessary background check. The STM bill’s new undercover sting provision is a trap for the innocent.
Giving Attorney General Eric Holder unfettered power to further shred the Constitution is unacceptable.
This bill must be stopped.
Like Sarah Palin and Mark Levin, I will work to defeat anyone who supports this madness, starting with Pat Toomey.

FINALLY: A Proposal for a Gun Control Law That Might Have Stopped the Sandy Hook Massacre
"If your family member has a known mental illness, do not give him guns for a Christmas gift!"
The search warrants and inventories of items seized during the investigation of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting last December have just been released this morning. As it is essentially “breaking news”, a thorough analysis has not been done. However, there are a few good articles out there listing some interesting facts. Check out these three:
• Warrants Reveal Multiple Weapons in Home of Newtown Shooter
• Finally some answers about the Sandy Hook school shooting
• Newtown search warrants released
1) Active Shooters almost always carry more than one weapon and will be prepared to fight. The warrants revealed that the shooter was wearing a bullet proof vest. Did he expect the school kids to fight back? Nope. He was preparing for a confrontation with the cops...
2) His mother provided the funds for at least one of the weapons. According to the warrant, they found, "a holiday card containing a check made out to [Scumbag] for the purchase of a firearm, authored by his mother..." If your family member has a known mental illness, please do not give him guns for a Christmas gift!
3) Shooters will obsessively study past active shooting incidents in order to “improve their score”. They want infamy and a high body count. Warrants detail that they found clipped articles about past school shootings in [Scumbag]’s bedroom.
4) Shooters will create evidence detailing future plans. Investigators seized seven journals written by the shooter. Investigators wouldn’t have seized them unless they had relevance to the case. They likely contained his plans for the massacre. Be alert for such evidence. Don’t discount it or trivialize it if found. Report it to school authorities or police.
5) All of the shooting happened in a five-minute period. These things happen quickly! What is the response time for your local police department? In an urban area that is well staffed, it is likely to be 4-6 minutes before an officer will be on scene. You cannot expect the police to protect you. Statistically, the attack will be ending as police arrive. You are on your own!
The NRA was right all along. Only an armed teacher or security guard could have prevented Sandy Hook.

RED ALERT: Harry Reid's Gun Ban Bill to Include Universal Registration and Prohibit Veterans From Owning Firearms
...the number of the bill we are fighting is S. 649. Harry Reid introduced it on Thursday and brought it directly onto the Senate calendar. This means the bill can now come up at any time — probably soon after the Easter recess is over.
Second, the bill is a lot worse than even we anticipated.
We expected it to contain the Veterans Gun Ban, which would mean that you would sell, gift, or raffle a gun in America at the risk of a 15-year prison sentence because of something you didn't know about the veteran/buyer.
But, surprisingly to us, the Far Left has convinced Reid to include the original Schumer version of the Universal Registry Bill. This would ban private sales of firearms, unless purchasers first get the permission from the government. If Senators can pass this de facto registration bill, they will be well on the way to confiscation (see, for example, Governor Andrew Cuomo in New York, who has a gun owner registry and has called for gun confiscation)... If this bill is passed, Senators will claim that they “broke the back” of gun owners in America.
....as we predicted, anti-gun zealots have begun to use the "ObamaCare Paradigm" to threaten, bribe, and coerce senators into submission on the most far-reaching aspects of gun control, including Feinstein's proposal to ban shotguns, rifles and handguns that millions of Americans legally own. So if the "motion to proceed" to S. 649 is adopted with 60 votes, then Feinstein's ban could be passed in the Senate with only 50 votes (plus Biden).
Already, articles are being published to intimidate any Democratic Senator who votes against any gun control and threatening them with the prospect of facing an anti-gun primary challenger — just like we saw on ObamaCare.
ACTION: The strategy remains: We need to defeat this bill by filibustering and voting down the “motion to proceed” to S. 649. Please contact your senators and distribute this alert far and wide.
Click here to send your Senators a prewritten email message.
Show up at their offices with a delegation during the congressional recess. Rally and conduct demonstrations and call-a-thons and writing campaigns. Know that the anti-gun Left will be doing the same.
As an aside, I wonder whether anyone in the media has the slightest interest in finding out how Harry Reid -- a lifelong "public servant" -- has amassed such a huge fortune, which is likely in excess of $10 million.

Overlooked snippet from Dianne Feinstein's evasive response to Ted Cruz reveals her true agenda
When Feinstein was asked whether the First Amendment or the Fourth Amendment could similarly be limited, for instance by prohibiting certain books, the (very) senior senator from California responded not with law but with hysterics and violins.
Let me just make a couple points in response. One: I'm not a sixth-grader. Senator, I've been on this committee for 20 years. I was a mayor for nine years. I walked in and I saw people shot. I've looked at bodies that have been shot with these weapons. I've seen the bullets that implode. In Sandy Hook, youngsters were dismembered. Look, there were other weapons.
I'm not a lawyer, but in 20 years I've been up close and personal to the Constitution. I have great respect for it. This doesn't mean that weapons of war—and the Heller decision clearly points out three exceptions, two of which are pertinent here—and so I, you know, it's fine you want to lecture me on the Constitution. I appreciate it.
Just know that I've been here for a long time. I've passed on a number of bills. I've studied the Constitution myself. I am reasonably well educated... Incidentally, this does not prohibit—you use the word "prohibit"—it exempts two thousand two hundred and seventy one weapons. Isn't that enough for the people of the United States? Do they need a bazooka?
Let me repeat: the Feinstein bill "exempts two thousand two hundred and seventy one weapons. Isn't that enough for the people of the United States?"
In other words, Feinstein is banning all firearms, but then allowing us to have some, at least for now.
Which just confirms her earlier statement, around the time of the first assault weapons ban: "If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States, for an outright ban, picking up [every gun]… Mr. and Mrs. America, turn ‘em all in."
It's like the Constitution doesn't even exist for these would-be tyrants. The oath they took to uphold the nation's highest law was a joke, a prank -- the victims of which are we, the people.

THE TRANSCRIPT: Cruz vs. Feinstein on Guns
The Independent Sentinel (a member of the invaluable Watcher's Council) provides us with the transcript and some needed perspective (video here).
[Their Q&A] can only be described as a perfect example of a very legitimate and pertinent question, followed by a totally evasive and self-glorifying, political non-answer.
CRUZ: The question that I would pose to the senior senator from California is Would she deem it consistent with the Bill of Rights for Congress toengage in the same endeavor that we are contemplating doing with the Second Amendment in the context of the First or Fourth Amendment, namely, would she consider it constitutional for Congress to specify that the First Amendment shall apply only to the following books and shall not apply to the books that Congress has deemed outside the protection of the Bill of Rights? Likewise, would she think that the Fourth Amendment’s protection against searches and seizures could properly apply only to the following specified individuals and not to the individuals that Congress has deemed outside the protection of the Bill of Rights?
FEINSTEIN: I’m not a sixth grader. Senator, I’ve been on this committee for 20 years. I was a mayor for nine years. I walked in, I saw people shot. I’ve looked at bodies that have been shot with these weapons. I’ve seen the bullets that implode. In Sandy Hook, youngsters were dismembered. Look, there are other weapons. I’ve been up — I’m not a lawyer, but after 20 years I’ve been up close and personal to the Constitution. I have great respect for it. This doesn’t mean that weapons of war and the Heller decision clearly points out three exceptions, two of which are pertinent here. And so I — you know, it’s fine you want to lecture me on the Constitution. I appreciate it. Just know I’ve been here for a long time. I’ve passed on a number of bills. I’ve studied the Constitution myself. I am reasonably well educated, and I thank you for the lecture.”
Yes, Ma’am, you’re most all of the things you stated... but you didn’t answer the question...
One other very important point... [most] of the weapons you’ve listed in this legislation have been proven NOT to have been used at Sandy Hook. You are using the horrible deaths at Sandy Hook to promote a political ideology and playing on the heartstrings of Americans in the process. That’s despicable.
When a legislator is forced to use emotion and insults -- rather than the law -- it is a tacit admission that her argument is a sham.
Tell me, Ms. Feinstein: which "military-style assault weapons" used at the time of America's founding were banned by the Framers?

DIANNE FEINSTEIN HARDEST HIT: Concealed carry permit holder saves Police Officer. Again.
And, as usual, they were wrong.
The opposite happened. Violent crime decreased everywhere CCW permits were issued.
And under-publicized incidents like this happen
...East Baton Rouge Sheriff's spokesman Greg Phares says Officer Brian Harrison was escorting a funeral procession Friday when he pulled Temple over and wrote him a ticket for breaking into the procession. According to Phares, that's when Temple attacked Harrison. Police say Perry Stevens was walking outside of the Auto Zone on Greenwell Springs Road when he heard Harrison yelling for help. Harrison was reportedly on his back with Temple on top of him. That's when Stevens went to his car and grabbed his .45 caliber pistol.
According to Col. Greg Phares, "[Mr. Stevens] orders Mr. Temple to stop and get off the officer. The verbal commands are ignored and Mr. Stevens fires four shots, all of which struck Mr. Temple."
Perry Stevens fired four shots into Temple's torso. Officer Harrison had already fired one shot into Temple's abdomen. With Temple still struggling with the officer, Perry continued to advance toward the scuffle.
"He again orders Mr. Temple to stop what he was doing and get off the officer. Those commands are ignored and he fires a fifth shot and that hits his head. The incident is over with, and as you know, Mr. Temple is dead."
Police are calling the shooting death justified. Perry Stevens has a permit to carry a concealed weapon...
And isn't it strange: the areas where citizens are unconstitutionally barred from arming themselves -- like Chicago -- have become more deadly than Afghanistan.
