investigators contended that there was probable cause to believe that the Abedin/Weiner laptop contained “evidence, contraband, fruits and/or other items illegally possessed” in violation of criminal statutes dealing with the handling of sensitive “national defense” material.

Noting that the Dell laptop contained thousands of Abdein e-mails, the FBI concluded that the cache included correspondence exchanged by Abedin and Clinton and that there was probable cause to believe that those e-mails contained “classified information which was produced by and is owned by the U.S. Government.” The laptop, the FBI added, “was never authorized for the storage or transmission of classified or national defense information.”

A “complete forensic analysis” of the Dell computer, the FBI affidavit stated, would allow federal agents to “determine if classified information was accessed by unauthorized users or transferred to any unauthorized systems.”

Over 150,000 Haitians have immigrated to the northern Mexican state of Baja California in the past eight months, with many hoping to reach the United States.

El Universal reported Monday that the equivalent of 1.5 percent of Haiti’s population had immigrated to the Mexican state. Haitians receive amnesty through Temporary Protected Status and thousands who have migrated to Mexico have hoped to take advantage of this benefit or receive asylum.

SHOCKER: U.S. Deportations Fall to Lowest Level in 10 Years

Unexpectedly:

The Obama administration deported 333,341 unauthorized immigrants in the 2015 fiscal year, a decline of about 81,000 (or 20%) from the prior year, according to newly released data from the Department of Homeland Security. The number of deportations fell for the second year in a row and reached its lowest level since 2007...

...Deportations of immigrants with a criminal conviction fell 17% between fiscal 2014 and 2015, from 168,000 to 140,000. It is only the third time that the number of deportations of immigrants with a criminal conviction has fallen since at least 1981.

I have only one complaint regarding the splendid news that President-elect Donald Trump will nominate Senator Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.) to be the next attorney general of the United States: He is such a valuable legislator, he may be irreplaceable in the Senate.

For eight years, we have had not the rule of law but a Ruler of Law - the imperial president, Barack Obama, aided and abetted by his hyper-political courtiers Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch, derelict in the fundamental duty of his office to execute the laws faithfully.

OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE, CONFIRMED: FBI Finds New, Work-Related Hillary Emails on Weiner-puter

The right-wing Tea Partiers at CBS News have some more, very bad news for Hillary Clinton.

The FBI has discovered new, work-related emails that were never turned over by Secretary Clinton and Huma Abedin on the Weiner-puter.

This discovery appears to, eh, "contradict" Clinton's statement to a federal judge, Abedin's sworn testimony during a court-ordered deposition and a document the aide signed, all of which attested under penalty of perjury that they did not retain official records upon leaving the State Department.

I have no doubt -- maybe Huma didn't take a sledgehammer to her devices the way Hillary Clinton did. But this is not what resulted in the reopening of this case. No way, shape, manner, or form.

Yeah, first degree manslaughter, but in past incidents that hasn't appeased anybody. So, pop quiz. Why are the civil rights crowds and the Black Lives Matter groups and the people loyal to the Reverend Jackson, why aren't they in Oklahoma? Why aren't they raising hell in Oklahoma and why are they raising hell in North Carolina, where there isn't a racial component?

I am appalled (but not surprised) at the reaction of the left, led by President Obama and former secretary Clinton, to the Saturday-Sunday terrorist attacks on U.S. soil.  It appears that both of those luminaries did whatever they could to avoid using precise, plain language to describe the attacks and their perpetrators, cautioning against Islamophobia and racial profiling.

Leftists have proven adept at redefining many common and some technical terms while promulgating their own definitions, to the detriment of real Americans – Americans who understand commonsense definitions.

Words matter.  We on the right are losing the war of words because we won't fight.  

FORMER JUDGE: James Comey Was Determined "To Exonerate Hillary Clinton" and Shred the Rule of Law

Former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton can’t remember certain details on her emails and on many issues she remains evasive. On the other hand, for some observers, FBI director James Comey has clarified recent actions in regard to the Democrats’ presidential candidate. 

Comey released documents concerning Hillary Clinton’s emails on September 2, the afternoon before the Labor Day weekend, as Paul Ryan observed, the time when they were least likely to command attention. Comey defended the action and told reporters the FBI released the documents when they were ready. Those suggesting the FBI was being “political” or part of “some fix,” he wrote in a memo, “either don’t know us, or they are full of baloney (and maybe some of both).”

The FBI director also said that the decision not to recommend charges against Hillary Clinton was “not a cliff-hanger” and “there really wasn’t a prosecutable case.” Comey referred disparagingly to “all the chest-beating by people no longer in government.” That may be a reference to former Superior Court judge Andrew Napolitano, who described the FBI interview with Clinton as “very troubling.”

SHOCK: Clinton Email Tech Assistant Had No Security Clearance

The aide who set up former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private servers and email apparently had no security clearance, according to the findings of a congressional committee Tuesday.

Clinton aide Justin Cooper turned heads concerning the Department of State records preservation practices during a hearing before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Cooper is the same aide who also sometimes destroyed Clinton’s BlackBerry phones, “breaking them in half or hitting them with a hammer,” the FBI investigative summary report said.

Cooper was a longtime aide of former president Bill Clinton when he helped install Hillary Clinton’s system in 2008 during her first bid for the presidency.

Cooper was the only one witness of four Clinton IT aides or contractors invited to the hearing who both showed up and testified.

Bryan Pagliano, a Clinton IT aide who worked at the State Department and on the Clinton’s personal payroll, defied a congressional subpoena to appear. Bill Thornton and Paul Combetta, the Platte River Networks employees who hosted Clinton’s servers, invoked the Fifth Amendment and told the committee nothing.
