What Democrats Believe

Democrats believe that you are legally permitted to break into an empty home if you need a place to stay.

Democrats believe that stealing furniture from someone's home -- if it's in the best interest of your family -- is a legally acceptable practice.

Democrats believe that you are within your rights to crash a rich man's party if you're hungry, because he's got plenty of extra food.

Democrats believe that any person, should they require access to clean facilities like showers, toilets, and towels, must be legally permitted to break into a health club.

And because Internet access is a human right, Democrats believe that those without it are legally allowed to break into office buildings to obtain web access.

I know all this to be true.

Because Democrat politicians believe that millions of foreigners have every right to enter our home -- our sovereign republic -- to use our schools, our health care system, our roads, and our infrastructure. Democrats believe that immigration laws aren't laws at all; for, in fact, they are suing states for enforcing the very immigration laws that Congress passed!

These temporary politicians -- these useless Democrats hacks -- no longer represent the people. They represent illegal aliens, who are trespassing in our country; who are entering our land without any background checks or vetting procedures; who are driving up unemployment among citizens; who often come for free health care services or schooling or more nefarious reasons; who do not understand the history or traditions of this country; and whose presence here will ultimately Balkanize this country in ways no one can possibly foresee.

For Democrats, clinging to political power trumps the Constitution; it trumps the laws it already passed; it trumps the concerns of the citizenry; it trumps every moral and ethical tenet of this country. But their appetite for raw power is so insatiable, and it is so naked and malevolent, that they are willing to sacrifice future generations to retain their white-knuckled death grip on power.

Therefore I urge you, America's citizens, to remember the permanent damage these temporary politicians are doing to this country. I urge you to remember this the first Tuesday in November... and to obliterate the Democrat Party politically -- at every level of government.

Please make sure that you are sitting down and that you have taken your blood pressure medication before viewing this chart

Don't say I didn't warn you.

The Senate Budget Committee Republican staff under Ranking Member Jeff Sessions [R-AL] on Wednesday released this depressing chart:

Are you serious? Over 110,000,000* in the U.S. are currently receiving some form of government welfare?

..."[S]ince 2000 Medicaid has increased from 34 million people to 54 million in 2011 and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, or food stamps) from 17 million to 45 million in 2011,” according to a statement released on Wednesday by Sen. Sessions’ office... >But here’s our favorite part: “Spending on food stamps alone is projected to reach nearly $800 billion over the next decade.”...

..."These figures include not only citizens, but non-citizens as well. For instance, USDA has acknowledged a formal partnership with Mexico to boost food stamp enrollment amongst non-citizens, migrant workers and foreign nationals. In a ‘radio novela’ USDA even depicted an individual who resisted food stamp enrollment (saying her husband earned enough to take care of them) but who was successfully pressured into enrollment.

Yep. Non-citizens enrolled in the Mexico-U.S. food stamp program.

While gut-wrenching, this graph represents a perfect illustration of the Obama administration -- or should we call it the Cloward-Piven administration?

President Obama is at war with the American taxpayer... and future generations.

Pass it on. Because this madness must end in November. Or the Republic will.

Crikeys: illegal aliens released by the Obama administration have killed 19, raped 142, and committed a total of 60,000 crimes

Which is pretty much what you could have expected, because lawlessness begets lawlessness.

The Obama administration released illegal immigrants who went on to commit more crimes, including charges of 19 murders, 3 attempted murders and 142 sex crimes, the House Judiciary Committee said in a report Tuesday.

All told, the nearly 47,000 illegal immigrants the administration was notified of but declined to deport between 2008 and 2011 under its Secure Communities program had a recidivism rate of 16 percent, the committee said.

They were just part of the nearly 160,000 immigrants — most of them here legally — who were flagged by Secure Communities during the three year period but who were either not eligible to be deported or who the administration decided to release. Those immigrants went on to be charged in nearly 60,000 more crimes, according to the committee and the Congressional Research Service, which issued a report on the matter.

...In June President Obama announced yet another policy that shields most illegal immigrants age 30 and under from deportation. That policy won’t fully take effect until the middle of August, but it has already had an effect on those being deported.

As Heather Mac Donald reported in 2004, illegal immigration has been linked for decades to significant levels of violent crime.

Police commanders may not want to discuss, much less respond to, the illegal-alien crisis, but its magnitude for law enforcement is startling. Some examples:

• In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.

• A confidential California Department of Justice study reported in 1995 that 60 percent of the 20,000-strong 18th Street Gang in southern California is illegal; police officers say the proportion is actually much greater. The bloody gang collaborates with the Mexican Mafia, the dominant force in California prisons, on complex drug-distribution schemes, extortion, and drive-by assassinations, and commits an assault or robbery every day in L.A. County. The gang has grown dramatically over the last two decades by recruiting recently arrived youngsters, most of them illegal, from Central America and Mexico.

• The leadership of the Columbia Lil’ Cycos gang, which uses murder and racketeering to control the drug market around L.A.’s MacArthur Park, was about 60 percent illegal in 2002, says former assistant U.S. attorney Luis Li. Francisco Martinez, a Mexican Mafia member and an illegal alien, controlled the gang from prison, while serving time for felonious reentry following deportation.

Thanks to the Obama administration's unconstitutional implementation of the "DREAM" Act by executive fiat, you can be sure that more innocent Americans will die or suffer violent crimes.

Remember in November.

Is it just me, or is the Chicago Tribune racially profiling?

Spotted at The Chicago Tribune, which reminds us "Arrest and booking photos are provided by law enforcement officials. Arrest does not imply guilt, and criminal charges are merely accusations. A defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty and convicted."

Now, I have no idea whether these fine, upstanding folks are legal citizens or illegal aliens. Let's say, for the sake of argument, only one entered the country illegally and then injured or killed someone.

According to Eric Holder, sealing the border and protecting the citizens of the United States is somehow evil. As usual, he has it completely backwards.

Top Immigration Officials Describe Border Chaos Resulting From Obama Amnesty Policy

IN a clear violation of the Constitution's separation of powers, President Obama issued an executive order last month that implemented the DREAM Act. A law that could not pass Congress, even when Democrats held a super-majority during Obama's first two years in office, has now been legislated by executive fiat.

And, as you could have expected, lawlessness begets lawlessness:

Union heads representing thousands of America's immigration agents slammed the Obama administration Thursday over a policy they claim is forcing officials to ignore the law and allowing illegal immigrants to exploit the system...

In a startling allegation, the president of the union representing Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers claimed illegal immigrants are "taking advantage" of a new directive [which] ends up allowing illegal immigrants to avoid detention without any proof -- particularly so-called "dreamers," or those illegal immigrants who would benefit under the "DREAM Act" proposal, which Congress has not passed but the administration has partially implemented...

"Prosecutorial discretion for dreamers is solely based on the individual's claims. Our orders are if an alien says they went to high school, then let them go," he said at a press conference with GOP senators. "Officers have been told that there is no burden for the alien to prove anything. ... At this point we don't even know why DHS has criteria at all, as there is no requirement or burden to prove anything on the part of the alien...

Crane cited one case in which, he said, an immigrant facing criminal charges was let go under the policy. Further, he complained that officers are "under threat of losing their jobs" if they defy the policy.

Folks, we are seeing the civil society unravel right before our eyes. If we don't stop this madness in November, we may well have lost the Republic.

Sweet: USDA partnering with government of Mexico to dramatically boost the distribution of food stamps

This administration just keeps getting better and better:

The Mexican government has been working with the United States Department of Agriculture to increase participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), or food stamps.

USDA has an agreement with Mexico to promote American food assistance programs, including food stamps, among Mexican Americans, Mexican nationals and migrant communities in America.

“USDA and the government of Mexico have entered into a partnership to help educate eligible Mexican nationals living in the United States about available nutrition assistance,” the USDA explains in a brief paragraph on their “Reaching Low-Income Hispanics With Nutrition Assistance” web page. “Mexico will help disseminate this information through its embassy and network of approximately 50 consular offices.”

...The goal, for USDA, is to get rid of what they see as enrollment obstacles and increase access among potentially eligible populations by working with arms of the Mexican government in America. Benefits are not guaranteed or provided under the program — the purpose is outreach and education.

Some of the materials the USDA encourages the Mexican government to use to educate and promote the benefit programs are available free online for order and download. A partial list of materials include English and Spanish brochures titled “Five Easy Steps To Snap Benefits,” “How To Get Food Help — A Consumer’s Guide to FNCS Programs,” “Ending Hunger Improving Nutrition Combating Obesity,” and posters with slogans like “Food Stamps Make America Stronger.”

Oh, and if that's not enough, the USDA also provides food-stamp brochures in... wait for it... Arabic.

You can't make this s*** up.

Awesome: Mexican drug cartels training Texas teens as contract killers

Caution: links contain graphic content

In its craven quest for power, the Democrat Party has cultivated a totally lawless, open-borders philosophy. Its mission is to encourage sufficient numbers of illegals to enter the country and then to ensure they are dependent on entitlement programs (and thus Democrat largess). Their cynical endgame: to encourage vote fraud in support of Democrat candidates, plain and simple.

Suffice it to say that no other country on Earth permits this sort of open immigration. Such a policy would encourage multiple languages, Balkanization, and -- eventually -- a Yugoslav-style war. Even in this country, you can't fly from Topeka to Dayton without the electronic equivalent of a colonoscopy and a background check. Yet Democrats have encouraged tens of millions to enter the country, making a mockery of our immigration laws and the legal immigration process.

The side-effects of the Democrats' policies are as depraved and troubling as you might expect. Phoenix AZ is reported to be the kidnapping capital of the world. The bankrupt state of California spends tens of billions on incarcerating and providing medical care to illegals.

And Mexican drug cartels are laced throughout Texas, training teens as contract-killers.

Gabriel Cardona and Rosalio ‘Bart’ (as in Bart Simpson) Reta are American citizens of the border town of Laredo, Texas. They were raised in poverty and with the many problems inherent to poverty. When developing to the teenage years, they had dropped out of school and had become friends with bad influences. Seduced by the promises of easy money, faster cars and an abundance of girls, the two childhood friends soon joined the despicable cartel of Los Zetas.

This group of mercenaries and narcos trained them to kill, and the two young boys started to work as hit men. They were paid ahead of time; they lived in safe houses in upper class neighborhoods of Laredo Texas, where those hard working successful citizens were clueless that the new family in the neighborhood were teen sicarios. The teens worked a five day work week, on call, ready for the order for them to kill on both sides of the border. They were paid up to $10,000 dollars and 2 kilos of cocaine for each job, and bonuses like a 70 thousand dollar Mercedes for a well executed job.

...In April of 2006, Cardona was arrested in Texas during an operation coordinated by Roberto Garcia, a detective from Laredo. The 19 year old teenager confessed to have participated in seven murders and involved Reta, among others. Reta fled to Mexico... Cardona also confessed to have kidnapped two American teenagers, members of a rival cartel. Erupting in laugher, his mocking description of their pleas was heard by the detective as he monitored the conversation. Despite their plea, he tortured them and stabbed them until killing them with a broken bottle. In the hacked phone conversation between Cardona and Reta, Cardona describes how he collected the blood of the dying bodies in a glass and toast to the Santa Muerte (Holy Death), the female deity of death. He placed the bodies in a barrel with 55 gallons of diesel, to preparing to cook them and set them on fire...

Lest we forget, in the words of our beloved baritone DHS secretary, Janet Napolitano, the border area is "safe as it's ever been".

I've been thinking about the list of plain, uncontestable affronts to the Constitution initiated by the current administration. Vintage media, for the most part, has ignored -- or worse, applauded -- these steps.

In truth, legacy media is cheerleading for lawlessness. Because if any Republican president had attempted even one of these crimes (and they are indeed crimes), we'd have read endless page one, above-the-fold coverage in The New York Times. We'd have seen months of breathless, opening-the-broadcast special reports -- with custom "Presidential Crisis" artwork and logos -- from the likes of Brian Williams and Diane Sawyer.

Which is why I would encourage you to never read or watch vintage media. It's time to put a stop to their idiocy.

Excellent News: Would-Be D.C. Suicide Bomber Eligible for Obama DREAM Act, In-State Tuition in the State of His Choice

If we weren't actually living through this, I'd think we were reading a bad Tom Clancy novel (but I repeat myself).

As the Moroccan who plotted a suicide bombing inside the U.S. Capitol appears in federal court today, much of the mainstream media coverage omits a crucial part of the story; this is the class of illegal immigrant the Obama Administration is sparing from deportation.

That’s because, like millions of others, the would-be assassin didn’t have a criminal record and thus never posed a threat to the public, according to the feds. Like many of the illegal aliens protected by the Obama Administration the attempted bomber, 29-year-old Amine El Khalifi, came to the U.S. as a kid (“through no fault of his own” as the open borders movement says). He could have easily qualified for discounted college tuition at a number of taxpayer-funded colleges and universities nationwide.

El Khalifi lived under the radar in Alexandria Virginia while he orchestrated attacking a number of targets, including military buildings, a Washington D.C. restaurant popular among military officials and a synagogue. Last week he planned to blow up the nation’s capitol as a suicide bomber in a martyrdom operation...

Incredibly, El Khalifi is the prototype of illegal immigrant protected by Obama’s backdoor amnesty plan. Officially launched in mid-November, the initiative halts the removal of illegal aliens with no criminal records. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) reviews all deportation cases and operates a “training program” to assure that enforcement agents and prosecuting attorneys don’t remove certain types of illegal immigrants.

The idea, according to the administration, is to deport only undocumented aliens who have been convicted of serious crimes or pose a national security risk. That means a large class of illegal immigrants are being granted de facto amnesty, which is technically illegal without the consent of Congress. So far thousands have been spared removal under the outrageous initiative.

As if this weren’t bad enough, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) records indicate that serious criminals are not being targeted for removal either.

Like the rest of this lawless administration, the Department of Homeland Security's leadership has ignored a Freedom Of Information Request for two entire years, which precipitated yet another lawsuit by Judicial Watch on the part of actual United States citizens.

An Open Question for Elijah Cummings and NBC's Brian Williams

During the course of the House investigation into Operation Fast and Furious, Attorney General Eric Holder has been forced to retract two significant pieces of evidence he submitted as part of his sworn testimony.

After nearly a year of stonewalling, Holder was forced to retract a statement describing the Justice Department's knowledge of Operation Fast and Furious, which left more than 200 dead including two U.S. law enforcement agents.

And, within the last several days, he was forced to retract a sworn statement that a prior, Bush-era A.G. had been cognizant of "gun walking". That, too, was a blatant lie.

The Holder Justice Department has now retracted multiple statements from the record, admissions that it presented sworn testimony containing materially false and misleading information to Congress.

And those activities are topped off by Holder's refusal to turn over documents that likely describe his attempts to cover up the DOJ's knowledge of the operation and the almost certain involvement of the White House with it.

And so, last night, after President Obama claimed Executive Privilege to shield Holder from prosecution, NBC's Brian Williams began his late-to-the-party coverage of the murderous operation with: "If you’re not following the complexities of Fast & Furious, it looks like just more of our broken politics."

Even more disgracefully, Rep. Elijah Cummings -- the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee -- excused Holder's bloody operation and cover-up as follows: "This is a situation that could have been avoided if the Republicans could have been a little bit reasonable."

In short, Holder has repeatedly presented false and misleading information to Congress under oath regarding his operation that killed 200 or more, including U.S. law enforcement agents Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata.

My question for Cummings and Williams: Can we assume you support the Attorney General of the United States lying to Congress -- repeatedly -- without penalty?

Counter Revolution

These are the miners waiting for their last paycheck after new EPA regulations went into effect, forcing thousands of layoffs. The agency's rules are forcing "utilities across America to abandon coal as a fuel for power generation" according to Pennsylvania State Senator Tim Solobay, a Democrat.

These are some of the 2,500 Sallie Mae employees who were laid off in 2010 after the federal government took over the student loan industry. Tens of thousands of additional private sector employees also lost their jobs after the industry was nationalized.

These are the doctors who quit their profession after Obamacare prohibited them from building clinics, MRI imaging centers or hospitals. The nationalized health care bill controls one-sixth of the American economy; even if it is struck down by the Supreme Court this month, much of its damage will have already been done.

These are a few of the car dealers who were forced to close their dealerships after the federal government nationalized two auto companies using funds authorized only for bank bailouts. Abrogating bankruptcy law, the White House redistributed $26.5 billion of taxpayer funds to the auto unions, an apparent reward to their political supporters.

These are some of the laid-off construction workers at 25,000 non-unionized small businesses which were prohibited from bidding for 'Stimulus' projects and other projects by President Obama. The Association of Building Contractors says that this unprecedented step increases "construction costs between 10 percent and 20 percent and discriminate[s] against minorities, women and qualified construction workers who have traditionally been excluded from union membership."

These are a few of the 12.7 million unemployed workers, many of whom initially supported the $840 billion Stimulus program because President Obama and Congressional Democrats promised unemployment would not reach 8% if it were passed. Instead, three-and-a-half years later, official unemployment remains over 8 percent. The true unemployment figure (U-6) remains at 15 percent. The number of persons who were unemployed for more than six months remains over five million as of last month. And the labor-force participation rate continues to drop; it is now 63.6, "the lowest rate since 1981" according to CNN.

These are the "Black Panthers" who waved batons at voters during the 2008 election, "the most blatant form of voter intimidation" some civil rights experts had ever seen. Despite this, the Attorney General declined to -- or was ordered not to -- prosecute the case, raising the potential for similar incidents in successive elections. The current Justice Department is also embroiled in a series of other scandals, including its shipment of thousands of firearms to the Mexican drug cartels, its lawsuits against states attempting to enforce voter ID, and its legal actions against states attempting to enforce immigration law.

These are the leaders of two of America's staunchest historical allies -- the United Kingdom and Israel -- who have been shunned by this administration in an unprecedented series of diplomatic maneuevers. London's Daily Mail went so far as to report that, "Britain's special relationship with the U.S. is over." And the BBC recently reported that "Ties between Israel and the US are the 'worst in 35 years'."

These are the masterminds behind the attacks of September 11, 2001. They are known terrorists who were initially granted the rights of American citizens in order for the Obama administration to hold trials near Ground Zero in Manhattan. Only a subsequent firestorm of bipartisan opposition prevented that from occurring.

These are the "millions of 'green jobs'" President Obama pledged to create. Even though "Cap-and-Trade" and other energy-related laws could not pass Congress, the "EPA is now effectively legislating climate policy for the nation."

These are the illegal immigrants empowered by President Obama's extra-Constitutional power grab that effectively implements the controversial 'DREAM Act' , though it could not pass a Democrat-controlled Congress in 2009 and 2010. This act promises to speed the unchecked flow of illegals into the U.S. and is intended to ensure a permanent Democrat majority. Further, their presence promises to bankrupt a welfare state already teetering on the brink of economic calamity.

* * * * * * * * *

No federal government has damaged the American free market more than this one. No federal government has stolen more employment, more freedom, more private property -- from this and future generations -- than this one. No government has created more regulations, more unconstitutional dictates, more -- dare I say it -- slavery than this one.

Now, given all of these facts: can there be any doubt what Barack Obama meant when he twice proposed, "a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded" as our military?

The Obama-Democrat Left has mounted the first successful counter-revolution -- against the American Revolution -- in our history. Using an incessant series of attacks by a fifth column, the intent of the counter-revolution is to eradicate the effects of the American Revolution. The most magnificent society ever created hangs in the balance.

The elections in November represent our last chance to salvage the American experiment.

Marshal your parents, your children, your siblings, your neighbors, your coworkers -- marshal everyone you know, because the stakes could not be higher.

Under the Radar, Obama Undermines the USA [Dan from NY]

Dan from New York:

More and more, Obama is ruling by fiat, bypassing Congress, the Constitution and the will of the people. Read the National Review item below and click the link provided after that. Then pass the word around. This is very serious business. Obama is eating away at our Foundation, and the media has Obama’s back. We made a terrible mistake in 2008. The last chance we have to correct it is now.

National Review, June 15, 2012

Are We in Revolutionary Times?

Obama is turning out to be the most subversive chief executive in terms of eroding U.S. law since Richard Nixon.

By Victor Davis Hanson

Legally, President Obama has reiterated the principle that he can pick and choose which U.S. laws he wishes to enforce (see his decision to reverse the order of the Chrysler creditors, his decision not to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act, and his administration’s contempt for national-security confidentiality and Senate and House subpoenas to the attorney general). If one individual can decide to exempt nearly a million residents from the law — when he most certainly could not get the law amended or repealed through proper legislative or judicial action — then what can he not do? Obama is turning out to be the most subversive chief executive in terms of eroding U.S. law since Richard Nixon.

Politically, Obama calculates that some polls showing the current likely Hispanic support for him in the high 50s or low 60s would not provide enough of a margin in critical states such as Nevada, New Mexico, and Colorado, or perhaps also in Florida and Virginia, to counteract the growing slippage of the independent vote and the energy of the clinger/tea-party activists. Thus, what was not legal or advisable in 2009, 2010, or 2011, suddenly has become critical in mid-2012. No doubt free green cards will quickly lead to citizenship and a million new voters. Will it work politically? Obama must assume lots of things: that all Hispanics vote as a block in favoring exempting more illegal aliens from the law, and are without worry that the high unemployment rate hits their community among the hardest; that black voters, stung by his gay-marriage stance, will not resent what may be seen as de facto amnesty, possibly endangering his tiny (and slipping) lead in places like Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. And because polls show overwhelming resistance to non-enforcement of immigration law, Obama also figures that the minority who supports his recent action does so far more vehemently than the majority who opposes it. Time will tell; but my gut feeling is that his brazen act will enrage far more than it will delight — and for a variety of different reasons. As with all his special-interest efforts — the Keystone cancellation, war-on-women ploy, gay-marriage turnabout, and now de facto amnesty — Obama believes dividing Americans along class, ethnic, gender, and cultural lines will result in a cobbled together majority, far more preferable than a 1996 Clinton-like effort to win over the independents by forging a bipartisan consensus.

Economically, why would we formalize nearly a million new legally authorized workers when unemployment is approaching its 41st consecutive month over 8 percent — especially when Democrats used to label 5.4 percent unemployment as a “jobless recovery”? Here in California, the slowing of illegal immigration, due mostly to the fence and tough times, has led to steep wage hikes for entry-level and farm labor, and given a little more clout to Americans in so-called unskilled-labor fields. In other words, it really is true that the real beneficiaries of border enforcement are low-paid Hispanic-Americans and African-Americans who become more valued when they are not competing with virtually unlimited numbers of illegal-alien workers.

When you collate this recent act with the class-warfare rhetoric, the “punish our enemies” threats, the president’s and Eric Holder’s serial racialist statements, the huge borrowing, the national-security leaks, the takeover of health care, the push for redistributive taxes, and even the trivial appointments like a Van Jones, Anita Dunn, or Armendariz, you can fairly conclude that Obama most certainly did not like the way the United States operated for the last 30 or so years, and has tried his best, through hook or crook, to change America in ways that simply were not possible through legislative or even judicial action. Give the president credit. He has thrown down the gauntlet and essentially boasted: This is my vision of the way the new America should work — and if you don’t like it, try stopping me in November, if you dare.

###

Now watch Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell quietly, dispassionately and matter-of-factly peel the onion back on Obama’s assault on the First Amendment.

Guess Which Incident Legacy Media Is Outraged About?

Please select from what we'll call Incident A, in which an MSNBC host gleefully depicts Mitt Romney's bus exploding in a fireball of carnage; or Incident B, in which reporter Neil Munro interrupts President Obama's speech concerning his unconstitutional Executive Order implementing the DREAM Act.

If you guessed Incident A, then you must have just fallen off the turnip truck (and become a newly minted citizen, courtesy of Obama's Executive Order).

Because questioning the President regarding his outrageous, extra-Constitutional activities is racist, dont'cha know?

Rep. Allen West (R-FL) on the Obama Administration's Illegal Executive Order Implementing the DREAM Act

If this Republic can be saved, it will be men like Allen West who will be among those leading the way.

As I am writing this today, I really cannot believe that President Barack Obama and his administration have failed to grasp the three fundamental premises of our Constitutional Republic: representative democracy, limited government, and separation of powers (recognizing the maxim of co-equality of branches of the Federal Government).

I say that because Friday we received another surprise from the Obama Administration. At around 9:30 am, my BlackBerry buzzed as I was wrapping up speaking to the Palm Beach business forum. Once outside, I checked my messages to find, to my absolute amazement, that Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, would be announcing, effective immediately, that certain young people who were brought to the United States as young children (who do not present a risk to national security or public safety and meet several key criteria) will be considered for relief from removal from the country or from entering into removal proceedings.

...This is yet another example of Executive Branch overreach. We have a legislative process that ensures representative governance by the consent of the American people. This action should be crafted into legislation, debated in committee and brought before the United States House of Representatives and U.S. Senate for vote, in accordance with the process in our Constitutional Republic. Secretary Napolitano is an unelected administrative bureaucrat who does not have the right to make governing decisions for this country.

It is apparent that the goal of the Obama Administration is not to govern, but to rule by edict, or executive order, particularly as November draws near.

I do find it ironic that Secretary Napolitano would not assist our State of Florida with ensuring the integrity of the voting process, but is happy to implement a decision about who can reside in America.

Furthermore, where are the details about how the American economy is going to handle this influx of people? There are currently more than 23 million Americans who are unemployed, underemployed, or just discouraged and no longer accounted for. How will this affect the employment situation in our country, as this policy introduces new competition with Americans for jobs? Will there be any analysis of the economic impact for the American taxpayers who will have to carry this burden? What are the increased demands on additional guaranteed services and will they be guaranteed government benefits? These are the kinds of details that are to be hammered out during the legislative process, and appear to be completely overlooked by the Obama Administration.

Finally, will these young people be allowed to petition for immunity for their illegal immigrant parents as well?

Our constitutional republic was created so one branch of government could not run roughshod over another. If President Obama does not like a certain policy, he must bring the debate to the United States Congress, not attempt to impose it on the country unilaterally. If the American people, through their representative government, reject the DREAM Act, it is not within the enumerated rights of the President to then enact the policy by Executive Order. If that becomes the case, then why have a House of Representatives and a U.S. Senate? There would no longer be any separation of powers, and certainly the Executive Branch would not have any limit in exerting its power.

This decision is not just about relaxing rules or laws for young illegal immigrants, it is about the respect of the foundational principles and values of America, a Constitutional Republic. The precedent established is dangerous and the overreach threatens the fabric of our Nation.

This policy is wrong. If this Administration continues to make decisions without the consent of the governed, the governed always have the ability to rescind their consent.

Call Congress now and demand that your representatives stand up against this outrageous, unconstitutional act.

In 2011 President Obama Made the Case for His Own Impeachment Over Today's Actions

Remind me, if you would, which article of the Constitution authorizes the president to declare valid laws null and void. As CDN reminds us, President Obama himself said he did not have the power to stop deporting illegal immigrants by Executive Order as recently as last year.

President Obama’s executive order to halt the deportation of certain illegal immigrants, essentially ignoring separation of powers and legislating from the executive, is sure to be called a cynical act of “pandering” in an election year. But it is far, far worse than that.

[It is c]ompelling and conclusive video shows that the president is knowingly and willfully violating The Constitution of the United States and his Oath of Office.

President Obama at a Univision town hall in March 2011 literally says he cannot suspend deportations by executive order. He even gives an explanation about how laws are made in the United States before stating that ignoring the laws would not be an appropriate thing for him to do as president.

His exact quote: "With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through Executive Order, that's just not the case... we have three branches of government. Congress passes the law and the Executive Branch is to enforce and implement those laws... There are enough laws on the books that are very clear on how we have to enforce our immigration system -- that, for me, through Executive Order, to simply ignore those Congressional mandates -- would not conform with my appropriate role as President."

And in the current economic environment, as Kimberly Dvorak puts it, Obama is:

...pitting unemployed Americans against a critically important voting block Mr. Obama needs to ensure reelection, Hispanics. With the swipe of his Presidential pen, Obama announced that “younger illegal immigrants” are eligible for deferment on deportation and will get work visas... However, the defacto “amnesty” orders bypassed Congress, is effective immediately and will set up key immigration promises for the hotly contested presidential race... [GOP Nominee Mitt Romney said] that an Executive Order doesn’t mean it won’t be overturned.

And precisely which benefits will these newly minted demi-citizens be eligible for?

Great. 800,000 more people who won't find work in Obama's America. Are they immediately eligible for unemployment compensation and food stamps?

Bet you can't guess why Barry's doing this... Votes! He's pandering as fast as he can. There must've been a poll saying Latinos were gravtiating to Romney. So it's time to give 'em free stuff! C'mon in fellas, Uncle Sam wants unemployed Mexicans! Don't forget to move to Florida and register to vote.

And let's not forget what this means to every legal immigrant and those who are painstakingly following the process.

That's right: Obama's actions are a slap in the face to all legal immigrants.

Obama's dismissal of our nation's laws is an outrage. Congress must take action to stop his imperial and near dictatorial actions. And Democrats, too, should oppose his acts. After all, the next Republican President could have quite a set of precedents to follow.

Make it viral: the Fast and Furious ad you've been waiting for

To paraphrase our friends at The Right Scoop, make this one go viral. Here's the stop-action, story-board version:

December 2010.

U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry is gunned down along the Arizona-Mexico border.

Left at the murder scene, two assault rifles linked to Operation Fast and Furious.

Under Fast and Furious, President Obama's Justice Department puts thousands of weapons in the hands of dangerous drug cartels.

More than 1,700 guns are lost.

Many are linked to violent crimes and killings in the U.S.

And Mexico.

Including Agent Terry's murder.

Obama denies any knowledge or accountability.

And, under oath, Attorney General Eric Holder says, "I probably learned about Fast and Furious over the last few weeks."

But official memos to Holder prove that's not true.

Holder knew about Fast and Furious nearly a year before.

Under oath, Holder lied to Congress.

And whistleblowers were punished by Holder.

Obama's response? "I have complete confidence in Attorney General Holder."

But after cover-ups and denials, can Americans have confidence in Holder... or the President?

Call Congress Now: We want answers. And accountability.
