OBAMA DOJ AND FBI SPY CAMPAIGN: The New York Times Can't Even Keep Its Lies Straight

The reason The New York Times published its "Crossfire Hurricane" puff-piece yesterday is obvious to those following along. Tireless investigators like Inspector General Michael Horowitz and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes are hot on the trail of unprecedented criminality by the Obama administration.

Some careful observers have identified multiple conflicts within the Times story, which was an obvious attempt by those implicated in the scandal to leak their way to a positive spin.

THE STORM: Obama DOJ and FBI Leadership Referred for Criminal Prosecution for Clinton Email Cover-Up

As we reported earlier Thursday, a long-awaited report by the Department of Justice's internal watchdog into the Hillary Clinton email investigation has moved into its final phase, as the DOJ notified multiple subjects mentioned in the document that they can privately review it by week's end, and will have a "few days" to craft any response to criticism contained within the report, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Those invited to review the report were told they would have to sign nondisclosure agreements in order to read it, people familiar with the matter said. They are expected to have a few days to craft a response to any criticism in the report, which will then be incorporated in the final version to be released in coming weeks. -WSJ

Now, journalist Paul Sperry reports that "IG Horowitz has found "reasonable grounds" for believing there has been a violation of federal criminal law in the FBI/DOJ's handling of the Clinton investigation/s and has referred his findings of potential criminal misconduct to Huber for possible criminal prosecution."

TREASONGATE AND THE FBI "SOURCE": A Deep Dive on Stefan Halper

Open-source research points to a man named Stefan Halper as the CIA asset tasked with planting incriminating evidence of Russian "collusion" on the Trump campaign. CHILLING: It Looks Like the Obama FBI Secretly Embedded a Spy in the Trump Campaign

It's been like pulling teeth, but Devin Nunes and Trey Gowdy have finally levered the FBI into revealing the name of a "source" related to the Russian "collusion" probe. Kimberley Strassel at the Wall Street Journal has published the stunning report.

[It appears that] the FBI secretly had a person on the payroll who used his or her non-FBI credentials to interact in some capacity with the Trump campaign.

...As for Strzok and Page, the two FBI employees at the center of the Congressional investigations, the lawmakers seek the criminal referral based on the pairs “interference in the Hillary Clinton investigation regarding her use of a personal email server,” as reported.

The Department of Justice Inspector General report on the “lack of candor” by FBI deputy Director Andrew McCabe also documents for the first time the Obama administration’s effort to shut down the bureau’s investigation of the Clinton Foundation, according to a review of the report by The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group.
