DOOM ANTIDOTE FROM KEVIN DUJAN: These are the Last Days of Pompeii for the Democrat Party
During the last presidential election cycle, Hillbuzz founder Kevin DuJan was a major Hillary Clinton supporter. As the 2008 primary unfolded, he became outraged with reports of systemic cheating by Obama's hard left Chicago Machine, especially in Caucus states. His focus then turned from supporting Hillary to crushing the Marxist left.
Most recently, he has been on the frontlines of keeping conservatives focused on victory. His ongoing Doom Antidote series has been especially valuable in reminding us of the big picture.
From Kevin's lips to God's ears. Take nothing for granted, my friends. Use this time to talk to your friends, your neighbors, and your co-workers (if you're lucky enough to have a job in the ongoing Obama Depression). And if you need a cheat sheet to hand folks, here's one you can print out. It specifically hits the economic catastrophe that is the Obama record.
Most recently, he has been on the frontlines of keeping conservatives focused on victory. His ongoing Doom Antidote series has been especially valuable in reminding us of the big picture.
Evidence that Democrats are in “Last Days of Pompeii” mode
...Democrats [were certain they had solved the demographic challenge in] 2008, with Howard Dean and Donna Brazile convincing them that they could dominate the country demographically by streamlining the party into one of “blacks, urban elite, college voters, Jews, Muslims, gays, and women who want to kill their babies”. The Clintons’ Democrat Leadership Council (a “DLC”, but not the one that Barack Obama belonged to) would be purged from the party and anyone Obama saw as “bitter, clinging” would be shown the door because Donna Brazile, in particular, felt these people were no longer wanted or needed for Democrats to win. Brazile, it should be noted, is also the rocket scientist who advised Al Gore not to use the Clintons in the 2000 election when Bill wanted to be deployed to bring home Arkansas and Tennessee for Gore (two states Gore lost... which would have landed him in the White House if the Clintons had campaigned aggressively in just those TWO STATES).
...Democrats were absolute fools to believe Donna Brazile and Howard Dean back in 2008. Deciding to push Barack Obama to the presidency and give the Left absolute control over the country was a fatal error that’s going to be corrected on November 6th. [The Ministry of Truth] Minitru insists this is not happening, and continues to pretend that Democrats will hold power for many years to come. The volcano is rumbling, and these people are still lounging on couches and eating their grapes, completely oblivious to what’s going to happen in just three weeks now...
...If they’d have run Hillary Clinton in 2008, then Democrats would have cruised to her re-election this year; Obama would have most likely been her VP and he’d have spent 8 years in the Naval Observatory (most likely observing his own naval) and would have been setup to be president himself in 2016. Democrats would have likely had 12 years in the Oval Office, with Obama destined to be president no matter what (sadly). The Left wanted everything all at once, and it got just four years before the country woke up and booted them out of office (hopefully for generations).
...As bad as things are, and as much damage as Barack Obama has done as president, just imagine how much worse things could have been if Democrats had moved slowly and done things under the radar over 12 years instead of trying to cram it all into four years of Obama. Democrats got greedy and wanted Obama to do all the crazy things upfront, thinking they could overpower Americans and force radical change on the country quickly before anyone could resist them. Donna Brazile, in particular, believed that a black president was key to pushing the Left’s agenda because all criticism of him would be countered with charges of — let’s see if you can guess — RACISM so his skin color would give cover for the craziest things Democrats wanted to do.
...When the books are written on the last four years, I think it will be clear that most of what Democrats tried to shove through couldn’t have been done if the President was white…because racialist demagoguery was key to making a lot of these things happen. From 2008 through 2010 or so, it was nonstop screams of “If you don’t support Obama, you are a racist!”. Democrats who weren’t leftists (and there used to be some of these in the party) had to go along with whatever Obama wanted because they, too, would have been declared racists for not supporting him. Hence, that Christmas Eve 2009 vote for Obamacare in the Senate where not a single Democrat read the bill or understood what it would do to the country…but they all voted for it anyway. Democrats needed a black president to make that happen, because only the threat of being called racists could make all Democrats in the Senate abandon their constituents and their duties as elected officials and vote for something they never read and didn’t understand.
At the time, Democrats danced around laughing and cheering at what they had done.
They weren’t cheering when the Midterm elections happened in 2010, however.
And they won’t be cheering in three weeks either.
The days of wine, roses, and using false accusations of racism to get whatever they want are coming to an abrupt end when voters’ anger at the party erupts on November 6th.

HEY, EVERYTHING'S JUST SUPER BETWEEN THE CLINTONS AND OBAMA: At least, according to the Administration Press
Some AP propagandist-in-training named "Andrew Miga" (if that is his real name) was apparently instructed to push back against reports of open and escalating warfare between the Clintons and the White House.
Which is how piece of dreck came to be posted about an hour ago on the AP wire.
And there's no hiding the spin of an Associated Press "news" article during an election year!
When I think of Bill Clinton, I don't think of magic. I think of a convicted, impeached perjurer who sexually abused a series of women including an intern in the White House, opening himself up for blackmail, thereby putting the entire country at risk.
But this is the AP we're talking about; they'd find themselves quite at home covering Chavez, Castro and North Korea's bloated dictator, whatever the hell his name is.

Bill Clinton's back in the campaign game big time
...The Obama campaign said Saturday it was pairing Clinton with another heavyweight, rocker Bruce Springsteen, at a rally this coming Thursday in Ohio, one of the most pivotal states.
Obama himself has cracked that he should appoint Clinton "secretary of explaining stuff." ... The lighthearted tone and determined cooperation between Obama and Clinton is hard-won and may not end with the 2012 campaign.
...If Obama has Bill Clinton to thank for a second term, one way to pay back the debt could be Obama's support for a Hillary Clinton campaign of the future.
Among voters generally, Bill Clinton is more appealing than Obama. A CBS News/New York Times poll in September found 66 percent of registered voters with a favorable view of Clinton, compared with 45 percent for Obama. ... Clinton rocketed out of the party's convention in Charlotte, N.C., last month energized by the massive crowd's roaring reaction to his partly ad-libbed call to arms. Clinton plunged into a two-day swing in Florida and has since added stops for Obama in a string of political battlegrounds.
During one recent week, Clinton:
• joined Obama at a meeting with about a dozen supporters at a private residence in Los Angeles.
• hosted a fundraiser with about 160 people who bought tickets starting at $1,000.
• spoke at a rally for four northern California Democrats in tight House races.
• was in Nevada for a rally for Obama and Democratic Senate candidate Shelley Berkley.
• was at Arizona State University rally with Democratic Senate candidate Richard Carmona.
• then came stops in Iowa and Indiana for more rallies with Senate and congressional candidates as well as fundraising events.
He's expected to keep up the pace until Election Day, Nov. 6... All told, Clinton has appeared at no fewer than 32 fundraisers and 15 rallies for Obama. One big-ticket reception at a private New York City residence with Clinton last June drew 47 people who paid $40,000 apiece.
...Some Democrats fret Clinton could overshadow Obama. A Pew Research Center poll last month showed 29 percent of those surveyed said Clinton's convention speech was the highlight of the party gathering, while just 16 percent called Obama's speech the highlight.
But there's no hiding the Clinton magic during an election year.

JACK WELCH DOUBLES DOWN: Yes, the Unemployment Rate is Bogus and Here's Why, Media-Schmucks
Actually, he didn't call them "media-schmucks", but I'm sure that was just an oversight on his part:
Not to worry, Jack. Nate Silver's mathemalogical models predicted this improvement in the labor market.
Can't you just smell all of the jobs being created?
Even if the BLS had a perfect process, the context surrounding the 7.8% figure still bears serious skepticism. Consider the following:
In August, the labor-force participation rate in the U.S. dropped to 63.5%, the lowest since September 1981. By definition, fewer people in the workforce leads to better unemployment numbers. That's why the unemployment rate dropped to 8.1% in August from 8.3% in July.
Meanwhile, we're told in the BLS report that in the months of August and September, federal, state and local governments added 602,000 workers to their payrolls, the largest two-month increase in more than 20 years. And the BLS tells us that, overall, 873,000 workers were added in September, the largest one-month increase since 1983, during the booming Reagan recovery.
These three statistics—the labor-force participation rate, the growth in government workers, and overall job growth, all multidecade records achieved over the past two months—have to raise some eyebrows. There were no economists, liberal or conservative, predicting that unemployment in September would drop below 8%.
Not to worry, Jack. Nate Silver's mathemalogical models predicted this improvement in the labor market.
Can't you just smell all of the jobs being created?

Suffolk Pulls Out of FL, NC, VA -- Says Romney's Edge Too Large; Nate Silver's Arithmetronic Models Hardest Hit
Don't do the happy dance yet, but this appears to be a promising development.
That said, The New York Times'spinmeister pollster Nate Silver still has President Obama up in Virginia by a margin of six-hundred-teen percent; in North Carolina by eleventy; and in Florida by 7.389062145 (with a margin of error of 3/1000th of a binnacle).
As an aside, I tried to reach Taegan Goddard, Paul Krugman and Sandra Bernard (sic) for comment, but I kept getting voicemail.

Suffolk Calls NC, VA, FL For Romney, Will No Longer Poll States
Suffolk University pollster David Paleologos, whose polls are aggregated into mainstream averages to show where the presidential race stands in the swing states, said he’s finished polling in Florida, North Carolina and Virginia because President Obama has no shot of winning those states.
“I think in places like North Carolina, Virginia and Florida, we’ve already painted those red, we’re not polling any of those states again,” Paleologos said Tuesday night on Fox’s “The O’Reilly Factor.” “We’re focusing on the remaining states.”
Mitt Romney has spiked in the national polls since his first debate last week against President Obama. Romney took the lead over Obama nationally for the first time all year on Tuesday, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls, although statistically the two are tied. Romney’s advantage is less than 1 percentage point.
The race has also tightened in the 12 swing states — Florida, North Carolina and Virginia among them — that President Bush won in 2004 but Obama won in 2008, and which will be critical in determining the outcome of the election.

HMMMMMMMMM: 47 Percent.
Spotted on Teri's Twitter feed (@SoCalGirl):
CBS has the latest Gallup poll data, but suffice it to say that Nate Silver's latest models show a more troubling trend for Romney:
Silver's models also predicted with a high degree of accuracy that I will be eating at Arby's tomorrow.

THE BIG ISSUES: Obama Campaign Beclowns Itself With Big Bird Video

LARA LOGAN: The Obama Administration Has Been Lying to You for Two Years About the Middle East
More confirming evidence from one of the bravest reporters you'll ever meet, Lara Logan of ABC CBS News.
Isn't it interesting that among the very few vintage media journalists willing to speak truth to power are strong female role models like Lara Logan and Sharyl Attkisson?
To paraphrase American Glob, if Logan gave Brian Ross one of her balls, they'd both have two.
Eleven years later, “they” still hate us, now more than ever, Logan told the crowd. The Taliban and al-Qaida have not been vanquished, she added. They’re coming back.
“I chose this subject because, one, I can’t stand, that there is a major lie being propagated . . .” Logan declared in her native South African accent.
The lie is that America’s military might has tamed the Taliban.
“There is this narrative coming out of Washington for the last two years,” Logan said. It is driven in part by “Taliban apologists,” who claim “they are just the poor moderate, gentler, kinder Taliban,” she added sarcastically. “It’s such nonsense!”
Logan stepped way out of the “objective,” journalistic role. The audience was riveted as she told of plowing through reams of documents, and interviewing John Allen, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan; Afghan President Hamid Karzai, and a Taliban commander trained by al-Qaida. The Taliban and al-Qaida are teaming up and recruiting new terrorists to do us deadly harm, she reports.
She made a passionate case that our government is downplaying the strength of our enemies in Afghanistan and Pakistan, as a rationale of getting us out of the longest war. We have been lulled into believing that the perils are in the past: “You’re not listening to what the people who are fighting you say about this fight. In your arrogance, you think you write the script.”

Would Obama and the Democrats have cared more if it had been Big Bird who'd been raped and murdered in Benghazi?
I only ask because Big Bird (who is wealthier than Mitt Romney) appears to have become some kind of cause celebre among the denizens of the Left, who can't seem to find anything to cut from the bloated central government in Washington.
At the same time, Obama and the left are curiously silent about the rape and murder of our Ambassador to Libya:
While the usual suspects blather on about a fake issue, the Obama administration continues to cover up what really happened in Benghazi and why it issued a series of fabrications to the American people in the aftermath of the attacks.
At the same time, Obama and the left are curiously silent about the rape and murder of our Ambassador to Libya:
According to the Arabic website, Tayyar:
...the American ambassador in Libya [Christopher Stevens] was sexually raped before being killed by the gunmen who stormed the embassy building in Benghazi last night [Tuesday, September 11], in protestation of a film insulting to the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings upon him.
Then there is this picture, rarely shown on the MSM. Perhaps he is being rescued from the jihadis, but why, exactly, are his pants down?
The al-Qaeda affiliated men who sexually abused and killed Gaddafi are the same sort of men who sexually abused and killed America’s ambassador. We were told that the late Libyan dictator was killed because he was an evil oppressor of his people. Why was the American ambassador killed, who had hailed the revolution and was there helping to “build a better Libya“?
These are the questions the media and the Obama administration need to be answering...

By the beard of Zeus, CNN has beclowned itself during this election cycle
Dave forwards a note he sent to CNN about this piece of drek disguised as a news article:
Don't hold your breath waiting for an answer, Dave. Unless you're being driven around Martha's Vineyard by a member of the Kennedy clan.
There are several errors of omission and comission in this piece:
• The headline on the main page reads "Right-wing media coordinate release of old Obama video". I'm wondering: was the headline for the infamous secret Romney tape "Left-wing media coordinate release of old Romney tape"?
• The full tape had never been released. In fact, only 9 minutes of the 40 minute speech had ever been seen publicly before this story broke. There are also a variety of inflammatory remarks by Obama that had before been reported (stealing from the suburbs to give to the cities; praise for the virulent anti-semite Rev. Wright, who he had just repudiated; etc.).
I would appreciate your perspective on this obviously biased article and headline.
Dave

SETTING BACK RACE RELATIONS 40 YEARS: Tape Released by Daily Caller Reveals Obama Channeling Jeremiah Wright
Who is the real Barack Obama? Thanks to a tape -- long concealed by old media, it would appear -- I think we can now say with certainty. He is a divisive, hard-left ideologue who is living in the sixties.
I will say one thing for him: if there's a way to divide people, whether by income, race, religion, gender, ethnicity, industry, or anything else you can care to name, Obama will find it.
In a video obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama tells an audience of black ministers, including the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, that the U.S. government shortchanged Hurricane Katrina victims because of racism.
“The people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much!” Obama shouts in the video, which was shot in June of 2007 at Hampton University in Virginia. By contrast, survivors of Sept. 11 and Hurricane Andrew received generous amounts of aid, Obama explains. The reason? Unlike residents of majority-black New Orleans, the federal government considers those victims “part of the American family.”
The racially charged and at times angry speech undermines Obama’s carefully-crafted image as a leader eager to build bridges between ethnic groups. For nearly 40 minutes, using an accent he almost never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America. The mostly black audience shouts in agreement. The effect is closer to an Al Sharpton rally than a conventional campaign event.
I will say one thing for him: if there's a way to divide people, whether by income, race, religion, gender, ethnicity, industry, or anything else you can care to name, Obama will find it.

MEXICAN STREETS RUN RED WITH THE BLOOD OF CHILDREN: Holder Lies to Congress; Obama Covers Up; U.S. Media Ignores the Slaughter
Thanks to the Spanish language network Univision, we now have a more complete picture of Operation Fast and Furious, the ill-fated gun-running operation orchestrated by Attorney General Eric Holder. The A.G., of course, was found in Contempt of Congress for stonewalling a House of Representatives investigation. And President Obama claimed "executive privilege" as an obvious attempt to cover up Holder's culpability.
In the mean time, Mexico's government has put Holder's death toll at over 200 dead, not to mention U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, who was killed by Mexican drug smugglers armed by Holder's Justice Department.
But the media -- with the exception of a few dogged reporters -- has largely ignored a story a dozen times bigger than Watergate. In fact, the Univision network has conducted the first substantial investigation of Fast and Furious and the slaughter of hundreds that resulted:
And Eric Holder dares to claim ignorance of the entire operation. Plainly, that's impossible for a program of this magnitude.
Furthermore, Fast and Furious was designated as an OCDETF operation (Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force), which required the highest level of cooperation between 94 U.S. Attorney's Offices, the DOJ, the ATF, the FBI, the DEA, the IRS, the U.S. Coast Guard, ICE, and the U.S. Marshal's Service.
As OCDETF, it is impossible to believe that Eric Holder did not have knowledge of the operation.
Mitt Romney should mention Holder's malfeasance every chance he gets. Holder is a disgrace and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But, given his corrupt Justice Department, it will require a new president.
Mexico's streets are running red with blood of children; Eric Holder's response is to stonewall Congress and cover up. And Barack Obama is doing his level best to shield Holder from prosecution by claiming "executive privilege", which plainly does not cover obvious wrongdoing as is the case here.
And our disgusting, corrupt, state-run media has nothing to say about this slaughter. Kudos to Univision for doing the work American media used to do, in a time long ago and a place far away.

But the media -- with the exception of a few dogged reporters -- has largely ignored a story a dozen times bigger than Watergate. In fact, the Univision network has conducted the first substantial investigation of Fast and Furious and the slaughter of hundreds that resulted:
On January 30, 2010, a commando [team] of at least 20 hit men parked themselves outside a birthday party of high school and college students in Villas de Salvarcar, Ciudad Juarez. Near midnight, the assassins, later identified as hired guns for the Mexican cartel La Linea, broke into a one-story house and opened fire on a gathering of nearly 60 teenagers...
...Outside, lookouts gunned down a screaming neighbor and several students who had managed to escape. Fourteen young men and women were killed, and 12 more were wounded before the hit men finally fled.
...the United States government played a role in the massacre by supplying some of the firearms used by the cartel murderers. Three of the high caliber weapons fired that night in Villas de Salvarcar were linked to a gun tracing operation run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), according to a Mexican army document obtained exclusively by Univision News.
...Univision News identified a total of 57 more previously unreported firearms that were bought by straw purchasers monitored by ATF during Operation Fast and Furious, and then recovered in Mexico in sites related to murders, kidnappings, and at least one other massacre...
As part of Operation Fast and Furious, ATF allowed 1,961 guns to "walk" out of the U.S. in an effort to identify the high profile cartel leaders who received them. The agency eventually lost track of the weapons, and they often ended up in the hands of Mexican hit men , including those who ordered and carried out the attack on Salvarcar and El Aliviane, a rehabilitation center in Ciudad Juarez where 18 young men were killed on September 2, 2009.
...Following the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry at the hands of Mexican bandits on December 14, 2010, media and Congressional investigations prompted hearings. On September 20, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General report, which opened the door for sanctions of 14 ATF and DOJ officials...
...In Washington, the Fast and Furious scandal became politicized, diverting the attention from the human cost in Mexico to political battles on Capitol Hill. In June, a vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt ignored the real tragedy in Mexico.
"Americans are not often moved by the pain of those outside [their country]…" Javier Sicilia, a Mexican poet whose son was killed in the midst of the violence, told Univision News. "But they are moved by the pain of their own. Well, turn around and watch the massacres..."
...Other firearms under ATF surveillance were permitted to leave the country from Texas, according to court documents and the exclusive testimony of Magdalena Avila Villalobos, the sister of an ICE agent who survived a confrontation with cartel hit men on a rural highway in Mexico on February 15, 2011. His fellow agent, Jaime Zapata, was killed during the attacks...
... "It's not from Arizona and Fast and Furious," Avila Villalobos told Univision News, speaking in her brother's stead for the first time, "but it's a very similar operation..." She later added, "Those weapons that have been recovered, it's been confirmed that they were weapons used in the shootout that killed Jaime Zapata and wounded Victor Avila." ...
The Texas-based operation and the firearms linked to the attack were bought by two trafficking rings in the state, according to Raymond Thomas, the Zapata family's lawyer...
Earlier this year, Texas Senator John Cornyn had echoed Thomas' assertions . Moreover, on September 25, Congressman Darrell Issa and Senator Charles Grassley, the politicians behind the Fast and Furious congressional report released in July, sent a letter to the Department of Justice's Office of the Inspector General, requesting an investigation into Avila's and Zapata's case...
And Eric Holder dares to claim ignorance of the entire operation. Plainly, that's impossible for a program of this magnitude.

KEYSTONE KOMRADES: Obama aides contradict each other on Sunday talk shows as the Benghazi-gate cover-up unravels
Writing at American Power, Donald Douglas observes that White House adviser David Plouffe blatantly lied while discussing Benghazi-gate on Meet the Press:
So Plouffe was flat-out lying (quite the shocker, I know). But in what is becoming a pattern for this administration, the various handlers can't keep their cover-up stories straight.
On CNN, Obama adviser David Axelrod plainly contradicted Plouffe and left Ambassador Susan Rice out to dry.
To put it bluntly, President Obama's key advisers are contradicting each other as the Benghazi-gate cover-up continues to unravel and even antique media is forced to cover it. This story, according to veteran observers familiar with both, is bigger than Watergate. An Ambassador and three other American diplomatic personnel are dead.
And every story the administration has told the American people about the terror attack was false.
Plouffe argued that Ambassador Susan Rice was relying on extant intelligence reports in her Sunday comments on September 16th, discussed here.
He's lying.
[At The Daily Beast,] Eli Lake reported that intelligence agencies knew it was a terrorist attack within hours, "U.S. Officials Knew Libya Attacks Were Work of Al Qaeda Affiliates." And see Twitchy, "David Plouffe: ‘Libya wasn’t intel failure,’ canoodling after terrorist attack is hunky-dory; Media enables lies"... The video is here.
So Plouffe was flat-out lying (quite the shocker, I know). But in what is becoming a pattern for this administration, the various handlers can't keep their cover-up stories straight.
On CNN, Obama adviser David Axelrod plainly contradicted Plouffe and left Ambassador Susan Rice out to dry.
...when the host asked a similar question, Axelrod said, “Well, first of all, Candy, as you know, the President called it an act of terror the day after it happened, But when you're the responsible party, when you're the administration and you have a responsibility to act on what you know and what the intelligence community believes. This is being thoroughly investigated because we need to bring to justice.”

POLLING PROPAGANDISTS: The Walter Shapiro, Taegan Goddard and Doug Mataconis Edition
Some hack named Walter Shapiro, using the time-tested approach of quoting "anonymous" GOP operatives, suggests that the Romney-Ryan campaign is losing Ohio and doing so in spectacular fashion. Check out this bit of nonsense, the rock-hard kernel of stupidity at the heart of the story.
Never mind that the most accurate poll -- Rasmussen's -- has the Ohio race locked in a virtual tie. Shapiro's absurd "reporting" was eagerly marketed by the usual propagandists -- including Taegan Goddard and Doug Mataconis -- as pure gospel.
Now stop and consider just how deranged your thought processes have to be in order to believe this rubbish:
• Tea Party: you have to believe that the Tea Party never organized or simply disappeared into thin air
• The Debt: you have to believe that Obama's act of adding $6 trillion -- 60 percent -- to the national debt, which has resulted in the country's first credit downgrade, is wildly popular
• Unemployment: you have to believe that Obama's horrific unemployment record is a winning one
• 2010: you have to believe that the 2010 tidal wave election never happened
• Obamacare: you have to believe that spiking health care premiums and a huge number of employers who are dropping coverage have somehow transformed the Statists' health care takeover into a program beloved by the citizenry
• Foreign Policy: you have to believe that Obama's bizarre handling of the Middle East, now aflame, is popular
• Energy: you have to believe that Obama's war on coal -- a critical state industry -- is supported by the majority of Ohioans
• Illegal Immigration: you have to believe that Ohioans embrace illegal immigration and Obama's extra-Constitutional executive orders implementing the DREAM Act
• Obama himself: you have to believe that the known quantity -- a narcissistic, hyper-partisan,, hard Left demagogue -- is more popular now than the unknown candidate marketed by media as some sort of messianic, post-partisan cult figure
If you believe any one of these things, it's possible you have some sort of neurological deficiency. And if you believe all of them, you might be a hapless propagandist named Walter Shapiro, Taegan Goddard or Doug Mataconis.

The polls completely missed the 2010 landslide. And the polls have no freaking clue just how pissed off the American people are.
Maybe Romney isn’t down by 10 points, they argue, but the GOP presidential nominee seems destined to lose by a solid 5 points – and in closely divided Ohio that represents a loss of nearly landslide proportions. (That would mean that Obama would slightly improve his 2008 victory margin against John McCain.)
