WHERE THE HELL IS CHRIS CHRISTIE? Single Black Mom Faces Unconstitutional Gun Prosecution in New Jersey

By Investor's Business Daily

Second Amendment: An African-American single mom on her way to a birthday party for one of her kids faces 10 years in prison for straying into the Garden State carrying a firearm in her purse licensed in Pennsylvania.

Shaneen Allen is less well-known than Michael Brown, the man shot by police in Ferguson, Mo., and it's doubtful Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton will pay her a visit anytime soon. They're busy elsewhere. A mother exercising her Second Amendment right not only to keep but to bear arms to protect her family is of little interest to them.

Allen is a resident of Pennsylvania and has a Pennsylvania right to her permit. In October 2013, she was pulled over by New Jersey state troopers for an "unsafe lane change."

When one trooper approached and asked for her identification, she remembered she had left her newly acquired firearm in her purse, which can happen to a single mom who works more than one job and leaves her home at odd times of the day.

She had obtained the firearm after two robberies raised her concern for her and her family's safety.

She was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm because she didn't realize that New Jersey is one of 20 states that does not recognize Pennsylvania's permit. Ignorance of this law is apparently no excuse for New Jersey authorities failing to see that here was someone who obtained a firearm to prevent crime and not to commit one.

"I got pulled over by the police," Allen told Fox News' Martha MacCallum last week.

"I really didn't even think about, you know, the firearm being in my purse at the time until he asked for my credentials. When I went in my purse, before I went to get my credentials, I saw my firearm laying there. So, I let them know, you know, I had my license to carry on me, and I had my firearm in my purse.

"As I let them know that, you know, that's when they started to, you know, lock me up and told me to step out of the vehicle and put cuffs on me."

Prosecutor Jim McClain, under New Jersey law, could have essentially given Allen a warning and a pass, treating it merely as a misdemeanor and sending her to municipal court or letting her enroll in one of the diversionary programs that New Jersey has established for peaceful first-time offenders.

Yet he chose not to, and the unanswered question is: Why not?

ROSEMARY LEHMBERG COMIX: Heroic D.A. stars in "The New Math"

Travis County, Texas District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg stars in our summer intern @BiffSpackle's latest work:

Contributor Beth over at Change.org describes just how out of control this drunken maniac really was.

Resident Mark Weston called deputies at about 10:45 p.m. after seeing a 2001 Lexus swerving in and out of a bike lane for about one mile on the southbound side of FM 620 near RM 2222... As Lehmberg’s driving became more erratic, Weston grew concerned and called 911.

He told deputies he observed the Lexus drive into oncoming traffic while approaching Comanche Trail. The Lexus then pulled to the side of the road in front of St. Luke’s Church near the 5600 block of FM 620.

Deputies arrived and discovered the suspect—Lehmberg—in possession of an open container of vodka in the passenger seat...

...Lehmberg was transported to the Traivs County Jail for booking. At the booking station, Lehmberg was highly combative, attempting to kick and spit at officers, screaming curse words as well as yelling “Call Greg!”, likely a reference to Sheriff Greg Hamilton. She was placed in an isolation room but continued to be physically belligerent. She was removed from the isolation room and strapped to a restraint chair. A spit restraint was fastened to Lehmberg’s face. She was then placed back in the isolation room. She was so belligerent that the magistrate judge refused to magistrate her until she calmed down...

...Lehmberg's blood alcohol content was reportedly 0.23 -- nearly three times the legal limit of 0.08, which automatically upgrades the charge from a Class B misdemeanor, to a Class A misdemeanor (since the BAC was over .15)...

Lehmberg, of course, did not step down and instead may have inspired a politically motivated attack against Gov. Rick Perry for demanding that she step down from her post.

Climate Kook Michael Mann vs. Mark Steyn: "If This Trial Ever Goes Ahead, Global Warming Is Toast"

A while back, the flabby propagandist and "climate scientist" Michael Mann sued columnist Mark Steyn for "defamation". Mann was a no-name scientist who shot to stardom in 1998 with his publication of the "global warming hockey stick" that showed dramatic, catastrophic global warming in the out-years of the 20th century.

Because his work validated the claims of the eco-Marxists, Mann gained instant stardom in the halls of government and academia. He received tenure at Penn State -- perhaps along with Jerry Sandusky (heh) -- received millions in federal funding for "research", and was cited as an "expert" by The New York Times and other left-wing propaganda outlets. Al Gore used the hockey stick in his hysterical film on the impending climate catastrophe. The UN's climate scam panel leveraged it no fewer than five (5) times in its reports and elevated Mann to lead author status.

James Delingpole of London's Spectator introduces the gist of the Mann vs. Steyn lawsuit.

But the hockey stick, on which Mann’s reputation largely rests, was and is a nonsense...

I, For One, Welcome Our New Insect Overlords

Life mimics The Simpsons*:

A spider has photobombed BBC Scotland's news to capture an insect trapped on a camera showing live shots of the River Clyde in Glasgow.

The "webcast" came as Graham Stewart was presenting one of Reporting Scotland's early morning bulletins. The spider then retreated with its prey.

*Simpsons anchorman Kent Brockman sold out the entire human race on one of his newscasts after seeing an ant crawl across a camera in the space shuttle and then assuming it heralded an invasion by giant ants bent on world domination.

Fearing for his life, he announces his willingness to submit to the imagined invaders.

“One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the ants will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new insect overlords. I’d like to remind them that as a trusted TV personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.”

5 Quotes That Capture the Spirit of the Day

Selected by our summer intern, Biff Spackle (@BiffSpackle):

Timothy H. Lee:

After inheriting a stabilizing Iraq in the aftermath of a Bush Administration troop surge (which Obama claimed in 2007 couldn't succeed), Obama's decisions have resulted in today's ghoulish genocide and deepening chaos. Per habit, therefore, he now reverts to scapegoating others and pleading that he's little more than a helpless bystander to inconvenient world events. This from a man who in 2011 practically claimed to have fired the shot that felled Osama bin Laden.

David A. Lieb:

The unarmed teenager whose fatal shooting by police ignited days of heated protests in suburban St. Louis was suspected of stealing cigars and pushing a clerk at a nearby convenience store earlier that day, police said Friday... [Michael] Brown and his friend, Dorian Johnson, were suspected of taking a box of cigars from a store in Ferguson that morning. Jackson said Wilson, along with other officers, was called to the area after a 911 call reporting a "strong-arm" robbery just before noon.

Lachlan Markay:

The top Democrat in the House of Representatives [Nancy Pelosi] steered more than a billion dollars in subsidies to a light rail project that benefitted a company run by a high-dollar Democratic donor and in which her husband is a major investor... Pelosi’s tireless advocacy for federal support for San Francisco’s light rail system has come under scrutiny for potentially enriching another liberal billionaire, hedge fund manager Tom Steyer.

Jeffrey Lord:

What are Americans seeing here? What do the rise of ISIS in Iraq, the return of the squeegee men in New York, the murder numbers out of Chicago, the endless stories on health care losses, IRS bureaucrat Lois Lerner — what do all of these events have in common?

This is the fulfillment of the liberal worldview crashing in on itself. A view of utopia — all of it. Every last bit of it. It was never real — it could never be real.

Jim Treacher:

You think you’ve got problems? Put yourself in President Barack Obama’s shoes for a minute: Everybody’s mean to you, bad stuff keeps happening even though none of it is your fault, and you never get to do anything you want to do. It seriously sucks, dude! ... Has any other president in American history ever endured such suffering? That’s a rhetorical question. Of course not.

SORRY, PROGRESSIVES: Not All Viewpoints are Equally Valid

By Oleg Atbashian. First published in The American Thinker

There is a reason why the question below, from a Hong Kong elementary school test, is making the rounds on the internet. Most adults can't solve it – not for want of math skills, but because most of them have lost the child's ability of unconventional thinking. Instead, they have acquired the debilitating unwillingness to try a different perspective.

The answer to the problem is provided at the bottom, but before you give up, here are some clues.

This problem is not mathematical, but rather philosophical. It proves that, in spite of what the modern "progressive" philosophers tell us, not all viewpoints are equally valid; in most cases, there is only one point of view that leads to the right answer.

This may cause objections from proponents of moral relativity, who believe that everyone's viewpoint is correct in its own way. Moral relativity is merely a nice-sounding cover for intellectual laziness; it relieves one of guilt for not trying to find the right solution. It's a lot easier to presume that one's viewpoint is always correct: wherever one happens to be at any given moment, that must be the correct position. By this logic, any position one had yesterday or will have tomorrow must also be correct. Therefore, all such positions must be equally valid, and anyone else's conflicting positions at different points of time must be equally valid, too. This is a way to madness.

CNN: Nobel Peace Prize Winner Obama "Powerless" to Deal With the World Chaos His Policies Have Sown

CNN -- yep, it's still in business -- says that Obama's multiple policy failures on every front are not his fault.

As we head closer to the November elections it’s clear that Obama’s continued massive foreign policy implosion is already having a deleterious effect on Democrat’s hopes, and unless there’s a sudden blossoming of Middle East peace, it will probably increase going forward...
This morning on CNN's Inside Politics, Politico's Manu Raju said that the president seems "powerless" to deal with the chaos in the world, which is "putting the Senate at risk" for the Democrats.

Gee, who could have predicted that a back-bencher state senator -- weaned on the philosophies of Marx and Alinsky and with literally zero executive experience -- would be an utter and complete disaster?

Oh, wait: several of us did, back in the summer of 2008.

NYT: Fear of "Another Benghazi" Political Debacle, Not Genocide, Drove Obama to Call For ISIS Airstrikes

The New York Times reports that it was not genocide in Iraq, it was not a humanitarian catastrophe, it was not to protect human lives that forced Obama's hand in ordering airstrikes against ISIS; it was all about politics.

On Wednesday evening, moments after finishing a summit meeting with African leaders at the State Department, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff delivered a stark message to President Obama as they rode back to the White House in Mr. Obama’s limousine.

The Kurdish capital, Erbil, once an island of pro-American tranquillity, was in the path of rampaging Sunni militants, the chairman, Gen. Martin E. Dempsey, told the president. And to the west, the militants had trapped thousands of members of Iraqi minority groups on a barren mountaintop, with dwindling supplies, raising concerns about a potential genocide.

With American diplomats and business people in Erbil suddenly at risk, at the American Consulate and elsewhere, Mr. Obama began a series of intensive deliberations that resulted, only a day later, in his authorizing airstrikes on the militants, as well as humanitarian airdrops of food and water to the besieged Iraqis.

Looming over that discussion, and the decision to return the United States to a war Mr. Obama had built his political career disparaging, was the specter of an earlier tragedy: the September 2012 attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, which killed four Americans, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, and has become a potent symbol of weakness for critics of the president...

...As the tension mounted in Washington, a parallel drama was playing out in Erbil. Kurdish forces who had been fighting the militants in three nearby Christian villages abruptly fell back toward the gates of the city, fanning fears that the city might soon fall. By Thursday morning, people were thronging the airport, desperate for flights out of town.

“The situation near Erbil was becoming more dire than anyone expected,” said a senior administration official, speaking on the condition of anonymity to describe the White House’s internal deliberations. “We didn’t want another Benghazi.”

I'd encourage you read the entire article to get a sense of how feckless, incompetent and ideologically twisted this administration is.

As usual, it would appear that Michelle and co-President Valerie Jarrett helped make the decision to act.

Laced throughout the story is the party line among Democrats, which is the following sandwich of sheer, unvarnished idiocy:

HOLY SHNIKEYS: ESPN Contributes $6 to the Average Cable Bill, Whether You Watch it or Not

In an era of consumer choice and pricing transparency, cable companies and telcos offer neither. You want to pick your own channels? F*** you. You want to create your own bundles of services? F*** you.

The cable companies and telcos are the last vestiges of Ma Bell, the government-sponsored monopoly; and they are clinging to their monopolistic power by their fingernails. They take massive amounts of cash and slather it over K Street like butter on Michael Moore's waffles. Which is why they routinely receive the worst customer service ratings imaginable.

Consider Exhibit 1,029:

TV programming is a main driver of cost in your cable bill—and the price for both is going up.

...Cable and satellite providers such as Comcast, Time Warner Cable or DirecTV pay networks like ESPN and TNT a certain amount per customer for programming each month.

The wholesale cost per network is expected to increase 36% by 2018 according to media-research firm SNL Kagan estimates. Cable providers currently pay a total of $28.32 for a few dozen channels, depending on the provider and the cable package, with ESPN taking over $6 of that. Meanwhile median price paid for each channel a subscriber gets is 14 cents. ESPN is estimated to cost $8.37 per month in 2018, an increase of 39%... Despite the rise in programming costs, which cut into its cable TV margins, cable companies continue to generate healthy profits by bundling TV with phone and broadband, a high-margin product. Cable companies also add in ancillary fees on bills like equipment charges.

Interestingly enough, this issue relates directly to net neutrality. Net neutrality isn't a conservative or progressive issue: it's a liberty issue. Should a few monopolies control your access to content or not? Net neutrality says they shouldn't be able to discriminate, period.

If we had actual competition in Internet or cable access, net neutrality's opponents would have a point. But the corporatist oligarchy -- a handful of cable- and telco companies -- spends enormous amounts of money and influence assiduously avoiding competition.

In 2006, Daniel Berninger wrote one of the best summaries of net neutrality I've read:

OLD MEDIA: Ignorant or Racist?

By Richard Larsen

There are only two possible explanations for the anti-Semitic statements, tweets, demonstrations, and promulgations of the past few weeks after Israel began defending herself from the onslaught of missiles from the Hamas-held Gaza Strip; sheer ignorance or blatant racism. In some cases it could perhaps be a combination of both. Much of the culpability for the biased representation of the conflict in Gaza rests directly on the shoulders of the mainstream media who should know better.

The rationalized justification for the latest attacks on Israel traces back to an incident in June when three Israeli teenaged seminary students (one of whom was an American) were kidnapped, and subsequently killed, while hitchhiking in the West Bank. They disappeared on June 12 and their bodies were discovered eighteen days later in a field near Hebron. Hamas was blamed for the abductions and murders, and the night the bodies were discovered, the terrorist group began launching missiles into the heart of Israel. Nearly 1,000 missiles have been launched by Hamas against Israel since that fateful night, and Israel has responded by destroying the tunnels used by Hamas to infiltrate Israel, and by targeting the group’s missile and munitions storage sites, which are often strategically placed in schools, hospitals, mosques, and residential areas.

Clearly, Israel is fighting for her very existence, and fighting back against those who attack her. Self-defense is a natural human right, and the first responsibility of a nation to protect its citizenry. Yet in spite of these verities, Israelis are vilified for fighting back and refusing to turn the other cheek.

Mia Farrow has been posting pro-Palestinian comments over the past several days on Twitter, including, “What is Israel’s long-term plan for Gaza? They can’t kill everyone.” Madonna posted a photo with the comment, “These flowers are like the innocent children of GAZA! Who has a right to destroy them? No One!!!! CEASE FIRE!” Dozens of celebrities have been vocal in their anti-Israeli denunciations. There have been a few notable exceptions.

Across the pond it has been even more strident, as typified by a letter from Spanish actor Javier Bardem that was published in a Barcelona paper last week. Bardem wrote, “This is a war of occupation and extermination against a whole people without means, confined to a miniscule territory without water and where hospitals, ambulances, and children are targeted and presumed to be terrorists.” A hundred Spanish celebrities, including Academy Award winners Penelope Cruz and Pedro Almodovar, endorsed the letter.

"GAMECHANGER SALON": The Secret, 1,000-Member Group of Radical Leftists Who Seek to Control and Censor the News

Awesome work by Brian Sikma of MediaTrackers, who used a Wisconsin Open Records law to reveal a secretive, left-wing club of journalists and political operatives who seek to control your access to news.

A prominent CNN commentator, the top two political reporters for The Huffington Post, a Reuters reporter, the editor of The Nation magazine, a producer for Al Jazeera America television, a U.S. News & World Report columnist, and approximately two dozen Huffington Post contributors are among the more than 1,000 members of Gamechanger Salon. Founded by leftwing activist Billy Wimsatt, the group is a secretive digital gathering of writers, opinion leaders, activists and political hands who share information, ideas and strategy via a closed Google group.

The group’s existence was discovered by Media Trackers through an open records request filed with a University of Wisconsin professor who happened to be a member of the network.

...Sally Kohn, formerly a Fox News contributor, now works for CNN reliably echoing pro-Obama Administration talking points and championing leftwing ideas as a network commentator. Kohn is also a member of Gamechanger Salon, and e-mails show that she occasionally approached the group’s membership and asked them to promote her television appearances.

...Amanda Terkel, the “Senior Political Reporter and Politics Managing Editor at The Huffington Post,” is a member of Gamechanger Salon along with The Huffington Post’s Washington bureau chief, Ryan Grim.

In mid-July, Terkel and Grim jointly wrote a piece about a leftwing effort to push Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D) to run for president. The pair of reporters heavily quoted Erica Sagrans, a fellow member of Gamechanger Salon and leading organizer of the “Ready For Warren” effort, and cited Billy Wimsatt’s support for the project. Wimsatt’s work as founder of Gamechanger Salon and the reporters’ own membership in the group, along with Sagrans’ membership, went unreported.

...A former New York Times freelance columnist who now works as an energy and commodities reporter for Thomson Reuters is also a member of Gamechanger Salon. Anna Louie Sussman is listed as an “investigative reporter and journalist” on the Gamechanger Salon membership list, and while her beat focuses on energy issues, she has also writes about “local and international human rights and social justice issues” according to her website.

Katrina vanden Heuvel is the editor and publisher of The Nation magazine, a prominent and well-known periodical of leftwing political and social thought. She is also a member of Gamechanger Salon and a regular opinion writer for the online edition of The Washington Post.  ...   Not once does she appear to disclose her membership in Gamechanger Salon along with some of the very people she writes about.

21 Ways To End The Phrase ‘Americans Are So Broke…’

By Michael Snyder

Did you know that 77 million Americans have unpaid debts that are "in collections" and that Congress is actually thinking about letting post offices offer payday loans? We live in a country where almost everyone is drowning in debt and where most people are either flat broke or very close to flat broke. Years ago, "your Mama is so broke" jokes were all the rage, and at the rate we are going they could make a big comeback. Some of my favorites were "your Mama is so broke she went to McDonald's and put a milkshake on layaway" and "your Mama is so broke your family ate cereal with a fork to save milk".

Unfortunately, the facts that I am about to share with you are not funny at all. In fact, they are quite sobering. Yes, things are going fairly well for the elitists that live in the good areas of New York City, Washington D.C. and San Francisco right now, but most of the country is deeply struggling as our economic fundamentals continue to crumble. Please share these numbers with as many people as you can, because we need people to understand that there has not been an "economic recovery" for most of America. In fact, in many ways things just continue to get even worse. The following are 21 ways to end the phrase "Americans are so broke"...

1. Americans are so broke that about a third of them have debt collectors on their heels. One recent study discovered that more than one out of every three adults in the United States has an unpaid debt that is "in collections". That is a total of 77 million people. In other words, the debt collection business in America is absolutely booming.

2. Americans are so broke that Congress is now actually considering allowing post offices to provide payday loans and check cashing services.

3. Americans are so broke that they are keeping their vehicles longer than ever. The average age of vehicles on America’s roads recently set a new all-time high of 11.4 years.

IT'S COME TO THIS: 61 percent of Democrats side with Hamas or are ambivalent to the Nazi-aligned group

Any reasonably literate American knows that Hamas is a direct descendant of Hitler's Third Reich.

So who would have thought that the majority of Democrats either side with Nazis or don't know whether Nazis are good or bad?

It's official: The Democratic Party has abandoned Israel to its fate...

The results of a recent Pew Research Center poll revealed the largest partisan gap in 40 years on the issue of supporting Israel.‎

Conducted July 8-14, the week Israel began its air operation against Hamas in ‎the Gaza Strip but before its ground invasion, the poll asked 1,805 respondents: "In ‎the dispute between Israel and the Palestinians, which side to you sympathize with ‎more -- Israel or the Palestinians?"‎

The poll found that respondents considering themselves conservative Republicans ‎supported Israel by 77 percent, compared to 68 percent of moderate Republicans. ‎Among Democrats, 48 percent of moderate Democrats supported Israel, compared ‎to 39 percent of liberal Democrats.‎

In other words, 61 percent of liberal Democrats either sympathize with Hamas, a ‎group of war criminals designated as a terrorist organization by, among many other ‎countries, the United States, or are utterly apathetic to the plight of a small, faraway ‎democracy whose millions of citizens are being forced to flee for their lives under ‎daily, sometimes hourly, rocket fire.‎

...Now, at the risk of throwing cold water on the misguided passions of Hamas ‎supporters and the otherwise uninformed, let us compare founding documents.‎

The Hamas Charter states, "Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam ‎will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it."‎

Doesn't leave much room for a Turkish and Qatari-backed cease-fire, does it?‎

I blame the Department of Education and the media for their insane conspiracy to decouple Hamas from both its charter and its Nazi heritage.

Top 3 news stories that our media betters Eleanor Clift and Marc Lamont Hill may have missed

Far be it from me to offer advice to the the brilliant Eleanor Clift and the deep-thinker Marc Lamont Hill, but here are a few stories they may have missed from the last day or so:

Report: At least 160 children died digging Hamas’ tunnels

Because of their size and agility, children make good tunnel-diggers. The English knew this when they were digging coal mines during the Victorian era; Hamas knows it now.

Thus, the Journal of Palestine Studies (edited by President Obama’s pro-Palestinian friend Rashid Khalidi) reported in 2012 that Hamas uses children to help dig tunnels into Israel ... “at least 160 children have been killed in the tunnels, according to Hamas officials.” And, as noted, this was as of the end of 2011. How many more Palestinian children have died digging tunnels for Hamas since then?

Media silent as Hamas command center located in Gaza City Hospital

...Hamas obviously has no interest in having a photo-layout of one of its command bunkers beneath Shifa Hospital splashed on the front pages of newspapers. After all, such pictures would show that the organization uses the sick and wounded of Gaza as human shields while launching missiles against Israeli civilians. What Hamas wants is for reporters to use very different pictures from Shifa—namely, photos of Palestinians killed and wounded by Israelis, which make Palestinians look like innocent victims of wanton Israeli brutality.

...What Hamas has done, therefore, is to turn Shifa Hospital into a Hollywood sound-stage filled with real, live war victims who are used to score propaganda points, while the terrorists inside the hospital itself are erased from photographs and news accounts through a combination of pressure and threats, in order to produce the stories that Hamas wants. So if reporters aren’t entirely to blame for participating in this sick charade, then who is?

Hamas said to execute 20 anti-war protesters

Channel 10 reports that 20 Palestinians who participated in an anti-war protest in the Gaza Strip were rounded up by Hamas and summarily executed as alleged Israeli collaborators yesterday...

I blame Bush.

SURPRISE: "Tech" news site Mashable is a front for the Nazi-aligned Hamas terror organization

Question: When is a tech news site actually a public relations arm for a bloodthirsty terror group?

Answer: when that tech news website is called Mashable. Consider a couple of their recent stories, designed to garner sympathy for actual bloodthirsty war criminals (no links for obvious reasons; simply search for the headline and you'll find it if you decide you prefer to read Hamas marketing material):

'Am I Going to Die, Daddy?' The Child in Gaza Asked by Jon Snow

U.N. Official Warns of Gaza War Crimes; Only U.S. Votes Against Investigating by AP

45000 Londoners Protest Israel's Operation in Gaza by Colin Daileda

13 Anonymous Admissions From Israelis About Gaza on Whisper by Brian Ries

UN Made Clear It Was Sheltering Kids But School in Gaza Still Got Hit by Mashable Team

Israel Is Losing Control of the Gaza Media War by Colin Daileda

A Day in Gaza: A Destroyed Hospital and 'Gut-Slamming Explosion' by Jonathan Miller

Thousands Flee Major Battle With Israel in Gaza, Death Toll Tops 420 by the AP

Israeli Airstrikes Injure Three Journalists in Gaza by Brian Ries

PJMedia's Bryan Preston rightfully asks, "Is Tech Site Mashable.com Siding with Hamas Terrorists?"

In “‘Am I Going to Die, Daddy?’ The Child in Gaza Asked,” reporter Jon Snow states that “If the Israelis have proved anything, it is that there is no such thing as a forensic strike.” Snow never allows for the fact while Israel tries to avoid civilian casualties, while Hamas feeds on them.

After chronicling several heart-breaking cases of kids caught up in the crossfire, Snow rhetorically asks “Can they really be the acceptable collateral damage of targeting militants?”

The tone of the entire piece puts the moral responsibility for all casualties in Gaza not on Hamas, the terrorist group that is still dedicated to destroying Israel and which started the current conflict, but on Israel...

Today’s and tomorrow’s Israelis are paying a price too, are they not? You wouldn’t know it from reading Jon Snow, or indeed anything published at Mashable...

...Snow’s piece fits well within Hamas’ anti-Israel propaganda. Why is a tech site like Mashable publishing it?

It's almost as if Snow and Mashable are operating as a free public relations firm for one of the most bloodthirsty terror groups in the world, and one that is a a direct descendant of Nazi Germany.

Here's one of many videos secretly taped in Gaza that Mashable won't show you: Hamas terrorists savagely beats Gaza civilians who heed IDF calls to leave targeted areas, for instance.

Mashable also won't tell you that the Hamazis are forcibly strapping suicide belts to children and sending them into Israeli lines at gunpoint.

Hamas is committing war crimes daily, using civilians as human shields and targeting innocents with their thousands of rockets.

Hamas is a group with direct ties to the Third Reich and Adolf Hitler.

Why Mashable is promoting this Nazi sickness is beyond me, but it is reprehensible. There is no moral equivalence between Hamas and Israel, none.

A World Without Mark Levin

Try to imagine a world without Mark Levin.

A world in which the Constitution is seldom, if ever, mentioned and never thoughtfully discussed as society's rudder.

A world in which the rule of law is amorphous and no public voices decry these affronts, explaining the historical dangers associated with such acts.

A world in which the achievements of Locke, Montesquieu, Bastiat, Mason, Madison, Jefferson, Washington, Milton Friedman, and others are relegated to brief discussions in a few forlorn clasrooms.

A world in which the word statist is never uttered and the consequences of statism are never discussed.

A world in which the go-along-to-get-along Republican establishment -- the descendents of the Nixon, Rockefeller and Ford wing of the country club neo-statists -- are never held to account.

A world in which the intellectual underpinnings of conservatism are never dissected piece by piece, explained, and then reassembled in terms revealing, enlightening, and bracing.

A world in which the Framers are never discussed, nor the critical arguments they had among one another during America's founding are long forgotten.

A world in which the moral, philosophic, legal, and economic tenets undergirding societies both new and olden are ignored and generally forgotten.

A world in which the authoritarian malevolence of the ruling elites in Washington is never discussed and those promoting lawless behavior never named.

A world in which the few voices willing to oppose the elites in Washington -- the privileged ruling class of both parties -- are never celebrated or cheered.

A world without a simple playbook, authorized by the Constitution itself, for addressing an authoritarian government that has grown monstrous and detached from the citizenry and is simply unwilling to reform itself.

A world without a spokesman for America's greatness.

A world in which those who are conservatives can't easily describe why it is they believe as they do.

But we have this much: we have Mark Levin.

Say a little prayer tonight: we have Mark Levin.
