Tomorrow's IBD Confirms: By a 2-to-1 Margin Americans Favor Arizona's Enforcement of Federal Immigration Law

Tomorrow's Investors Business Daily will confirm what other polls had found: Americans overwhelmingly support Arizona's enforcement of existing federal immigration law. By a 2-to-1 margin (60% to 30%, with 10% undecided), Americans believe that states have every right to defend citizens from an unchecked invasion of illegal immigrants.

Last time I checked, protecting the border was a constitutional duty of the federal government, which it appears to have abdicated.

The law, signed by GOP Gov. Jan Brewer on April 23, lets state and local law enforcement scrutinize a person's citizenship after a "lawful contact" (arrest or other action).

Similar laws are being proposed for Pennsylvania, Missouri, Texas, Maryland and Oklahoma, though they are in preliminary stages.

The poll also found hardened attitudes toward illegal immigrants. Now 49% agree that illegals do jobs that Americans will not do vs. 54% in 2006. Just 33% believe illegals contribute significantly to the economy vs. 44% in 2006.

Eighty percent believe employers who knowingly hire illegals should be held accountable, 66% say securing the borders trumps expanding any guest-worker program and 71% think that the borders must be secure before discussing any amnesty for existing illegal immigrants.

"If the public actually did believe the borders were secure ... the public might actually go for an amnesty," [Center for Immigration Studies head Mark] Krikorian said. But the public doesn't buy border enforcement claims, he adds.

Janet Incompetano could not be reached for comment.

Irony-meter shatters: La Raza, MEChA and other racial separatist groups worry that law enforcement might use racial profiling to enforce laws

Legacy media continues its outstanding work of late, studiously ignoring outbreaks of violence at pro-illegal immigration protests in Arizona, while incessantly marketing the meme that enforcing centuries-old immigration law is 'racial profiling'.

Racial profiling?

Irony: Consider that the name of the dominant Latino lobbying group is National Council of La Raza ("The Race").

Irony: Consider that the motto of the dominant Hispanic student organization -- MEChA -- is Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada ("For the Race, everything, outside the Race, nothing").

Irony: Consider that MEChA itself (which stands for Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlán or "Chicano Student Movement of Aztlán") has a charter that explicitly endorses the overthrow of the United States government and its replacement with a racially pure "master race" ("we are Aztlán").

Irony: Consider that all of this insanity operates under the aegis and sponsorship of the University of Arizona and the state's taxpayers.

Hosted on an official University of Arizona website is the official founding document of MEChA, helpfully entitled "El Plan de Aztlan" (PDF).

El Plan de Aztlan was adopted at the first National Chicano Youth Liberation Conference in Denver, Colorado, March 1969. The plan presented for the first time a clear statement of the growing nationalist consciousness of the Chicano people. It raised the concept of Aztlan, a Chicano nation, and the need for Chicano control of the Chicano community...

Reffering [sic] to the Democratic and Republican parties as "the same animal with two heads that feed from the same trough," the plan pointed out that to achieve the goal of self-determination, would require an independent political party with Raza nationalism as its "common denominator.

El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán

In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal "gringo" invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlán from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny.

...[Our] love for our brothers makes us a people whose time has come and who struggles against the foreigner "gabacho" who exploits our riches and destroys our culture.

With our heart in our hands and our hands in the soil, we declare the independence of our mestizo nation. We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlán.

Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada.

El Plan Espiritual de Aztl án sets the theme that the Chicanos (La Raza de Bronze) must use their nationalism as the key or common denominator for mass mobilization and organization. Once we are committed to the idea and philosophy of El Plan de Aztlán, we can only conclude that social, economic, cultural, and political independence is the only road to total liberation from oppression, exploitation, and racism. Our struggle then must be for the control of our barrios, campos, pueblos, lands, our economy, our culture, and our political life. El Plan commits all levels of Chicano society - the barrio, the campo, the ranchero, the writer, the teacher, the worker, the professional - to La Causa.

Nationalism

Nationalism as the key to organization transcends all religious, political, class, and economic factions or boundaries. Nationalism is the common denominator that all members of La Raza can agree upon.

Organizational Goals

1. UNITY in the thinking of our people concerning the barrios, the pueblo, the campo, the land, the poor, the middle class, the professional-all committed to the liberation of La Raza.

2. ECONOMY: economic control of our lives and our communities can only come about by driving the exploiter out of our communities, our pueblos, and our lands and by controlling and developing our own talents, sweat, and resources. Cultural background and values which ignore materialism and embrace humanism will contribute to the act of cooperative buying and the distribution of resources and production to sustain an economic base for healthy growth and development Lands rightfully ours will be fought for and defended. Land and realty ownership will be acquired by the community for the people's welfare. Economic ties of responsibility must be secured by nationalism and the Chicano defense units.

3. EDUCATION must be relative to our people, i.e., history, culture, bilingual education, contributions, etc. Community control of our schools, our teachers, our administrators, our counselors, and our programs.

4. INSTITUTIONS shall serve our people by providing the service necessary for a full life and their welfare on the basis of restitution, not handouts or beggar's crumbs. Restitution for past economic slavery, political exploitation, ethnic and cultural psychological destruction and denial of civil and human rights. Institutions in our community which do not serve the people have no place in the community. The institutions belong to the people.

5. SELF-DEFENSE of the community must rely on the combined strength of the people. The front line defense will come from the barrios, the campos, the pueblos, and the ranchitos. Their involvement as protectors of their people will be given respect and dignity. They in turn offer their responsibility and their lives for their people. Those who place themselves in the front ranks for their people do so out of love and carnalismo. Those institutions which are fattened by our brothers to provide employment and political pork barrels for the gringo will do so only as acts of liberation and for La Causa. For the very young there will no longer be acts of juvenile delinquency, but revolutionary acts.

6. CULTURAL values of our people strengthen our identity and the moral backbone of the movement. Our culture unites and educates the family of La Raza towards liberation with one heart and one mind. We must insure that our writers, poets, musicians, and artists produce literature and art that is appealing to our people and relates to our revolutionary culture. Our cultural values of life, family, and home will serve as a powerful weapon to defeat the gringo dollar value system and encourage the process of love and brotherhood.

7. POLITICAL LIBERATION can only come through independent action on our part, since the two-party system is the same animal with two heads that feed from the same trough. Where we are a majority, we will control; where we are a minority, we will represent a pressure group; nationally, we will represent one party: La Familia de La Raza!

Action

1. Awareness and distribution of El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán. Presented at every meeting, demonstration, confrontation, courthouse, institution, administration, church, school, tree, building, car, and every place of human existence.

2. September 16, on the birthdate of Mexican Independence, a national walk-out by all Chicanos of all colleges and schools to be sustained until the complete revision of the educational system: its policy makers, administration, its curriculum, and its personnel to meet the needs of our community.

3. Self-Defense against the occupying forces of the oppressors at every school, every available man, woman, and child.

4. Community nationalization and organization of all Chicanos: El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán.

5. Economic program to drive the exploiter out of our community and a welding together of our people's combined resources to control their own production through cooperative effort.

6. Creation of an independent local, regional, and national political party. A nation autonomous and free - culturally, socially, economically, and politically- will make its own decisions on the usage of our lands, the taxation of our goods, the utilization of our bodies for war, the determination of justice (reward and punishment), and the profit of our sweat.

El Plan de Aztlán is the plan of liberation!

Lest you think I'm cherry-picking some ancient document, the person who published the document did so on February 12, 2006 as evidenced by this file tag.

Click the image to zoom, but suffice it to say that it reads:

Let me get this straight:

Trying to enforce our laws and secure our borders against this sort of balkanizing, violent, racially charged crap like this is wrong?

Sorry, folks, I'll tell you what's wrong. Racial divides of any kind. Separating people by their race, not by the content of their character. Race: which the Democrat Party obsesses over and loves to exploit.

They can't seem to get it through their thick heads: we're all Americans. We love our country. And for us to have a country, we must have borders. It's as simple as that.

And, as you can tell from the tripe above, we're not the racists in these here parts.

I feel confident that President Obama will courageously defend North Korea from its blatant oppressors in the south

Tomorrow's Wall Street Journal will report that the head of South Korea's military has confirmed that a torpedo likely sank one of its patrol boats last month.

The finding puts South Korea and its ally the U.S. in a bind in confronting the nuclear-armed totalitarian state. Seoul faces several constraints in penalizing Pyongyang, starting with the prospect that a military response could escalate into a war that very few here want...

...A military response looks unlikely at this point. South Korea has stopped short of matching previous acts of aggression, from the 1987 explosion of a Korean Air jet near Myanmar to the July 2008 killing of a South Korean tourist at a North Korean resort by a North Korean soldier. Though the public favors punishing the North, there is little appetite for warlike action that would disrupt the South Korean economy or destabilize the North enough to require the South to take it over...

...Privately, U.S. officials acknowledged the findings will have major ramifications for U.S. policy in Asia. They worry that further escalations by the North could complicate an American foreign policy agenda dominated by the war in Afghanistan and international efforts to contain Iran's nuclear program...

...There remains a chance the explosion was caused by a mine that South Korea or the U.S. planted along the countries' shared maritime border 40 years ago, when a nearby island was used as a radar station. Defense officials believe such mines were cleared long ago...

...The March 26 sinking occurred in the same boundary waters where South Korea's navy severely damaged a North Korean vessel in November, perhaps killing some of its sailors. In February, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il visited the navy base where the damaged ship returned, raising speculation in the South that he ordered an attack in retribution.

In another line of speculation, some analysts say Mr. Kim may have wanted to show strength inside the country to help the potential succession of his son, Kim Jong Un.

It's also reassuring that our country remains a financial powerhouse capable of weathering a new national security challenge. Sound investments like cash-for-clunkers, mortgage giveaways and weather-stripping programs have only strengthened our once-troubled economy.

'Have you seen this spitter? Report immediately to Beulah Balbricker. Do not attempt to apprehend this spitter, as it is armed and dangerous'

Jack Cashill is searching for a spitter. That would be the man accused of 'spitting' on Rep. 'Ward' Cleaver (D-Somewhere) during the curious events of March 20, 2010 near the Capitol Building. Members of the Congressional Black Caucus walked through a Tea Party rally challenging their takeover of the health care system.

Although "Spittlegate" has largely passed from the national news, it still has resonance in the Kansas City congressional district of Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, the "spittee" at the center of the Capitol Hill protest on March 20. Cleaver has milked the issue locally for a month, and his minions have been busily spreading the word that Cleaver's Republican opponent, Jacob Turk, is a friend of the Tea Party and thus a barely closeted Ku Kluxer. I wish I were exaggerating.

To put the issue to rest I would love to speak in all confidence to the stocky middle-aged man in black shirt and white hat clearly seen shouting at Cleaver in this video.

I've taken some stop-action shots of the man, who appears at the left side of the screen.

If you do recognize the man, please fire me an email, and I'll be sure and keep you anonymous if you prefer.

Balbricker: [Balbricker has a strong grip on Tommy Turner through the shower room wall]
Balbricker: I've got you *NOW*, TOMMY TURNER! And I'm taking you to the principal! Somebody get me the principal! Mr. Carter! Somebody get me the principal!
Balbricker: [Tommy is struggling to get free] You disgusting, little, filthy, *pervert*!
[Tommy finally gets free and gets out of there]
Balbricker: [through the wall] You *freak*! You filthy little pervert. I know you're in there.

Mark Levin brutalizes Bill Clinton, Pelosi, Reid and Obama, asking: which philosophers inspire the modern Democrats?

Last night, Mark Levin shredded the modern Democrat Party (MP3) with a stunningly frank question: while the conservatives stand on the shoulder of the founders, which philosophers inspire the likes of Clinton, Pelosi, Reid and Obama?

Bill Clinton said the other day that this isn't the Boston Tea Party. This isn't the Boston Tea Party -- we actually have legitimate representatives. Yes, we do -- [but they're] doing illegitimate things.

The individual mandate under the health care bill is worse than what the [British] Crown did to the Colonists with The Stamp Act. It's worse! The Stamp Act was a tax! The individual mandate is an effort to undermine the Constitution, to change the relationship between the citizen and his government, and to destroy individual liberty.

God knows we have enough Stamp Acts around here. We have taxes on everything we do! Everything we buy... all our services. This government has gone too far. It's gone way too far. I don't think the Founding Fathers would sit silently. Matter of fact, I know they wouldn't.

So you are operating, organizing, speaking out in the grandest traditions of this nation. You stand on the shoulders... of the people who established this society.

So I ask you: who does Clinton and Obama and Pelosi and Reid... whose shoulders do they stand on? Not one of the Founding Fathers, not one. They stand on the shoulders of... well, certain philosophers and ideologues from foreign lands. The Fabians, the Fascists, the Marxists, some mix of that -- whatever. Those are not the Founding Fathers. Those are not the people who wrote and adopted the Declaration of Independence and, later, the Constitution.

You see, what Obama and Clinton and Pelosi and Reid and the rest of them are advancing is an alien ideology. Alien to this nation. You have to reject the Declaration of Independence and you have to reject the Constitution to embrace it, because they cannot coexist.

They reject natural law and the laws of God, as the Declaration of Independence asserts. What they embrace is man-made law and man-made brute force. That's why you hear them mocking us, intimidating us, defaming us.

What really does Obama stand for? Or Clinton? Or Pelosi? Or Reid? How do they define what they stand for? What are limits of what they stand for?

Who are their great philosophical heroes? Well, it's none of the ones we embrace, is it? You keep your voices up... you keep up your organizing... find the conservative candidates running for local, state and federal office in the Republican primaries and back them. They're putting their necks on the line for us. Back them. And then we shall succeed. Then we shall overcome.

Listen for yourself.

Cleverly-edited video becomes anti-Military infomercial for world's dumbest blogger and his traditional posse of useful idiots

In their most recent attempt to undermine the American military, the fulminating confluence of legacy media and leftist bloggers have seized upon a new report from USCENTCOM.

The report details an investigation into a 2007 incident that led to the deaths of two Reuters journalists and injuries to two Iraqi children.

A gun-camera video documenting the incident was edited before it was posted on WikiLeaks to incite progressive outrage.

The editors provide plenty of fact-free editorializing and helpfully title the piece "Collateral Murder". A more accurate name would be "How Not to Use Journalists and Children as Human Shields."

In the video, a group of military-aged males carrying (at minimum) two RPG launchers, multiple RPG rounds, and an AK-47 are, if not directly involved in a firefight with an approaching Bradley armored vehicle, in the very midst of the fight.

At the direction of ground forces, a nearby Apache takes out the group using a 30mm. Minutes later, as the Bradely pulls up, the two dead Reuters reporters and two injured children are discovered. They evacuate the kids for medical treatment and, all the while, they are under small arms fire.

The usual crowd of leftist scum-sucking weasels are pointing to this incident as evidence of the depravity of the American soldier. The world's dumbest blogger, Matthew Yglesias, calls it a "massacre" and a "cover-up".

Yes, there was a huge cover-up, which is why CENTCOM released the results of the entire freaking investigation, only to have it cleverly edited into an infomercial and fundraising vehicle for the enemies of America.

MEMORANDUM FOR Commander, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division (MND-B), Baghdad, Iraq

SUBJECT: 15-6 Investigation of Civilian Casualties Resulting from an Engagement on 12 July 2007 in the New Baghdad District of Baghdad, Iraq

"From the witness statements and the Apache gun-camera film, I determined that the engagement in which the Iraqi children were injured and the two Reuters News employees were killed began at 1020 hours... Bravo Company 2-16 soldiers were within 100 meters of the location of a group of armed insurgents and two individuals carrying cameras when Apache helicopters engaged the insurgents with 30mm gunfire. The engagement concluded with the evacuation of casualties at 1041 hours."

Exhibit J:
"While at this objective, I enusred that security on the roof top were maintained of 360 degrees. We ddi a brief SSE at the site due to the fact that one AIF member was lying on a RPG round and all individuals were on their stomachs. The risk of being booby-trapped was the reason for not touching the bodies... while on site we were under constant small arms fire from the east. Medical treatment was rendered to injured AIF. EOD blew up RPG launchers, RPG rockets and AK-47s."

Exhibit K:
"3-4 truck engaged on AIF carrying an RPG south of the [objective]. It is undetermined whether we hit the target. We also heard small arms to the east where Crazy Horse also engaged targets."

Exhibit L:
"While on scene, Crazy Horse (the Apaches) engaged a house to the east where people with weapons were observed going in. There was also an RPG round down in place by EOD... I personally did not see any dead or wounded who were not military-aged males."

Exhibit M:
"I did not see any evidence that any of the dead or injured were non-combatants. All were in the vicinity of weapons (AK-47's/RPGs) and there no visible press passes, or othe rindicators that they were non-combatants."

Exhibit N:
"No, I believe all were involved [were combatants]. There were two RPG launchers, multiple rounds for them and an AK-47 on scene. Some of the males were described by Hotel 2-6 as the ones having pop shots at his PLT all day. All males were found within 20 meter radius to the weapons on the ground. Between the radio traffic from Crazy Horse before and during the engagement as well as what I took note of on scene, I believe that all males involved were not in any way non-combatants."

Here's a memo for the pointy-headed bosses at Reuters: how about you whackjobs stop paying people to embed themselves with barbarians, who then use them and children as human shields?

Then you and your idiot employees might not get their asses shot off on a regular basis.
