OOPS: Michigan Recount Appears to Expose Industrial-Scale Democrat Vote Fraud

By Ted Goodman

Over half of Detroit’s 662 voting precincts may be ineligible for the ongoing Michigan recount, since the number of ballots in precinct poll books do not match those from voting machine printout reports.

More than a third of precincts in Wayne County, Michigan’s largest county and home to Detroit, could be disqualified from the statewide recount because county officials, “couldn’t reconcile vote totals for 610 of 1,680 precincts during a countywide canvass of vote results late last month,” according to the Detroit News.

Carrier and the Slippery Slope

By Jim Quinn

“Companies are not going to leave the United States anymore without consequences.” – Donald Trump

The reaction to Trump’s deal to keep 1,100 Carrier jobs in Indiana has ranged from outrage to adoration. There are so many layers to this Shakespearean drama that all points of views have some level of credence. I’m torn between the positive and negative aspects of this deal. If you’ve read Bastiat’s The Law and Hazlitt’s Economics in One Lesson, you understand the fallacies involved when government interferes in the free market. Politicians and their fanboys always concentrate on the seen aspects of government intervention, but purposely ignore the unseen consequences.

BUMMER: GOP Plans Immediate Obamacare Repeal and Delay

By William Teach

You can’t just rip the bandaid off:

(NY Times) Republicans in Congress plan to move almost immediately next month to repeal the Affordable Care Act, as President-elect Donald J. Trump promised. But they also are likely to delay the effective date so that they have several years to phase out President Obama’s signature achievement.

This emerging “repeal and delay” strategy, which Speaker Paul D. Ryan discussed this week with Vice President-elect Mike Pence, underscores a growing recognition that replacing the health care law will be technically complicated and could be politically explosive.

THE @ROBBYMOOK LEGACY: Exclusive Sneak Peek at New Comic Strip Featuring Hillary's Campaign Manager

Summer intern Biff Spackle sends us this startling look at the incomparable genius behind Hillary Clinton's stellar camapign.

I once met a rancher from McAllen, Texas on a flight and asked what she thought about building a wall. She said something that has stuck with me ever since. She asked, "Is it controversial if you build a fence around your house?"

COEXIST: Muslim Refugee Brings Terror to Ohio State

By Robert Spencer

Ohio State University student Abdul Razak Ali Artan on Monday morning set off a fire alarm on campus, then drove his car into the crowd of students evacuating the building. Then he jumped out of his car and began stabbing people with a butcher knife. In a departure from the usual denial and obfuscation, Columbus Police Chief Kim Jacobs was refreshingly honest, saying: “I think we have to consider that it is” a terror attack. Leftists took advantage of the occasion to call for gun control, which might have been a cogent argument were it not for one inconvenient detail: Artan didn’t have a gun. But above all, Artan was a “refugee”: the attack vindicates President-elect Trump on Muslim immigration.

PURE EVIL: A horrifying look at 9/11’s mastermind, in his own words

Writing at an uncharacteristically candid Washington Post -- perhaps chastened by the massive repudiation of their leftist politicking -- Marc A. Thiessen offers a rare glimpse into Islamist evil. His review of James E. Mitchell's new book, "Enhanced Interrogation: Inside the Minds and Motives of the Islamic Terrorists Trying To Destroy America, is a surprising and revealing look into Khalid Sheikh Muhammad (KSM), the man behind 9/11.

...Mitchell describes the day he was questioning Khalid Sheik Mohammed, when the 9/11 mastermind announced he had something important to say. “KSM then launched into a gory and detailed description of how he beheaded Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl,” Mitchell writes. Up to that moment, the CIA did not know KSM had personally carried out the murder. When asked whether it was “hard to do” (meaning emotionally difficult), KSM misunderstood the question. “Oh, no, no problem,” KSM said, “I had very sharp knives. Just like slaughtering sheep.”

o confirm his story, the CIA had KSM reenact the beheading so that it could compare the features of his hands and forearms to those in the video of Pearl’s murder. “Throughout the reenactment, KSM smiled and mugged for the cameras. Sometimes he preened,” Mitchell writes. When informed that the CIA had confirmed that he was telling the truth, KSM smiled.

BUILD ON VICTORY: A Conservative Infrastructure Plan For President Trump

By Michael Sargent

President-elect Donald Trump has stated that infrastructure will be one of his top priorities upon taking office, and many in Congress have signaled a willingness to act on infrastructure. However, the Trump Administration and Congress should evaluate the needs of the nation and make structurally sound reforms rather than rushing to pass an infrastructure package focused on politically motivated short-term spending.

Infrastructure Priorities

When crafting an agenda for addressing the nation’s infrastructure, the Trump Administration and Congress should:

THE SO-CALLED WISCONSIN RECOUNT: "Appalling and Tryannical"

By M.D. Kittle

Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein insists her recount campaigns in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are all about voter integrity, not politics.

That’s a hard sell for many conservatives, who see the effort at best as a political stunt and fear the reason behind it could be much more nefarious.

There is growing concern that the unprecedented Wisconsin recount could cost the Badger State its 10 electoral votes.

State Rep. Dave Craig asserts that may have been by design.

OBAMA ANONYMOUS: Community Organizing to Continue From Outside the White House

By Daniel Greenfield

Barack Obama has two faces. After Trump’s victory and Hillary’s defeat, the public Obama has been gracious and diplomatic. His lectures to Trump, directly and indirectly, are couched in praise. He echoed the feeling of millions on both sides when he said, "We are now all rooting for his success”.

That’s a lie. Or rather a disguise.

Obama and his aides had, in one insider narrative, decided to don the “mask of decorum”. The contempt for Trump still seeps through the mask. And the mask hides Obama’s next big move.

The Fake Arbiters of "Fake News"

By Gates of Vienna

As everyone already knows, on Friday the business section of The Washington Post published an article about so-called “fake news” propagated on the Internet. The Russian propaganda services are said to be behind this disinformation, with many American websites helping to spread it, deliberately or otherwise.

One of the WaPo’s principal sources for the story was a website called “PropOrNot”. For some reason the author, Craig Timberg, failed to link the site, although he linked many others. However, in its post on the piece, Zero Hedge provides a link to the 200 “fake news” websites listed by PropOrNot. Gates of Vienna was not illustrious enough to make the Post’s article, but PropOrNot has honored us by including us in the list of sites that retail “fake news”.

Interestingly enough, much more prominent sites were omitted from that list, including Jihad Watch. I’ll discuss the likely reasons for such omissions, but first I’d like to look at the “journalism” practiced by The Washington Post, which relies on PropOrNot and other “independent researchers” to designate a wide swath of information sources as inadequate, inferior, and false, branding them as worthy of shunning and shaming.

MARK LEVIN: Populism, Nationalism and Americanism

By Mark R. Levin

I would like to discuss something rather foundational.

Attorney, author, and radio host Mark R. Levin
What do you think about this “new nationalism”? Do you think it's new? What does it mean? Does it mean putting America first? Does it, in fact, put America first? Has this new nationalism been tried before? It very much has.

New nationalism

The phrase "new nationalism" was actually coined by Theodore Roosevelt in a speech he gave in Kansas on Sept. 1, 1910. In that speech, Theodore Roosevelt, a Republican, later to become a Progressive Party candidate, in essence denounced the Declaration of Independence, and embraced the new nationalism.

He rejected the American heritage, in many respects, the limitations placed on the federal government, and he argued for a powerful central government that would take care of the general welfare of the people. It was a quintessential, aggressive, progressive speech. This is a speech that the Left venerates. In fact, Barack Obama, just a few years ago, visited the exact site where Theodore Roosevelt gave this speech. He gave his own speech and was extremely complimentary of Roosevelt’s.

Roosevelt thought that the general welfare of the people — their health, education, basic jobs and wages, and so forth — should be determined by the federal government. The Republican Party was the progressive party. The Democrat Party became the progressive party. You had two Progressive Era parties. The Republican Party, under Theodore Roosevelt, then William Howard Taft (albeit less so), and then of course Woodrow Wilson, who took the Democrat Party to the hard Left in what's known as the Progressive Era.

3 Things Congress Must Do To Prepare For a Trump Administration

By Mike Needham

Earlier this month, voters all across the country shocked the political and media establishments. America’s message was simple: We are tired of corrupt insider dealing in Washington and the self-serving nature of the establishment political class.

This didn’t happen by chance. Millions of Americans found a reason to engage in the political process. Whether it was opposition to massive unconstitutional government, a desire to drain the corrupt swamp, or an understanding of how much progressivism is hurting our nation, these Americans rallied around Donald J. Trump.

Congress will be making decisions on the budget and will have the opportunity to lay the groundwork for a full repeal of Obamacare under a Trump administration.

THE FORGOTTEN MAN: No Longer Forgotten?

By Richard Larsen

To those on the East coast or the left coast, the rest of the nation is merely “fly-over country.” It’s comprised of common men and women who work hard, want to raise their families in a safe and free country, and want the government to quit striving to micromanage their lives. We are the ones for whom the ruling class has nothing but contempt, describing us as a “basket of deplorables.” We represent the “forgotten man” in America. Donald Trump in his victory speech early Wednesday morning declared, “The forgotten men and women of America, will be forgotten no longer.”

Donald Trump not only defeated Hillary Clinton, but symbolically triumphed over the political elite, the media elite, a globalist establishment, a reluctant party, and the governance establishment that tramples the interests and needs of the “forgotten man” for their own aggrandizement. He quashed the motives and means of the arrogant statists who assume unto themselves the nanny role of governing and ruling every aspect of our lives. The results of the election Tuesday constituted an emphatic reply to the ruling elite, “Enough is Enough!”

TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME: Democrats believe in democracy only until they lose an election

By Daniel Greenfield

Like all dictators, the Democrats believe in democracy only until they lose an election.

And then they lose their minds.

The last time a national mental breakdown this severe happened was sixteen years ago when Bush beat Gore. The Democrats reacted gracefully to their defeat by insisting that they didn’t really lose because Bush stole the election. Psychiatrists were soon tending to lefties suffering from depression. Others protested outside the Florida Supreme Court, President Bush’s home and their parents’ basement.

Jesse Jackson accused Republicans of a “coup.” Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson warned that "without justice there will be no peace." Thousands protested Bush’s inauguration waving signs like, “We want Bush out of D.C.” and “You’re not our president.”

The Congressional Black Caucus tried to obstruct the certification of the Electoral College vote. Then when Bush won again in the next election, they did it all over again. Expect them to try it one more time.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE NEW YORK TIMES: Hey, About Your Epic Failure in the Presidential Election...

By Jerry Kammer

I am writing in response to the epic failure of your coverage of the presidential election. I should make it clear at the outset that I am no Trump apologist. I voted, reluctantly, for Hillary Clinton. I write as a former immigration reporter whose respect for the Times has long been diminished by the ideological bias that pervades much of your immigration coverage and commentary.

I believe that bias explains your inability to appreciate the public frustration with immigration that was a significant factor in the victory of Donald Trump. Your work on immigration exemplifies the liberal bias identified by your first public editor, Daniel Okrent, who wrote in 2004 that when it comes to its social issues, "if you think the Times plays it down the middle on any of them, you've been reading the paper with your eyes closed."

Khamenei calls Trump

Papa B relays this tale, which is Twitter-verified and absolutely true, as far as you know:

Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei calls President-Elect Trump and tells him, "Donald, stay out of office. because last night I had a wonderful dream.I could see America, the whole beautiful country, and on each house I saw a banner."

"What did it say on the banners?" Trump asks.

Khamenei replies, "United States of Iran."

Trump says, "You know, I am really happy you called, because believe it or not, last night I had a similar dream. I could see all of Iran..."

Funniest Observation of the Election Season Spotted in WaPo Comments Section

I kid you not.

A querrolous John Wagner at the Washington Post offers YARFHIL ("Yet Another Reason for Hillary's Ignoble Loss"), now that the James Comey, Russia, John Podesta, spirit cooking, Wikileaks, global warming, and redneck revolution theories have all been disproven.

No, Wagner reports that the vaunted Democrat computer analytics program was the culprit ("What Ada Got Wrong"):

A LEFTIST'S GUIDE TO ANTI-TRUMP PROTESTS: Chapter 12 --- How to Wear Your Protest Safety Pin

Now that the Soros-funded radicals are using safety pins to signify their disrespect for the Constitution, our summer intern @BiffSpackle offers these helpful fashion tips:

SOROS AND SORE LOSERS: Far Left Anarchists Planning Huge Protest of the Constitution on Inauguration Day

By Michael Snyder

We have seen very large protests in major cities all over America since Donald Trump won the election, but the biggest one of all is being planned for January 20th. Radical leftists are calling for thousands upon thousands of activists to descend upon Washington D.C. on Inauguration Day, and they are planning to disrupt the inauguration festivities as much as they possibly can. And if you doubt that the “Not My President” movement can pull this off, you may want to consider that 25,000 protesters showed up in New York City on Saturday on very short notice. These people are bitter, angry, frustrated and incredibly motivated. At this point they still have more than two months to organize their forces, and many are expecting that this is going to be the most chaotic Inauguration Day in American history.

YES, PRESIDENT TRUMP WILL BUILD A WALL: "I'm very good at this, it's called construction"

So relays Louis Nelson at a very butthurt Politico:

“What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably 2 million, it could be even 3 million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate,” he said in the interview, to air on “60 Minutes ... But we're getting them out of our country; they're here illegally.”

Only then, Trump said, will he figure out a plan to deal with the “terrific people” who are in the U.S. illegally but have otherwise clean criminal histories. Securing the border, he said, is a prerequisite for any other action on immigration...

...One unchanged part of his immigration platform has been his plan for the construction of a wall along America’s southern border with Mexico, something he said he would force the Mexican government to pay for by threatening to cut off the flow of money from immigrants to their families south of the border. Trump said Sunday that while an actual wall will be necessary along some portions of the border, a mere fence will suffice in others.

“I'm very good at this; it's called construction,” he said.

If I were President-Elect Trump, I'd have added the word "dumbass" to my response, but that's -- perhaps -- the reason I'm not the President-Elect.
