Obama-Jarrett-Kerry Deal With Iran All But Certain to Deliver Nukes into the Hands of Terrorists

By Ted Bromund

It’s no secret that the Obama administration badly wants a nuclear deal with Iran. And it’s no secret that the Iranians are playing hard to get. The talks, which were supposed to yield a final agreement this week, have been extended to July. That’s a relief, because right now, the best deal is no deal.

Many of the finest minds in strategy and physics have spent years arguing over the parameters of a deal with Iran. But it’s easy to overthink this problem. We know what nations that give up on nuclear weapons programs look like. They look nothing like Iran.

The United States has done a lot of good work to limit the spread of nuclear weapons. We discouraged Taiwan and South Korea from going nuclear. After the Soviet Union fell, we encouraged, and paid, the former Soviet states of Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus to get rid of the Soviet nukes they had inherited.

We supported confidence-building efforts between Brazil and Argentina that ended their nuclear rivalry. In the 1990s, our pursuit of Iraq’s nuclear program persuaded South Africa to come clean about its nuclear stash. In 2004, during the Iraq War, we frightened Moammar Gadhafi into giving up Libya’s program.

But all of these places either went through a democratic transition, or — in Libya’s case — were scared into doing the right thing. Fundamentally, they came clean about their nuclear programs of their own accord. While we offered incentives, our incentives were never decisive.

We’ve offered loads of incentives to North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons, with no success. We’ve never been able to bribe or talk nations into giving up nuclear weapons: They usually give up nukes because they have newly free political systems and no longer want to have the bomb.

None of this is true of Iran. The anti-Western regime of 1979 is still in power. If you doubt that, watch the videos of the charming “Death to America” rallies held across Iran earlier this month. Rallies like that are organized by the regime.

This isn’t complicated. If Iran wanted only civilian nuclear power, it would make that clear. Instead, it has repeatedly been caught cheating, it is developing long-range missiles, and it demands the right to unlimited nuclear research, with no accountability for its past lies.

MELT THEIR SWITCHBOARDS DOWN: Tell Republicans That Obamnesty Must Be Defunded Next Week!

By Chris Chmielenski

The situation surrounding House Speaker John Boehner's plan to fully fund Pres. Obama's executive amnesty is getting dicey!

Reports on Wednesday indicated that Boehner would turn to House Democrats to pass two spending bills -- one that funds most of the government through September of 2015 and one that funds the Department of Homeland Security through the early part of 2015 -- should he lose more Republican votes than he can afford.

But House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi met with her caucus on Thursday and strongly urged them not to commit to Boehner. She told them that by offering support before seeing the final bills, Democrats give up what little leverage they have over the bills' details.

Pelosi's hardline, combined with a growing number of Republicans coming out against Boehner's plan to fund Obama's amnesty, may force him to choose sides -- either Republicans who want to defund Obama's amnesty or Democrats who want more of their own policy goals included in the spending bills.

As radio talk show host, Mark Levin, put it: "Will Republicans fund Obama's fundamental transformation of America?" Or will they uphold their campaign promises and do everything they can to stop Obama?

The constant barrage of phone calls from our activists over the last several weeks has truly made an impact. We still have more work to do, but the fact that Boehner is thinking about turning to Democrats means that a lot of Republicans are threatening 'no' votes on the bills. Those lawmakers wouldn't be bucking leadership if it weren't for the pressure from their constituents.

AN OPEN LETTER TO REP. MICHELE BACHMANN: I Beg You to Reveal the Truth About Hillary Clinton

Why is this letter addressed to Rep. Michele Bachmann? Because she is one of the few members of Congress with the courage and stamina to stand up to the Beltway elites in both parties. She isn't running for reelection, so she presumably doesn't care whose feathers she ruffles.

Dear Rep. Bachmann:

I have a favor to ask. The favor is not for me personally: it is for every American concerned about the future of this Republic.

I know you are a patriot. I know you are courageous. I know you care deeply about the future of this nation. Therefore I have addressed this request to you and you alone.

Hillary Clinton, like Barack Obama, is a radical leftist who despises the Constitution and the free market. Her troubling history is well-documented, as even The Washington Post observed in 2008 when the editors of that dying journal were trying to get then-Senator Obama nominated.

Hillary Clinton and her husband have some secrets you can help expose.

The Cox Report

The Cox Report was issued in 1999, a time when some House Democrats still put country before party, after an investigation of some shocking transfers of military technology to the Communist Chinese military.

This special committee, created by a 409-10 vote of the U.S. House of Representatives on June 18, 1998, was tasked with the responsibility of investigating whether technology or information was transferred to the People's Republic of China that may have contributed to the enhancement of the nuclear-armed intercontinental ballistic missiles or to the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction... ...The committee's final report was approved unanimously by all 9 [bipartisan] members. The redacted version of the report was released to the public May 25, 1999.

The full report has never been released.

Why might that be?

Because the Clintons appear to have traded military secrets to the Red Chinese in exchange for millions in campaign contributions.

For instance, on 9/13/1995, President Clinton met with John Huang and James Riady (pictured below). During the meeting, Huang expressed an interest in becoming a fund-raiser for the Democratic National Committee.

In this position at the DNC, Huang raised $3.4 million. The DNC was later forced to return nearly $2 million when a Congressional investigation revealed "problems" with the source of the funds. Huang was later convicted of crimes related to illegally reimbursing campaign contributions with Asian funds. Riady was also convicted of related campaign finance crimes. A U.S. Senate campaign finance report stated that Riady had a, "long-term relationship with... Chinese intelligence."

On 3/14/1996, President Clinton signed an order transferring license-granting authority for military/industrial technology from the State Department to the Commerce Department. This order made it easier for the Chinese military (the PLA) to launch American satellites, over objections from the Pentagon and the State Department. During the Clinton administration, focused Chinese espionage efforts made significant headway in the theft of U.S. military/industrial secrets including those concerning nuclear weaponry.

On 5/25/1999, the U.S. House of Representatives released the Cox Report ("Report of the Select Committee on U.S. National Security and Military/Commercial Concerns with the People's Republic of China"), which detailed publicly for the first time China's espionage campaign against the United States. The report was a redacted version of a still-classified report. Approximately 30% of the original report, the unanimous product of a bi-partisan committee, remains classified.

Rep. Bachmann, you can release the full Cox Report.

The Barrett Report

Another little-remembered scandal involving the Clintons, The Barrett Report:

...is a 400 page [document] created by special prosecutor David Barrett. Initially tasked with investigating allegations of lying to the FBI against Henry Cisneros, Secretary of the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development under U.S. President Bill Clinton, the investigation eventually delved into allegations that President Clinton had used the U.S. Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service as political tools against American citizens.

Before the release of the report, three Democrat U.S. Senators, John Kerry, Dick Durbin and Byron Dorgan, forced the redaction of certain pages by attaching a rider to an unrelated appropriations bill.

Cisneros, a former San Antonio mayor, eventually pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of lying to the FBI. He paid a US$10,000 fine and was pardoned by President Clinton on Clinton's final day in office.

So three powerful Democrat Senators did their level best to cover up reports that Clinton used the IRS and the DOJ to attack political opponents!

Rep. Bachmann, you can release the full Barrett Report.

So my request is as follows

Rep. Bachmann: please read the redacted portions of The Barrett Report and The Cox Report into the Congressional Record. The classification of this information is not an issue for members of Congress.

Professor Bruce Ackerman and others have stated that members of Congress "cannot be prosecuted for reading classified material into the public record."

Let's find out what Hillary Clinton and her husband were really up to when they occupied the White House for eight years.

The citizens of this country need to know in order to properly vet this woman for elected office. The citizens of this country deserve to know the truth. Please help us discover the truth.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Doug Ross

As an aside, wouldn't you agree that these Democrats are the lowest of the low?

MUST READ: An Open Letter to Republicans in Washington

By Daniel Horowitz

Dear Republicans in Washington,

Houston, we’ve got a problem.

We have a president who has made it clear he will unilaterally change laws in a way that will harm America’s economy for years to come – whether they pertain to labor, energy, health care, and of course, immigration.  He openly brags about his newfound ability to “change the law,” and he is only emboldened to continue building on the lawlessness for the next two years.

This begs the deeply uncomfortable and inconvenient question of our time: is there anything this president cannot get away with over the next two years?

Yet, at the same time that Obama has assumed the powers Alexander Hamilton referred to as the prerogative of perpetual and hereditary prince, you have publicly and preemptively ceded all powers Congress has to stop this regime.  You have made it clear to the president that no matter how egregious and unpopular his edicts are with the people, you will not wield the power of the purse in any consequential way.  You have telegraphed to him your fervent belief that Republicans would be blamed for any brinkmanship – no matter the issue, no matter how much you fund critical aspects of government, no matter the results of the election.

This begs the deeply uncomfortable and inconvenient question of our time: is there anything this president cannot get away with over the next two years?  He can violate any and every law on the books, yet what are you going to do about it?  Won’t it lead to a government shutdown?

And this two-year constitutional crisis is based on the assumption that he doesn’t unilaterally nullify the 22nd Amendment and run for a third term.  Ironically, the only thing stopping him from doing so is Hillary Clinton, not you and your fellow Republicans.  After all, we can’t have a government shutdown.

Make no mistake about it, immigration is just the beginning.

How Today's Falling Oil Prices Could Lead to a Financial Catastrophe

By Nick Price

The oil and gas boom in the United States was made possible by the extensive credit afforded to drillers. Not only has financing come from company shareholders and traditional banks, but hundreds of billions of dollars have also come from junk-bond investors looking for high returns.

Junk-bond debt in energy has reached $210 billion, which is about 16 percent of the $1.3 trillion junk-bond market. That is a dramatic rise from just 4 percent that energy debt represented 10 years ago.

As is the nature of the junk-bond market, lots of money flowed to companies with much riskier drilling prospects than, say, the oil majors. Maybe drillers were venturing into an uncertain shale play; maybe they didn’t have a lot of cash on hand or were a small startup. Whatever the case may be, there is a reason that they couldn’t offer “investment grade” bonds. In order to tap the bond market, these companies had to pay a hefty interest rate.

For investors, this offers the opportunity for high yield, which is why hundreds of billions of dollars helped finance companies in disparate parts of the country looking to drill in shale. When oil prices were high and production was relentlessly climbing, energy related junk bonds looked highly profitable.

But junk bonds pay high yields because they are high risk, and with oil prices dipping below $70 per barrel, companies that offered junk bonds may not have the revenue to pay back bond holders, potentially leading to steep losses in the coming weeks and months.

High Crimes and Climate Grifters

By Alan Caruba

One of the lesser known attempts to prove that renewable energy, wind and solar power, can replace traditional energy sources--coal, oil, and natural gas--just went belly up. It occured in much the same way current wind and solar companies depend on tapping the taxpayer for government subsidies in order to stay in business. Google’s Renewable Energy Cheaper than Coal initiative began in 2007 and shut down without fanfare just four years later.

Two members of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Ross Koningstein and David Fork, worked on the project. Both men have excellent credentials in aerospace engineering and applied physics, respectively, but neither had a clue about climatology. Expertise in one field rarely translates to another unless it is closely allied.

At the start of the project "we shared the attitude of many stalwart environmentalists. We felt that with steady improvements to today's renewable energy technologies, our society could stave off catastrophic climate change. We now know that to be a false hope, but that doesn't mean the planet is doomed."

Environmentalists start off with several thoroughly incorrect beliefs that are not supported by science. The first is that climate change has anything to do with human activity such as carbon dioxide and other so-called “greenhouse gases.”

But the Earth is not a greenhouse. It is always in the process of absorbing and discharging heat via the atmosphere and the oceans. If it retained heat all life on Earth would die. Even after a hot summer’s day, the air will cool at night. Deserts, too, are often cooler at night. As for carbon dioxide, it is a trace gas in the atmosphere at barely 0.04%, but it is also the gas which all vegetation requires. In turn, vegetation gives off oxygen while we humans and other animals exhale carbon dioxide.

SENATOR SESSIONS: Is the Republican Party Going to Keep Its Promise to Fight Amnesty or Not?

By Sara Noble

The following statement is from Sen. Jeff Sessions‘ website. Judging from his statement, it appears the new GOP draft on amnesty rejects pretty much nothing that Obama is demanding.

It’s all okay with the GOP – work permits, Social Security, Medicare, all of it is okay.

The fact that Congress rejected this five times and that Obama’s actions are illegal seems to be eluding the GOP. The fact that they were elected to stop Obama also seems to have eluded the GOP.

The GOP seem to think the worst thing in the world is to allow Obama to close the government down since he and the media will blame the GOP. It would be so terrible that they will let Obama do anything he wants to avoid it.

10 Signs That the Ferguson Protests Could Signal the Start of a Communist Revolution In America

By Michael Snyder

The far left is rising in America, and radical communists are being drawn to Ferguson protests all over the nation like moths to a flame. So could Ferguson be the spark that sets off a communist revolution in America? Certainly I am not saying that everyone involved in the Ferguson protests is a communist. That is not true at all. In fact, communists and other far left groups only make up a minority of the protesters. But they have repeatedly been at the forefront of the violence, and they are taking advantage of the anger and frustration caused by the death of Michael Brown to promote their far left radical ideologies. Sadly, they are finding a receptive audience – especially among young people in our poor and disadvantaged communities. Even though Republicans did very well in the last election, survey after survey has shown that our young adults continue to move to the left. For example, one survey taken a few years ago found that 49 percent of all Americans in the 18 to 29-year-old age range have a positive reaction to the word “socialism”. The same forces that fueled Occupy Wall Street are now finding fertile ground in these new protests. So what does all of this mean for the future of our nation? The following are 10 signs that Ferguson could be the start of a communist revolution in America…

#1 Communist protest banners have been prominently displayed at protests in Ferguson, in New York City and elsewhere around the nation.

#2 Flyers declaring that Darren Wilson is wanted “for racist murder” are being distributed by communist groups in Ferguson. In fact, the website address for the “Revolutionary Communist Progressive Labor Party” is right on the flyers.

#3 There were reports that violent communist activists from Chicago were brought into Ferguson by bus last August with the intention of stirring up as much trouble as possible…

AMERICA: A Banana Republic Without the Bananas

By Don Boys

Should U.S. taxpayers be expected to finance millions of the 12 million uneducated, unskilled, and often un-American illegal immigrants? I can defend the position that we should not finance legal immigrants? With Obama’s legalization of at least five million illegal aliens, he will turn America into a banana republic–without bananas. While many of the aliens covered are decent, hardworking people, many are not. I think this tragic immigration policy will create political, financial, and cultural anarchy.

Since people from Mexico and South America have lower skills, they are more likely to request public assistance, gorge the public school system, overwhelm the health care industry, and spike the crime reports. Bigotry? Not at all. Just the facts. We know that 15% of California K-12 students are children of illegal aliens. Furthermore, they cost California citizens over 11 billion dollars per year for health, education, and incarceration! No wonder, the state is bankrupt! Did you know that 26% of U. S. Federal prisoners are illegal aliens? They are not in prison for being gatecrashers but for committing crimes in the U.S.!

We should be concerned about illegal and legal immigration since there are 35 million immigrants in the U.S. Harvard economist George Borjas affirmed that “the United States has been granting entry visas to persons who have relatives in the United States, with no regard to their skills or economic potential.” He said that, “Immigrants today are less skilled than their predecessors, more likely to require public assistance, and far more likely to have children who remain in poor, segregated communities.” Obama was correct when he said that immigrants have been a “net plus for our economy and our society,” but is a total fabrication if one looks at the last fifty years or illegal immigration. This new policy will cost us plenty in many ways.

Borjas says, immigration is positively bad news for America’s poor. The wages of America’s high school dropouts have fallen 10% since the 1980s relative to the wages of more educated workers. Borjas declares that about a third of that decline is because of immigration. Almost 30 percent of the immigrants now living in this country are of Mexican origin. Borjas can be trusted with his stats since he is “America’s leading immigration economist” according to BusinessWeek and The Wall Street Journal.

Variety Magazine Hawks Bloodthirsty Communist Revolution

By Lee Cary

It is common knowledge that most of Hollywood is populated with progressive, liberal Democrats, but, apparently, Variety magazine online is partial to the Revolutionary Communist Party USA.

Revcom.us signs were carried at several of the Ferguson demonstrations across the nation.

Perhaps some of those carrying the signs assume Revcom.us is a cosmetic company, or just didn’t bother to wonder what Revcom.us is.

Here’s part of the Revolutionary Community Party USA mission statement:

The Revolutionary Communist Party, USA has taken on the responsibility to lead revolution in the U.S., the belly of the imperialist beast, as its principal share of the world revolution and the ultimate aim of communism.  This Party is built on and takes as its foundation the new synthesis of communism that has been brought forward through the body of work and method and approach of Bob Avakian.  Its members are united in their profound desire for a radically different and better world, and their understanding of the need for revolution to get to that world. They have dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to revolution, and on the basis of that they channel their individual abilities and passions to the cause and needs of this revolution.”

All that mumbo jumbo has the ring of “fundamental transformation” – which is another linguistic siren song that attracts useful idiots just as Communist doctrine during the 1950’s attracted Americans with the same intellectual DNA as Revcom.us sign-carriers, along with their close cousins, the fellow travelers.

In the Cold War, these folks were supporters of Communism, but not official "card-carrying members" of a Communist party.

The useful idiots abound among us.

WHITEWASH: "House Intelligence Report on Benghazi" is Bogus

By Clare Lopez

House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI) and Ranking Member C.A. “Dutch” Ruppersberger (D-MD) issued a much-anticipated “Investigative Report on the Terrorist Attacks on U.S. Facilities in Benghazi, Libya, September 11-12, 2012” late on Friday November 21, 2014 that has administration supporters crowing—and eyewitness, on-the-ground operators pushing back forcefully. A close comparison of the report and other previously released information about the September 2012 attacks on the U.S. Mission in Benghazi shows that the operators have good reason to cry “foul.” While clever wording just might give Messrs. Rogers and Ruppersberger plausible deniability on a witness stand, the overall intent of the report is clear: exonerate the Intelligence Community (IC), and, by extension, the Obama administration, of responsibility for intelligence failures prior, during, and after the terrorist attack that took the lives of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Foreign Service Information Officer Sean Smith, and CIA contractors Glenn Doherty and Tyrone Woods.

In simple terms, this report is a whitewash of the CIA, which, along with the State Department, was responsible for arming and assisting the very jihadist militia groups that rose to power in the first place during the 2011 rebellion against Muammar Qaddafi, and who later murdered our people in Benghazi. The biggest intelligence failure of all that is never mentioned is the failure to understand the essential hostility of the jihadist ideology of the groups with which our government was dealing.

One of the most riveting revelations from members of the CIA security team who were at the Annex the night of 11-12 September, 2012 concerns the repeated refusal of CIA Chief of Base ‘Bob’ to allow them to go to the rescue of the besieged Americans at the Special Mission Compound (SMC). While the Rogers report is adamant that “…the Committee found no evidence that there was either a stand down order or a denial of available air support,” that statement is directly contradicted by accounts of events from Mark “Oz” Geist, Kris “Tanto” Paranto, and John “Tig” Tiegen. These three members of the Annex security team are co-authors of “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi,” and have spoken out publicly in multiple media appearances. The Rogers Committee interviewed all three of them, as well as additional members of the Annex staff, so there’s no question about its familiarity with the actual sequence of events that fateful night.

HEROES OF BENGHAZI AGREE: House Intel Report a "Pile of Crap"

By Investor's Business Daily

Scandal: The Benghazi annex security team that fought on the building's rooftop to save its lives and those of others begs to differ with the House Intelligence Committee claim that there was no stand-down order.

To say that Kris Paronto, Mark Geist and John Tiegen, three CIA contractors who on the night of Sept. 11, 2012, battled with terrorists from the roof of the CIA's Benghazi annex building, do not agree with conclusions of the House Intelligence Committee report released Friday is putting it mildly. In a tweet, Paronto called the report "a pile of crap."

South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham was equally eloquent during an interview on CNN's "State of the Union," agreeing the report was "full of crap."

"I know Benghazi pretty well," he said Sunday. "I don't think that the report is accurate."

Neither do we, for it flies in the face of testimony from the three CIA operators and Gregory Hicks, U.S. deputy chief of mission in Libya, who were on the ground in Libya on that fateful night.

The report by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, chaired by Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich., said the committee "found no evidence that there was either a stand-down order or a denial of available air support." Yet Paronto and his teammates who were there tell a quite different story.

Obama is not doing enough to wreck the country

By Lawrence Sellin

There are self-appointed mouthpieces for the illegal immigrant community, who have complained that Barack Obama did not go far enough with his executive order delaying deportation of new Democratic voters prior to the next Presidential election.

I agree.

I believe that the economy can potentially absorb five million additional gardeners and nannies. The challenge will be to create a corresponding number of rich young liberals to hire them.

I was relieved to hear that California Governor Edmund Gerald "Jerry" "Moonbeam" Brown, Jr., who has welcomed all five million amnesty recipients to his state, has proposed a new Middle Class tax that will subsidize wealthy left-wing yuppies to bridge the gap between a livable wage for illegal immigrants and that which liberals are willing to pay them. Brown sees this as a first step in his campaign to become the Democratic Party's candidate for President of Mexico in 2016.

Although I was concerned that Republicans might actually do something to block Obama's unprecedented usurpation of power, I was comforted to learn that the party of decalcified spinal columns has already excluded every possible course of action that might thwart additional attempts to undermine the Constitution and delay Obama's nationwide plan to create a North Korean version of Detroit.

While Republicans have the luxury of only needing to lie to conservatives, the Obama Administration and its mainstream media propaganda team have raised lying to an art form not seen since the demise of the Soviet Union.

CONFIRMED: Eric Holder's Rogue DOJ Targeted CBS News Reporter Sharyl Attkisson

By Investor's Business Daily

Corruption: Smoking-gun emails show how the administration sought to derail a CBS reporter's investigation of its "gun-waking" operation — a reporter whose computers were mysteriously and mercilessly hacked.

Fast and Furious, along with Benghazi, is one of the two "phony" administration scandals that produced body bags, and former CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson is responsible for much of the truth-telling about both. That fact is enough to put her high atop the administration's enemies list.

Attkisson, a casualty of liberal media bias, resigned from CBS in March after a series of clashes between her and her bosses over her exposes of administration wrongdoing and its subsequent cover-ups. An email thread obtained by government watchdog Judicial Watch show just how upset Eric Holder's Justice Department and the White House were over Attkisson's reporting and how hard they tried to undermine her.

The email thread's topic was concern over news reports linking Holder directly to the Fast and Furious program that had resulted in the deaths of agents Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata at the hands of Mexican drug cartels. The killers used weapons funneled south of the border under the administration's program.

States and Localities Should Nullify Obama's Unconstitutional and Unlawful Executive Action

Thursday night marked a truly historic event related to the federal system of Constitutional checks and balances. A man named Barack Obama, commanding the entirety of the Executive Branch of the Republic, announced that he would create his own federal statutes from whole cloth, thereby usurping the responsibilities of the Legislative Branch.

Congress, now controlled by a pair of corporatists, promptly issued a variety of sternly worded memos and then departed for the airport to celebrate Thanksgiving.

It's now tragically apparent that John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, who lead the House of Representatives and the Senate respectively for the Republican Party, are far more interested in feathering their own nests than in preserving and protecting the American system of government.

They have refused, for instance, to use the very powers bequeathed to them by the Framers for the very purpose of controlling a rogue executive. James Madison -- a student of the Enlightenment -- himself wrote:

The House of Representatives cannot only refuse, but they alone can propose, the supplies requisite for the support of government. They, in a word, hold the purse that [can limit] all the overgrown prerogatives of the other branches of the government.

...This power over the purse may, in fact, be regarded as the most complete and effectual weapon with which any constitution can arm the immediate representatives of the people, for obtaining a redress of every grievance, and for carrying into effect every just and salutary measure.

Would that the enfeebled representatives of the American people, swept into power by an enraged electorate, grasp the reins of power that have been handed to them.

What, then, can be done?

John Hinderaker, writing at the inestimable Power Line, notes that a future Republican president could embrace the "Obama non-enforcement doctrine".

In particular, Hinderaker observes that a GOP president could choose to announce a deliberate non-enforcement policy related to the corporate income tax, any EPA regulations deemed too onerous, and similar diktats.

Of course, said actions presume that Republicans could actually win a presidential election post-implementation of Executive Amnesty. Obama's destructive orders, which will result in a diminution of influence for all legitimate voters, could lead to an electorate dominated by those who despise America.

All is not lost, however.

The brilliant Mark Levin has rightfully called for an Article V Convention of the States, in order to propose a set of amendments both constraining the federal Leviathan and empowering the states that gave birth to the central government.

I fully support said measures, but additional actions are also warranted.

That said, another tactic could be employed

The president has nullified federal statutes -- the very laws he took an oath to uphold -- in ways never before seen in American history.

These unprecedented actions should be met with equally strenuous measures.

I suggest that state and local governments should nullify all federal immigration activities. They should jail, try, profile, imprison, and deport those who have unlawfully entered the United States.

What's good for the goose should indeed be good for the gander.

Obama's ne'er-ending Constitutional Convention should be met with legitimate and lawful resistance.

Democrats must learn a stern lesson: nullification begets nullification.

The American people should not stand for a president who believes himself to be a dictator.

Hat tip: Mark Levin.

"Obama has engaged in a sustained and calculated campaign to dismantle the immigration laws of the United States"

By Senator Jeff sessions

President Obama’s executive amnesty violates the laws Congress has passed in order to create and implement laws Congress has refused to pass.  The President is providing an estimated 5 million illegal immigrants with social security numbers, photo IDs and work permits—allowing them to now take jobs directly from struggling Americans during a time of record immigration, low wages, and high joblessness.

This amnesty plan was rejected by the American people’s Congress.  By refusing to carry out the laws of the United States in order to make his own, the President is endangering our entire Constitutional order.

The President’s plan will apparently also allow many illegal immigrants to receive green cards and become legal permanent residents—meaning they can access almost all U.S. welfare programs, have lifetime work authorization, obtain citizenship, and sponsor foreign relatives to join them in the U.S.

Law enforcement has warned this unprecedented amnesty will unleash a ‘tidal wave’ of new illegal immigration flooding into American neighborhoods at taxpayers’ expense.

The President’s plan also calls for boosting foreign worker programs for IT companies that experts tell us displace U.S. workers and keep wages low.

The President’s unconstitutional action is a direct threat to our Republican system of government and will have catastrophic consequences for the American people.  It must be stopped.  And the way to stop it is by using Congress’ power of the purse.

America's Eerily Calm Transition to Dictatorship

By M.D. Kittle

Using the kind of social network tools that helped him get elected, President Obama on Wednesday declared in a Facebook video that he would use his “lawful authority as president” to “start fixing our broken immigration system.”

Obama’s expected plan to grant legal status to as many as 5 million illegal immigrants was hailed as a victory for the powerful amnesty movement and criticized by amnesty opponents as an extra-constitutional power grab by a president who has grown increasingly fond of issuing executive power grab.

“… Obama (is) going against the will of Congress, which considered and rejected the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act on several occasions, including when both houses of Congress were controlled by the president’s party …” wrote Hans von Spakovsky and John Malcolm of the Heritage Foundation in a piece outlining the constitutional pitfalls of Obama’s unilateral action.

William Gheen, president of the Raleigh, N.C.-based Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, used stronger words in challenging the president’s looming declaration, slated to be unveiled Thursday night on national television.

FREEDOM OF THE PRESS IN A WAR ZONE? One Embedded Reporter vs. the Establishment

By M.D. Kittle

MADISON, Wis. — Wayne Anderson, seeing the carnage unfold before him, did what any veteran embedded reporter in a war zone would do: He reported on it.

“The first response vehicles arrived and I thought, ‘Oh, shit, something is up here,’” Anderson told Wisconsin Reporter in an interview last week. “They started offloading the dead and wounded, and I had the presence of mind to get my video camera out of my pocket and start taping this news event.”

He quickly went about talking to witnesses and military officials on the ground at the U.S. Army’s Camp Mike Spann, the U.S. Army base not far from Mazar-e-Sharif in northern Afghanistan. The camp is named for the first American casualty of America’s longest war.

It was all standard operating stuff for the 59-year-old freelance journalist from Frederic, who was on in his second tour of embedded reporter duty in a war zone.

Anderson’s journalistic instincts cost him his job and his professional reputation, setting off a four-year First Amendment fight with the U.S. Department of Defense that is far from over.
