Shocking archeological discovery

An archeological team, digging in Washington DC, has uncovered 10,000-year-old bones and fossil remains of what is believed to be the first Democrat politician.

Google Street Views in DC

Junior Cub Reporter Biff Spackle was surfing Google Street Views in the Washington, DC area and came across the following.

Driving by Jack Murtha's mansion, one of his aides appears to be negotiating with a defense contractor.

Here we look inside the window of Hillary Clinton's expansive dining room.

On our way to John Edwards' house.

A sneak peak inside the Edwards' DC condo as John prepares for a comeback.

This is the parking area near the Kennedys' brownstone.

The headquarters of the group Democrats for America lies dead ahead.

The Breathing Tax

Here's my attempt at a simple television commercial that explains the genocidal hypocrisy of the Enviro-statist.

Plants emit oxygen...

Which man needs to breathe...

Man exhales carbon dioxide.

Which plants need to breathe.

So why do Democrats say carbon dioxide...

...is a poison? How can what we exhale be a poison?

It's all about taxes.
Democrats want more tax money.
They'll call it a "carbon tax",
"carbon trading" or "cap-and-trade."

All of it is a scam,
because carbon dioxide isn't a poison.
Call Congress right now...

Tell them carbon dioxide isn't a poison.

OPPOSE CARBON TAX SCHEMES.

Ayers and Dohrn Describe "The Stain of White Supremacy"

Our favorite terrorists -- Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn -- spoke at a Baltimore library last night. Their mission: promote a new book and generate some cash to keep their pathetic lifestyles afloat.

Ironic, eh? They're outspoken Communists, so why don't they share their book with the proletariat?

Former radicals Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn spoke out against “the stain of white supremacy” in a Baltimore appearance to promote a new book.

Dohrn said Wednesday that the country has two justice systems, one that keeps white youths from entering prison and another that repeatedly imprisons youths of color. Ayers said Barack Obama’s election as the nation’s first black president was a “blow against white supremacy.”

Ayers co-founded the Weather Underground, which was known for a series of 1960s bombings. He eventually surrendered and charges were dropped, but his past was an issue during Obama’s campaign.

Ayers served with Obama on a charity board and hosted an Obama event in the 1990s. That led vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin to accuse Obama of "palling around with terrorists."

Holy crap, the quality of reporting has certainly declined.

First off, Obama served on multiple boards -- and shared an office for several years -- with Ayers.

Secondly, Ayers' charges were only "dropped" because of a technicality.

The murderous crackpot is on record as stating, "[I'm g]uilty as hell, free as a bird... Kill all the rich people, break up their cars and apartments, bring the revolution home... that’s where it’s really at."

And as for "white supremacy"? Ayers is even dumber than he looks, which is quite a an accomplishment. He's profited from the very society he attempted to decapitate.

Oh. And his wife is a foul-smelling shrew who looks like she's suffering from Swine Flu.

How's that?

Lumber and the Economy

The Maestro writes:

The recent enthusiasm in the market may follow the direction of lumber prices. Allow me to explain my rationale: lumber is bulky and therefore requires a huge amount of warehouse space.

Unlike steel and copper, lumber has a shelf-life. It is perishable, even if it is stored in excellent conditions.

Thus, vendors manage their inventories very carefully to avoid spoilage. This three-year chart shows that lumber participated in the rally at first, and then was dragged down by the market.

Because lumber dealers must respond to market demand quickly and then readjust their inventory levels, the price drop should have indicated a lower demand for lumber.

Because of this, I'm a little concerned with the underlying housing and building market.

The Maestro is a sharp character.

Exclusive: Nancy Pelosi's Address to CIA Employees

Junior Cub Reporter Biff Spackle secured an exclusive copy of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's speech to CIA employees.

People, we live in a world that has rules and those rules need to be enforced by Members of Congress and their staffers . Who's gonna do it? You? You, DCI Panetta? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom.

You weep for the victims of 9/11 and curse the terrorists; you have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that those victims' deaths, while tragic, probably saved lives and that my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves terrorists from illegal torture.

You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties you want me in Congress, you need me in Congress.

We use words like tax, spend, entitlement and "investment". We use them as the backbone of a life trying to keep our power. You use them as a punchline.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to men and women who rise and sleep under the blanket of the very money I provide and then question the manner in which I provide it.

I would rather you just said "thank you," and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest that you pick up a ballot and cast a vote. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.

We can't handle the truth.

RED ALERT: Thousands of youths training as Obama's "Civilian National Security Force"

On two separate occasions in the past year, Barack Obama expressed a desire to create a "civilian national security force".

In March of this year, Obama stated:

America must balance and integrate all elements of our national power. We can not continue to push the burden onto our military alone, or leave dormant any aspect of the arsenal of American capability.

That's why my administration is committed to renewing diplomacy as a tool of American power and developing our civilian national security capabilities.

And in July of 2008, Jim Lindren noted a couple of peculiar sentences in a Barack Obama speech.

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

Curiously, the official transcript of the speech omitted those two sentences.

On Wednesday of this week, the New York Times reported that the Explorers affiliate of the Boy Scouts is training thousands of youths as counter-terror and immigration enforcement operators:

The group uses compressed-air guns — known as airsoft guns, which fire tiny plastic pellets — in the training exercises, and sometimes they shoot real guns on a closed range.

“I like shooting them... [one youth said,] I like the sound they make. It gets me excited.”

If there are critics of the content or purpose of the law enforcement training, they have not made themselves known to the Explorers’ national organization in Irving, Tex., or to the volunteers here on the ground, national officials and local leaders said.

Training includes: home invasions, taking down illegals and raiding marijuana fields.

In a simulation here of a raid on a marijuana field, several Explorers were instructed on how to quiet an obstreperous lookout.

“Put him on his face and put a knee in his back,” a Border Patrol agent explained. “I guarantee that he’ll shut up.”

Boy Scouts used to to work on survival skills, science and engineering.

So let me see if I understand:

• President Obama promised to build a "civilian national security force" with capabilities equal to those of our military.

• Now we discover thousands of armed teenagers training for the very first time to handle all sorts of domestic law enforcement, 'border control' and paramilitary scenarios, including home invasions.

• And the approval of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano and Attorney General Eric Holder -- political hacks of the worst variety -- would have been required in order to pull this off. Napolitano, also known as 'The Queen of Open Borders', has about as much interest in border enforcement as I have in macramé.

Anyone else concerned?

The headline in Advertising Age reads "Obama Halves Chrysler's Planned Marketing Budget".

Eh, maybe I missed that day in Constitution class.

Not content with simply firing CEOs, abrogating contracts and rewriting the bankruptcy laws to benefit his supporters, now President Obama wants to show off his advertising genius by keeping the dying Chrysler brand on life support.

Unhealthy Imagination

In 2003, shortly after the invasion of Iraq, the federal government awarded Halliburton Corporation contracts worth $100 billion over ten years.

The awards -- for rebuilding Iraq and Afghanistan -- were "no-bid" contracts, meaning Halliburton had no competition for the work.

The resulting media outcry culminated in a firestorm of criticism. Over a period of 24 months, special prosecutors, lawsuits, investigations and impeachments terminated the relationship between the federal government and Halliburton.

My mistake. It wasn't Halliburton and it wasn't 2003. It's right now.

GE Capital -- a unit of General Electric -- received approximately $140 billion in taxpayer funds last year as part of the initial financial bailout.

Yet six billion in GE funds (or are they taxpayer funds?) are headed to a new firm called Healthymagination.

Healthymagination's advisers include Tom Daschle, Barack Obama's initial nominee for secretary of Health and Human Services.

Daschle's plans for nationalizing health care are spelled out in his book Critical.

The book outlines Daschle's plans to establish a "Federal Health Board" that would control every aspect of medical care in America. Its stated goal: destroy the private health care system and replace it with a top-down, authoritarian Politburo with life and death decision-making power.

At a recent conference, GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt claimed that America's economic crisis was not simply an economic crisis. It was instead a "reset", where companies that intersect with government will "prosper... and people who don't understand that will get left behind."

Immelt, a member of Mr. Obama's economic recovery advisory board, went on to say that, "The intersection of government and business will be changed, maybe for a generation." Put simply, Marxism is on the way and GE is positioning itself to profit.

The business case behind Healthymagination hinges on nationalization of the health care industry. Computerization of health care records is not only a vaunted component of the Obama stimulus package, it is also a $75 to $100 billion business over the next ten years.

Fortunately, Healthymagination just happens to be building a health care record management system.

And with Obama's buddy Tom Daschle in tow, Healthymagination is certain to get some nice fat contracts out of the deal.

Oh, and did I mention NBC? It's involved, too. Health Imaging reports that the GE-owned media conglomerate -- something out of the movie Rollerball -- will do its part.

• NBC Universal and NBC News will air more than 5,000 televised reports annually on health and wellness.

• MSNBC will launch a new, daily program dedicated solely to health information... in addition to medical issues it will also examine health policy.

Put simply, the media will broadcast the propaganda; government will enact policy "by popular demand"; and the chosen corporation will profit at taxpayer expense.

As Andrew Wilkow observes, "Healthymagination states its target dates for the completion of its various initiatives as 2015, well into a second Obama term. This means GE will have a deep financial interest in Mr. Obama's re-election; a fact that will no doubt be reflected in its media divisions. It will certainly be interesting to see if the left-wing watchdogs howl, or if they will conclude this is an acceptable level of collusion between the White House and a multinational conglomerate."

Not to mention the mainstream media. Prepare to be absorbed.
