Newly Discovered Tape from 1995: Obama admits he was mentored by vicious Communist Frank Marshall Davis

Interesting how this just turns up now, ain't it? Cliff Kincaid reports:

In an extraordinary development, film of Obama explicitly and openly identifying “Frank” as Frank Marshall Davis has suddenly surfaced on the Internet.

It is described as having been recorded on September 20, 1995, with the program originally airing on Channel 37 Cambridge Municipal Television as an episode of the show “The Author Series.”

Obama admits the mysterious “Frank” from his book Dreams from my Father is indeed the communist Frank Marshall Davis. But Obama does not reveal that Davis was a communist.

America’s Survival, Inc. President Cliff Kincaid discusses the significance of this discovery.

Click here to watch the video.

And click here if you don't know who the virulent Communist Frank Marshall Davis was.

And speaking of vintage media censorship of Obama's real background: I wonder what will happen when The Los Angeles Times decides to finally release the videotape of Barack Obama toasting Islamic terrorist Rashid Khalidi?

WHAT A RELIEF: Castro absolves Obama of fault for American "imperialist aggression"

I guess the entirety of the American population remains on the hook, but at least the genocidal dictator Raul Castro has abolved El Presidente from blame for our "meddling" (Obama's words, not mine).

Obama meets with genocidal dictator Raul Castro, the first U.S. President to meet with Cuba's leader since the Communist Revolution.
Cuban President Raul Castro recounted the history of U.S. "imperialist aggression" in Latin America in an address here Saturday at the 7th Summit of the Americas, although he absolved U.S. head of state Barack Obama of responsibility for those past actions...

"All (of the previous U.S. presidents) are indebted to us, but not President Obama," who is an "honest man ... with a manner about him that speaks to his humble origins," the Cuban leader said.

Castro also described as a "positive step" Obama's recent statement indicating he will soon make a decision on Cuba's presence on a U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism.

"They say we're terrorists. And we indeed have acted in solidarity with many peoples that may be considered terrorists" under the viewpoint of "imperialism," Castro said, noting that he was referring to Cuba's humanitarian missions in various developing countries.

I suppose this is the least Castro could do after Obama formally apologized for "meddling" in Latin and South America as well as renouncing the circa-1823 Monroe Doctrine.

Ready to Defeat Hillary

By Matt Schlapp

After nearly four decades of single-mindedly chasing the Presidency, Hillary Clinton announced this weekend that she will again run for the White House in 2016. Never before has a Presidential candidate played so fast and loose with the truth as has Mrs. Clinton. From her refusal to shoot straight with the American people on the deaths of four Americans, including an ambassador, in Benghazi, to her unwillingness to play by the rules in the handling of her official emails during her time at the State Department, we have seen time and time again that Hillary Clinton thinks she does not have to follow the laws the rest of us have to follow.

Outside of pursing a radical agenda, it’s hard to see what, if anything, Hillary Clinton has done. Mrs. Clinton proved to be an ineffective Senator, introducing only two bills that became law during her eight years in the Senate, and she was equally ineffective as Secretary of State. Although she will brag about the tens of thousands of miles she has traveled around the globe, Mrs. Clinton’s global glad-handing resulted in no major breakthroughs. Furthermore, the world is more unsafe now than ever before. Whatever she actually did do during those thousands of miles has been conveniently lost to history when she scrubbed her computer clean in a brazen act of lawlessness.

Since 1992, Hillary Clinton and her husband have been at the center of an endless parade of scandals. After eight years of Barack Obama, the last thing we need is to extend his radical policies another four years with a President Hillary Clinton. Ready? We’ve had enough.

Obama Deal With Iran Leaves a U.S. Marine Behind

By Investor's Business Daily

Justice: A Marine veteran has been held captive in Iran since August 2011, when he was taken prisoner while visiting family and charged with spying. Does President Obama hear his plea for unconditional freedom?

With the exception of deserters like Bowe Bergdahl, those who put on a uniform and serve their country seem like afterthoughts to this administration, if they're thought of at all.

Just ask Andrew Tahmooressi, the Marine sergeant allowed to languish 214 days in a Mexican jail for the crime of missing a highway exit. Or now, Amir Hekmati of Flagstaff, Ariz., a Marine vet who sits in an Iranian jail, having made the mistake of trying to visit his Iranian family.

Hekmati has been locked up in Iran's Evin Prison since he returned to his ancestral home 3-1/2 years ago to visit family. His parents left Iran when the mullahs took power in 1979. He did not think he would later be a victim of Iranian belligerence and American indifference, accused of being a CIA spy. He was first sentenced to death, but that sentence was overturned, and in a retrial he got 10 years in prison.

Unlike Bergdahl in Afghanistan, Amir served with genuine honor and distinction in Iraq, where Shiite militia groups were supplied with weapons and trained in their use by Iran's Revolutionary Guard. These weapons included sophisticated improvised explosive devices, or IEDs, designed to exploit vulnerabilities in U.S. military vehicles and increase American casualties.

TRUTH: The Cure for Cognitive Dissonance

By Jim Quinn

“In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.” George Orwell

Every time the BLS puts out their monthly propaganda report on the wonderful state of the U.S. jobs market and states with a straight face the unemployment rate is a measly 5.5%, their corporate mouthpieces in the mainstream cheerleader media regurgitate the fake numbers and urge you to buy stocks. The millionaire talking heads on CNBC and the corrupt bought off politicians in D.C. make broad sweeping declarations about economic recovery, strong job growth, GDP advancement, record highs in the stock market, and soaring consumer confidence.

The people living in the real world know otherwise, but they want to believe the “experts” and “leaders”. This dichotomy between reality and what they are being told is causing a tremendous amount of mental stress. This cognitive dissonance of attempting to reconcile what they are experiencing in their every day existence and the propaganda being peddled at them on a daily basis from big media, big bankers, corporate titans, and captured politicians pulling the strings and running the show, is causing psychological discomfort. Most people want their lives to get better, so to reduce their cognitive dissonance they choose to believe the government and media reports about economic improvement.

It is only a small minority who want to know the unvarnished truth. They are drawn to alternative media websites, which the the captured corporate media refers to as doom sites. These critical thinking individuals understand the facts. The Deep State propaganda has no impact on these people because they have no cognitive dissonance. They know things are far worse than what is reported by the government and their media whores. Knowing the truth and seeing how the majority remain willfully ignorant results in rising anger among truth seekers. Huxley was right.

THE MONROE DOCTRINE IS DEAD: Obama apologizes for all U.S. "meddling" in Latin America since... 1823

The Monroe Doctrine is dead. This key U.S. foreign policy, in place since 1823, made clear that foreign efforts to assert control over Latin or South America would be viewed as acts of aggression.

Obama meets with genocidal dictator Raul Castro, the first U.S. President to meet with Cuba's leader since the Communist Revolution.
No more stark example exists of the Monroe Doctrine than the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, possibly the closest the world has come to global nuclear war.

It was then that the iconic Democrat President John F. Kennedy "cited the Monroe Doctrine as a basis for America's 'eyeball-to-eyeball' confrontation with the Soviet Union that had embarked on a campaign to install ballistic missiles on Cuban soil."

Now this key, 192-year old American defensive strategem is no more.

Keith Koffler, writing at White House Dossier, relays the jaw-dropping news.

President Obama officially closed a chapter in U.S. history that has guided presidents since nearly beginning, indicating the United States will no longer act to resist overseas influence in the Hemisphere.

Obama, who spoke Friday during a “civil society” forum in Panama City, Panama, disparaged past efforts by the United States to forestall the spread of Communism in Latin America and suggested similar missions would no longer be undertaken.

The days in which our agenda in this hemisphere so often presumed that the United States could meddle with impunity, those days are past,” Obama said.

You read that right: Obama just apologized for nearly two centuries of U.S. "meddling".

The U.S. being, of course, the country that he "leads".

Also noteworthy: Mr. Obama announced that he is giving Cuba a free pass on its support for terrorism and Communist insurgencies around the world.

Oh, how I yearn for an American president.

PEW: Obama is the most divisively partisan president since we began surveying Americans

That's not how Pew phrased it. But that's what the accompanying graph, as relayed by Barry Ritholtz, depicts. It illustrates historical job approval ratings segmented by political affiliation of Americans surveyed.

Note the 67 point difference (we'll call it the delta) between Obama's popularity among Democrats and Republicans. That's the highest ever.

Bush 43 had a delta of 58. Clinton rang up a 53. Bush 41 was a 38.

And Reagan's delta was a 52.

Carter was an aberration with a delta of only 27, but that's mitigated by the fact that Carter's popularity among Democrats was incredibly low, which compresses the margin.

Put simply, Obama is the most nakedly divisive president ever. The science, as they say, is settled.

CRIMINAL: Feds order parched California farm district to use 9 billion gallons of water to save... 29 fish

No, this isn't an article from The Onion: "Should California Spend 4 Billion Gallons to Save a Few Fish?"

In the the heart of California’s drought-parched Central Valley, fruit and vegetable supplier to the nation, a water district is defying a federal order to give some endangered trout a 3.9 billion gallon water ride out to sea. And it could be the first skirmish in a much wider conflict.

The Endangered Species Act protects steelhead trout, a small population of which are attempting a recovery in the Stanislaus River, which flows out of the Sierra Nevada Mountains into Modesto, in the San Joaquin Valley. So earlier this week a federal fisheries agency—it’s unclear which one, and there are several— told the California branch of the Bureau of Reclamation (another water agency) that the fish needed more water to get out to the Pacific. The bureau in turn passed the order to the South San Joaquin Irrigation District, telling them to let a pulse of water through the dam on the Stanislaus.

It's unclear which federal fishery agency sent the letter? What the...? How many "federal fisheries agencies" do we need? Oh, but that's right, Democrats: there's nothing to cut in the vast federal bureaucracy. My bad.

But upon receipt, Jeff Shields, the manager of SSJID went rogue: “Whose water will be released down the Stanislaus River to satisfy the second pulse flow?” Not his, in other words.

It was the second such order in the past three weeks. The SSJID complied with the first. According to the Manteca Bulletin, a local paper that has been covering the standoff, this flushed out 15,000 acre feet of water and 23 steelhead trout. But this latest order, which would reportedly use another 12,000 acre feet to save only six fish, was too much for Shields. (Fisheries agencies haven’t yet confirmed that count.)

The two water "pulses" represent nearly 10 billion gallons of water that the feds want to use to save a grand total of less than 30 fish, when instead it could be used to irrigate farmland, feed and water animals, as well as meet residential water needs.

So Lewis said no to the Bureau, and then secured legal counsel. “We tried to work with the Bureau for the last several years. We’ve sent dozens of letters and ideas about how to manage the river more prudently and other issues that we felt needed to be addressed because they were affecting our water,” Shields told the Manteca Bulletin. “I understand that they’re busy and they have a river that they have to manage and water that they have to take care of, but we’re busy as well—we have water that we have to manage and people that we have to look out for as well.” According to Shields, this water is better used on human interests, like agriculture and homes.

These eco-Marxists are completely insane. Off their rockers.

The entire federal bureaucracy (I'm not including our defense and intel budgets) needs to be slashed by 75 percent. For starters.

QOTD: "I think this is a very ominous message. The president has been all over the place trying to explain the deal with Iran, trying to sell the deal with Iran. I think he’s being a terrible salesman. I think by the White House doing this they are deteriorating the relationship between the United States and its only ally in the region to a very, very low point… This is not about your watch this is about the life of our children and grandchildren as well as your grandchildren. So if you don’t care what happens in 20 months after you leave the White House, we do.

And those words, “This will never happen under my watch,” echo very ominously the words of Neville Chamberlain the Prime Minister of England who came back from Munich and said there would be peace in our time and ended up bringing this world its worst war, World War II. SJP ("Hamas on Campus") Claims Another Head

Rich Baehr writes:

A distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Connecticut College for Women, Andrew Pessin, who once taught at Kenyon, has been hounded from his job after becoming a target by the campus SJP [Students for Justice in Palestine, a group dubbed "Hamas on Campus"], their faculty friends, and their fellow haters around the world, who bombarded the Professor with vicious email and threats. The "crime" Professor Pessin committed was using some colorful language in a post last August during the war in Gaza to describe [the vicious, terrorists known as] Hamas. Pessin’s real crime is that he is Jewish and pro-Israel, a combination which appears to make him unique among the faculty at this liberal arts college. The real assault on Pessin began six months after his original post during the war, and though he apologized to the student who claimed to have been offended, the campaign against him was in full attack mode by then.

I have attached below some articles that have been written on this issue to give you some background on Pessin’s case. He is currently on medical leave, living off campus for his own safety and sanity. Several months back, his wife had surgery for a brain tumor, and she has not fully recovered. Professor Pessin has his hands full, and he should not fight the evil coming at him alone.

I have provided below the email address of the President of Connecticut College. Feel free to let her know that the issue here is not a Facebook post, but a drive to make Connecticut College “free" of pro-Israel people. So far, the President has acted badly, creating a kind of moral equivalence between someone typing a Facebook post about Hamas, and the campus responding en masse, as if it had been mortally wounded by the post six or seven months after the fact, and turning with real ugliness on a once popular and respected Professor. In the last few weeks, the college has added three new Deans of Equity and Inclusion.

Ted Cruz Electrifies the NRA Leadership Forum

Even the saps at The Olde York Times were impressed:

Nearly every potential Republican presidential contender will be speaking Friday on a single issue: gun rights.

As First Draft considered how best to parse their speeches at the National Rifle Association’s Leadership Forum in Nashville, we hit on a bullet-point approach. And yes, that sent us down a gun-pun rabbit hole. (Or was it into a foxhole?) Senator Ted Cruz of Texas addressed the forum.

NRA Rating: A+

Guns Owned: Two

Bull’s-Eye: Mr. Cruz recalled sending a letter to Harry Reid following the Sandy Hook tragedy promising to “filibuster any legislation that undermines the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.” That comment was met with an extended standing ovation.

Misfire: None. He relied heavily on the stump speech he has been polishing as the first Republican to announce his candidacy.

“Cold Dead Hands” Moment: Recalling the beginnings of the Texas Revolution, Mr. Cruz said: “If Hillary Clinton is going to join with Barack Obama and the gun grabbers and come after our guns, then what I say, is come and take it.”

Other Ammo: As part of his stump, he often talks about Iran and “repealing Obamacare,” and he touched on nearly all of those issues.

Cross Hairs: He pulled no punches with his criticism of President Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton on their foreign policy. He also repeated his favorite line about the Ready For Hillary Super Pac making its first hire: head of email security.

Pump Action: Even in front of over a crowd of more than 4,000, Mr. Cruz enjoyed the call-and-response that follows him on the campaign trail.

The best video blog on the planet -- The Right Scoop, a 2014 Fabulous 50 Blog Award Winner -- has Cruz's entire speech.

THE GRANDPAPPY OF OBAMACARE CIRCLES THE DRAIN: African AIDS Tourists Overwhelming England's NHS

Writing at The Commentator, Vincent Cooper shines a spotlight on the fiscal tsunami engulfing the United Kingdom.

...the NHS is so short of resources that patients in some areas had to be treated in a hospital car park. But if that is true, was not Nigel Farage right to condemn the health service for putting the treatment of foreigners above the needs of those who have paid for that health service and now find themselves being treated in a car park?

Mr Miliband’s solution to hospital car park treatment in the NHS is to promise £2∙5 billion in extra funding. But such a promise shows the Labour Party to be in total denial about the nature of the economic problems facing the NHS.

Consider this fact. Public Health England estimates that of the almost 108,000 people who are HIV positive, almost 60,000 are from Africa. The cost to the NHS of anti-retroviral drug treatment for these African health tourists is well over £1 billion annually and rising, as more and more Africans and others hear about what’s on offer from the tax payer.

And it’s not only HIV tourists. There is the same costly problem with Hepatitis B, another big crowd-puller from all over the world to the NHS, and a disease which can be even more costly than HIV to treat.

But the costs of health tourism to the tax payer are not confined to medical treatment alone. Many of those HIV tourists would be in receipt of housing and other welfare allowances, quite possibly for the rest of their lives.

...The British Labour Party, once a genuine British workers’ party, has now morphed into a fanatically pro-immigration welfarist party that uses the NHS for its own political ends. It turns all debate on the NHS into a party political competition about who will pour the most money into a voracious NHS bottomless pit.

Unless we eradicate the scourge of Obamacare, that's the future of health care here in the U.S.

Please consider: "The Marxist-Democrat Left is using illegal immigration to destroy America".

THE POWER OF TED CRUZ: Top 5 Increasingly Shrill and Hysterical Attacks on the Conservative Superstar

Check these out:

Ted Cruz super PACs: A new era of political fundraising
MJ Lee and Jeremy Diamond, CNN

Ted Cruz backers have ushered in a new era for super PACs.

Supporters of the Texas Republican presidential candidate made a bombshell announcement this week — that a network of four affiliated super PACs will have raised an eye-popping $31 million by the end of the week. The disclosure, coming within weeks of Cruz launching his campaign for president, has sent deep ripples through the political fundraising world.

The idea of not one, but multiple, affiliated super PACs ostensibly working together to haul in donations for the same presidential candidate is unprecedented, campaign finance experts say.

Super PACs? Interesting how CNN exhibited virtually no interest in Barack Obama's 2008 and 2012 money-laundering websites.

Is Ted Cruz Latino enough?
Maria Recio, McClatchy Washington Bureau

Ted Cruz has a Latino name. He has a Latino background. And he’s one of the few Latinos to have ever run for the presidential nomination of a major party.

But is he Latino enough?

Somehow I don't see anyone questioning whether a Democrat is "Latino enough".

As we’ve said before the people who most fear a legitimate (semi) libertarian movement within the GOP are the old big government Republicans, it’s not liberals. (At least not yet.)

There is a cadre of Washington DC neocons who are running around with their hair on fire right now because of the warm response Rand Paul continues to get from the public. The establishment, the consultants, the big military, the “deficits don’t matter” crowd feel right now that they have been outmaneuvered by Paul. And they can’t believe it.

Of course there is a long way to go before even the primaries start. People like Ramesh Ponnuru will have plenty of time to make their case for Jeb Bush or, well, I guess Jeb Bush. Perhaps the country will turn and embrace yet another big government Republican. (Not to mention yet another Bush.) But I think that is an increasingly tall order.

Rand Paul really isn’t a libertarian. He has strong libertarian tendencies, but he has some serious conservative tendencies as well. This is actually where I think the great swathe of suburban, more or less Republican voters are. They are sick of the endless wars. They want taxes simplified and reduced. They want to be left alone in their private lives. They are not interested in regulating the private lives of others. And by and large Republicans are not terribly fond of GW Bush who is seen by many as a spendthrift and an unwise executive.

Ponnuru and his friends at AEI probably see the GW Bush years in a different light however.

QOTD: "U.S. District Court Judge Andrew Hanen, who is hearing the lawsuit brought by 26 states against Obama’s illegal amnesty plan has lowered the boom on Obama and his thugs. On Tuesday, he upheld his injunction barring Obama from implementing his amnesty program and then issued a sanction against the Obama administration for lying in his court. He has ordered the DOJ to release all communications about the March 3rd advisory, including the names of those involved. This places Obama in a bad position because this judge does not bow to pressure from the administration and his tamestream press.

The order was issued because Obama’s lawyers told the judge that they would not implement Obama’s newest executive order giving work permits and temporary amnesty to up to 4 million illegal aliens. Obama’s lawyers later admitted that they had approved work permits for over 108,000 illegal aliens during the period they said they would take no action." --Steven Ahle

PATRICK HENRY: I fear the Constitution might lead to an Obama

By Patrick Henry

Your President may easily become king. Your Senate is so imperfectly constructed that your dearest rights may be sacrificed by what may be a small minority; and a very small minority may continue forever unchangeably this government, although horridly defective. Where are your checks in this government? Your strongholds will be in the hands of your enemies. It is on a supposition that your American governors shall be honest, that all the good qualities of this government are founded; but its defective and imperfect construction puts it in their power to perpetrate the worst of mischiefs, should they be bad men; and, sir, would not all the world, from the eastern to the western hemisphere, blame our distracted folly in resting our rights upon the contingency of our rulers being good or bad?

Show me that age and country where the rights and liberties of the people were placed on the sole chance of their rulers being good men, without a consequent loss of liberty! I say that the loss of that dearest privilege has ever followed, with absolute certainty, every such mad attempt.

If your American chief be a man of ambition and abilities, how easy is it for him to render himself absolute! The army is in his hands, and if he be a man of address, it will be attached to him, and it will be the subject of long meditation with him to seize the first auspicious moment to accomplish his design; and, sir, will the American spirit solely relieve you when this happens?
