NICE WORK, LI'L FALWELL: Evangelical Trump Drops F-Bomb in Major Speech With Kids in Audience

Last week, Iowa evangelical leader Robert Vander Plaats expressed surprise and confusion over the endorsement of Donald Trump by Jerry Falwell's son:

I’m just confused and flabbergasted by the endorsement. I don’t think his endorsement is going to move people. I think when people see Trump is not a conservative—he’s pro-choice. He’s not going to stand up for marriage. He’s not going to stand up to an activist court. He wants to make deals with the establishment and he’s shown judgment and temperament that people are very concerned [about].

As if to reinforce the notion that Trump is an opportunistic chameleon, today Mr. Trump dropped the F-bomb in a major speech in front of thousands of children.

Yes, Rubio's Amnesty bill provided legal status, work permits for criminals

By Jeremy Beck

Fact Check's Robert Farley looked into Ted Cruz's claim that Marco Rubio's immigration bill would have granted legal status (and work permits) to criminal aliens. Farley's piece, "Cruz Distorts Rubio's Immigration Stance," was picked up by USA Today and The Huffington Post among others.

Farley concluded that, "one could argue that Rubio’s plan would allow those convicted of some misdemeanor crimes to obtain legal residency, but Cruz’s blanket claim that Rubio “advocates amnesty for criminals who are here illegally” omits the criminal exceptions that Rubio has outlined."

U.N. TO OBAMA BFF IRAN: Hey, if you could stop raping and executing 9-year olds, that would be greaaaaaaaaat

By Russ Read

The U.N. body charged with protecting the rights of children has told the government of Iran that its laws allowing sex with girls as young as 9-years-old and capital punishment of minors must be changed.

The U.N. Committee on the Rights of the Child announced it’s condemnation of Iran’s practices Thursday after 18 experts completed a review of 14 countries, including Iran. Iran’s current law allows the state to execute minors for capital crimes, a violation of international agreements as well as the forced marriage of young girls.

HIJRAH: Why Is Small Town America Being Flooded With Islamic "Refugees"?

By Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Looks like my old stomping grounds in Montana are heating up. People there are not taking Obama’s plan to force refugees on them lying down. There was a protest in Missoula, Montana at 10 a.m. this morning over that very issue. It is just one of many battles brewing out there in small town America.

Small towns in the sparsely populated parts of America are the perfect place to relocate these refugees. Especially if your agenda includes politically terraforming the country. The West is historically conservative in their politics. Many are Republicans and Libertarians. Even the Democrats hearken back to an earlier time when they were more conservative in nature. Obama and the Democrats can’t have that. They need to have an entire country willing to submit to Marxist diktats. They need areas seeded with those who will vote Democrat and ensure that they stay in power no matter what.

VILE: Torrent of Appalling, Anti-Israel Screeds Discovered in Hillary Email Dump

By Rabbi Shmuley Boteach

Server dump reveals Clinton confidants savaging Prime Minister and plotting against Israel

Earlier this week, I wrote about Hillary Clinton’s interactions with Sid Blumenthal and her troubling praise of his son, Max Blumenthal’s anti-Israel agenda. Mr. Blumenthal, one of her most trusted advisers, sent her dozens of anti-Israel articles, ideas and advice during her time as Secretary of State. But the stream of anti-Israel advice received by Ms. Clinton was much more comprehensive. Now, we see emails between Ms. Clinton and other advisors and the results are equally appalling.

"Select, Do Not Settle"

By Dan from New York

When I was a kid growing up in NYC, a big men’s clothing store (Barney’s) used this as its tagline: “Select, Don’t Settle.” Many years later, the thought now applies to Ted Cruz. It about sums it up for me. He’s going to be a great president. The antidote to eight dismal years of Obama’s regime. And best of all...

QOTD: "After suppressing his inner rage at having been beaten for about 24 hours, Trump broke loose with a bizarre Twitter barrage accusing Cruz of having stolen the caucus from him. Trump’s accusation of fraud are predictably lame, bitter, and lacking in credibility. Since no one is claiming that Cruz’s people actually stole votes or falsified the results, all this amounts to is comical and childish sour grapes, especially since they come from a candidate that has spent the last six months hurling abuse at any and all rivals.

Perhaps Trump’s fans will buy into his sense of grievance, but it remains to be seen whether this sort of thing, which reflects the flip side of the confident, brash personality that voters seemed to like, will do him any good. But whether this is one more misstep by Trump in the wake of his foolish debate boycott or not, it’s pretty clear that Cruz won’t be forming any coalition with him." --Jonathan S. Tobin

GOPe FAUX CONTROVERSY #705: CNN and Rubio Campaign spread rumors that Carson was dropping out

Renee Nal, writing at Trevor Loudon's site, offers a comprehensive timeline of the rumors that spread like wildfire during the Iowa Caucus votes that Ben Carson had dropped out.

The always erudite and reasoned intellect known as Donald J. Trump, who recently likened Carson to a child molester, immediately called Cruz a cheater and demanded that Iowa re-convene their cauci.

But the facts, as Nal documents, are very different than the reality distortion field that often surrounds Mr. Trump.

"A REAL DUMMY": Mr. Trump's Impressive Talent as a Lying Bully Exposed (Chapter #633)

The tireless Jeff Dunetz has broken another intriguing scoop regarding Donald J. Trump's impressive talent as a world-class lying bully.

The backdrop of the story is simple: a political consultant named Cheri Jacobus was approached by the Trump campaign in May of 2015. A few days ago, though, the Trump campaign recounted the employment situation differently:

THE REAL MARCO RUBIO IN A SINGLE TWEET: "Legalization Comes First -- It Is Not Conditional"

Marco Rubio has spent his entire Senate career fighting tooth and nail for Amnesty.

In advancing his "Gang of Eight" immigration scheme, he collaborated with the loathsome Chuck Schumer, along with Dick Durbin, Michael Bennet, Bob ("Want some candy, little girl?") Menendez, Jeff Flake, and the same-sex senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

Most importantly, however, Rubio told a Spanish language television audience his real plan for legalizing the 20 million or more illegal aliens in the U.S.:

QOTD: "Love him or hate him, Cruz knows the Constitution. By high school he had memorized the thing, thanks to an after-school program run by the Free Enterprise Institute, which had the teenage Cruz studying the Federalist Papers and traveling the state with a troupe of like-minded adolescents billed as the “Constitutional Corroborators.” His undergraduate thesis, at Princeton, was about the historical and theoretical underpinnings of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments. After attending law school, at Harvard, he landed clerkships in a federal appeals court, then at the Supreme Court. And so on.

In light of his lifelong obsession with the subject, I am reasonably confident that Cruz’s diabolical plans, and thirst for world domination, are ultimately constrained by his own fealty to the supreme law of the land. What’s more, Cruz has specific expertise in the constitutional limits of the office he’s currently aiming for. His arguments against the president’s executive overreach have been backed by unique professional credentials, which actually exceed Obama’s. Both men are graduates of Harvard Law, and have been professors of constitutional law. Cruz is also the person who has successfully argued, at the Supreme Court, that an executive order issued by George W. Bush amounted to an unconstitutional violation of the separation of powers." --Erica Grieder

Failed Dept. of Education Cyber-Security Chief Ran Car Detailing, Home Theater Businesses On the Side

By Ethan Barton

Hundreds of millions of Americans are at risk of identity theft because the Department of Education’s cyber chief spent his time detailing cars and allowing his office’s morale to crumble.

The Department of Education’s inspector general has repeatedly reported the agency is “vulnerable to security threats.” The watchdog simultaneously investigated Chief Information Officer (CIO) Danny Harris – who received more than $200,000 in federal bonuses – for side businesses that involved his subordinates, according to House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz .

LIMBAUGH: Trump Lost Iowa Because He Attacked Cruz ‘Like A Liberal Democrat'

By Christian Datoc

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday that Donald Trump lost the Iowa caucus because his criticism of Ted Cruz made him sound “like a liberal Democrat.”

“I don’t think Trump skipping the debate had a thing to do with what happened last night,” began Limbaugh. “This is a Republican primary. It’s Iowa. Conservatives win in Iowa.”

The Constitution, Donald Trump and the Sarah Palin I Used to Know

By Jen Kuznicki

How is it possible to suggest that after all the exposure that Donald Trump has had, the positions he’s taken, and the smack he’s talked, that he is a constitutional candidate who most represents the constitutional restoration of our government, free market capitalism, and a return to our Judeo-Christian principles?

It seemed awfully strange that Sarah Palin would try to help Donald Trump, given that her most memorable speeches and work always seemed to track toward our founding and constitutional principles. I have been a Palin fan since 2008; in fact, my first ever published piece was in defense of this great Hockey Mom from the Great White North, who thought outside the box and drove the establishment crazy. She was the first true maverick of recent years.

A rally in Council Bluffs on Sunday hardly filled the middle school gymnasium, and drew out-of-state gawkers, memorabilia seekers, and Iowa voters who were there just to see the spectacle. His leading surrogate, Sarah Palin, was received with silence in introducing him Monday in Cedar Rapids. Empty seats continued at his events. He notably declined to predict victory on Monday’s morning shows.

It was clear that the public’s obsession with polls had obscured central realities about the trajectory of the race. Cruz had a well-organized machine that was far more valuable than the hype manufactured by Trump. Rubio’s aspirational message caught on late, as his crowds got bigger and his support inched upwards. Trump’s supporters were ideologically all over the map, and many of his college-educated backers defected to Rubio at the last minute. (Entrance polls showed Rubio was seen as the most electable Republican, contrary to all the media polls showing Trump with that advantage.)

Even with Trump’s defeat, this is now a true three-candidate race. Cruz has cemented his standing as the candidate backed by the conservative grassroots—which should hold him in good stead for a long while. His organization was the best in the state. NEW EMAILS REVEAL: Hillary and State Department Operated Secret I.T. Network to Skirt Rules

By Judicial Watch

‘We should … set up a stand-alone PC in the Secretary’s office, connected to the internet (but not through our system) to enable her to check her emails from her desk’

Judicial Watch announced today that it recently received records from the Department of State disclosing plans by senior State Department officials to set up a “stand-alone PC” so that Clinton could check her emails in an office “across the hall” through a separate, non-State Department computer network system. Referencing the special Clinton computer system, Under Secretary for Management Patrick F. Kennedy, writes Clinton Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills, “The stand-alone separate network PC is a great idea.” The emails are from January 23-24, 2009, a few days after Clinton was sworn in as Secretary of State.

RUBIO CAMPAIGN ADMITS: Uhm, Yeah, Marco's "Gang of Eight" Amnesty Bill Really Didn't Secure the Border First

By Julia Hahn

In a remarkable interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer following Thursday night’s presidential debate, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)’s campaign spokesman, Alex Conant, admitted that the 2013 Gang of Eight bill, which Rubio co-authored and ushered through the Senate, did not secure the border first.

In the Friday interview, Blitzer pressed Conant on whether in 2013 Sen. Rubio “called up the [former] Florida governor [Jeb Bush] and asked him for his support for a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants in the United States.” Conant dodged the question twice, refusing to directly answer whether Rubio had called Governor Bush to ask for him to endorse the 2013 amnesty bill. Rubio’s bill, unlike Jeb’s book, pushed citizenship for illegal aliens of all ages.
