DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS OF GUN CONTROL: Fraud, Theatrics, and Murder in Obama's Adopted Hometown

By Institute for Legislative Action

President Obama’s hometown of Chicago has been controlled by his political party since at least 1931. The city is a reflection of a certain style of politics and philosophy, one in which single-party rule, corruption, and the casual disregard of human rights all go hand-in-hand. Perhaps the city’s residents have become accustomed to this state of affairs, but for the rest of us, the Windy City is a cautionary tale of what America could look like if Barack Obama and his cronies were allowed to reign unopposed and unchecked.

A Time For Choosing

By Cliff Kincaid

Donald J. Trump has a strange and unhealthy fascination with the “strength” of those who pummel, terrorize, and kill people. At the Miami Republican debate, he stood by comments in support of the Communist Chinese dictatorship for killing protesters during a “riot,” and he praised the leading killer in the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, for being “strong.” Despite these shocking assertions, Trump was seen by some in the media as turning in a respectable or even “presidential” performance. At least he didn’t talk about his body parts or use obscenities.

Once again, according to Trump’s leading media cheerleader, the Drudge Report, the New York businessman won the debate. Drudge said he got 63 percent in an online survey, versus 24 percent for Senator Ted Cruz.

It seemed bizarre to me. But in a matter-of-fact manner, moderator Jake Tapper noted that Trump has been criticized for “praising authoritarian dictators.” He quoted Trump as saying about China’s massacre of pro-democracy protesters at Tiananmen Square, “When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it, then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength. That shows you the power of strength.”

The Big, Ugly Side of Illegal Immigration

By Mark Levin

Attorney, author, and radio host Mark R. Levin
There is a big, ugly side of illegal immigration.

There’s all kinds of crimes being committed by people who aren’t supposed to be here, foreigners in this country who are not being tracked. Some are deported. Some come back. They have no problem getting back into this country. All we hear about are little children, but everybody who’s in this country illegally is not a little child. Forty to 45 percent of the people who are here illegally have overstayed their visas. They’re not children. That’s a crime. But there are other people in this country who are criminals. They don’t love America. They love killing Americans.

For instance, there’s this story about Pablo Serrano-Vitorino...

...He was deported from the country almost 12 years ago, but he came back to the United States again illegally. He killed four men in Kansas City, Kansas late Monday night. That launched a 12-hour-long manhunt across the entire Midwest. He committed another homicide in Missouri. Then he fled that state. He was arrested on a highway in Montgomery County, Missouri after he approached another citizen with a gun. So he’s under 24-hour hold in the Montgomery County jail.

He killed five men in a period of 48 hours or so. He’s here illegally...

NASTY: Bill Clinton's Disgusting Flatulence Problems Date Back to White House Years

It's not just Granny Catlady who stinks. It's also her husband:

Clinton became so flatulent at one point during his presidency that his close friend and biographer Taylor Branch “worried about his health,” according to an audio diary kept by Branch to record his thoughts after interviews with the president.

“I haven’t really noted this before because I know it’s a little embarrassing, but tonight I noticed it a lot,” said Branch after an interview with Clinton on May 11, 1998. “A lot of times when he was standing up, he was very flatulent.”

Clinton’s flatulence was so bad that it served as “an accompaniment in the background” of their conversations, Branch said...

INSIDE HILLARY'S EMAIL SERVER: The Entire Criminal Enterprise Known as the Clinton Foundation Laid Bare

By America Rising

It’s a well-established fact that by setting up her private email server in the basement of her New York home, Secretary Clinton was able to avoid accountability through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

The Wall Street Journal’s Kim Strassel penned an important op-ed last night that takes a closer look at the other reason Clinton set up a non-governmental email: the Clinton Foundation. By using one private email account, Clinton was free to conduct both State Department and Clinton Foundation business—often overlapping—on the same email account. The same is likely true for close aide Huma Abedin, who in fact worked simultaneously for the State Department and the Clinton Foundation (oh, and for Clinton in a private capacity and the Clinton-tied Teneo Consulting).

Here are just a few of the reasons behind Clinton’s private server:

RED ALERT: Hillary Grand Jury Convened -- FBI Also Pursuing Clinton Influence Peddling

By Richard Pollock

Department of Justice officials have impaneled a federal grand jury in the Hillary Clinton email case and FBI agents have launched a second, separate investigation on political corruption involving the former secretary of state’s official activities and the Clinton Foundation, a former U.S. attorney told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Joseph E. diGenova, who served as U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia for four years, said Wednesday he believes the FBI is investigating two separate Clinton scandals.

“The Bureau has between 100 and 150 agents assigned to the case. They would not have that many people assigned to a classified information case,” he told TheDCNF, addressing Clinton’s use of a private email server located at her New York home.

DEAR GOPe: Unite Behind Ted Cruz --- Or Die.

That's the message David French has for the GOP establishment:

Here’s what the math says: John Kasich and Marco Rubio, you have no hope of becoming the GOP nominee. Even if you win your home states, the only thing that will do is maintain the four-person dynamic under which Trump thrives. Even if you are fortunate enough to work cooperatively to deny Trump an absolute majority of delegates, do either of you — in your right mind — believe that a convention dominated by Trump and Cruz delegates is going to unite behind you? They’d sooner riot (and I’m only partially joking).

We’ve given the multi-candidate “blind ambition tour” exactly 23 states and one territory to work, and here’s the score: Trump 15, Cruz 7, Rubio 2, and Kasich . . . zero. I think that’s a sufficient sample size. Let’s try something else...

FOR THE WIN: Chicago Tribune Refuses to Endorse Any Democrat for President

By Wallace P. Crundersnap, III

After endorsing Barack Obama three times for President, the Chicago Tribune is refusing to endorse either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders.

With a sluggish economy and skyrocketing debt, all we’ve heard from the Democrats are promises of more spending that ignore “economic reality.”

Here are the highlights of the Tribune’s non-endorsement.

THE JOB NOBODY WANTS, PART VI: Jordan out for #SCOTUS

By Cliff van Durstenburg, Esq.

Now this is getting absurd. After Loretta Lynch dropped out of consideration last night, CNN reports today that 11th Circuit Judge Adalberto Jordan has withdrawn his name from SCOTUS consideration, making him now the SIXTH potential nominee to do so:

Adalberto Jordan, a federal judge in Miami seen as a top contender for the Supreme Court vacancy, has withdrawn his name from contention, a lawmaker told CNN on Wednesday.

Those joining Jordan and Lynch in saying “no thanks” to Obama on SCOTUS in last few weeks include Senator Cory Booker, California Attorney General Kamala Harris, Senator Amy Klobuchar, and Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval. It’s no surprise everyone is backing away from this mission, as Marc Thiessen wrote in The Washington Post last week:

OBAMA BFF: Next War with Israel “Will Reach the Galilee”

By The Tower

The Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah warned that fighting during a future war with Israel “will reach the Galilee,” Israel Hayom reported on Sunday, citing Foreign Policy.

“In the next war, Hezbollah won’t stay on the borders, and the Israeli settlements in the north will not be protected from this,” said a source close to the terrorist group. “Hezbollah will bring the war to them, and Israel’s biggest concern is over Hezbollah’s experience in Syria, as it now has the experience to be offensive rather than just defensive.”

STONEWALL: State Dept. Says it Could Delay Hillary Email Review Until After Election Day

By Matthew Vadum

The State Department announced it may put off its review of the sensitive classified information former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent on her illegal, insecure email server until after Election Day.

The server is at the heart of the scandal over Clinton's mishandling of an Islamic terrorist attack in militant-infested Benghazi, Libya on the 11th anniversary of 9/11 that left four Americans, including U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens, dead. Even now, three years after the assault, the Obama administration has failed to provide an autopsy report about Stevens who was initially reported to have been ritualistically sodomized before being murdered by Muslim terrorists.

But this possible delay is a transparent ploy intended to benefit Clinton's presidential campaign.

Rubio himself is “bullish” on his odds of winning the critical primary, despite some advisers who are less hopeful and believe a loss there would damage him politically in both the short- and long-term...

... “He doesn’t want to get killed in his home state,” one source familiar with the discussions said, noting “a poor showing would be a risk and hurt his political future.”

Most of his advisers agree he does not have a path to the nomination and some are advising him to get out ahead of the March 15 primary.

Sources within the campaign also say the pressure will only continue to mount following an expected disappointing showing Tuesday, when voters in Michigan, Mississippi, Hawaii and Idaho make their picks in the GOP primary." --Jamie Gangel and Tal Kopan, CNN

Trump's Cult of Personality

By Richard Larsen

The most disturbing aspect to the Donald Trump candidacy is not the empty rhetoric, non-substantive solutions, or even his brash politically-incorrect style. The most disturbing aspect of his candidacy is what it says about so many of our fellow citizens. A veritable personality cult is developing around the GOP frontrunner rivaling that of the Democrat nominee from four and eight years ago. And it’s just as speciously founded.

Some assert that the Trump bandwagon is reshaping the Republican Party. Some go even further and claim that his candidacy is simply bringing out sordid and ignoble characteristics of the party that have been heretofore more latent and simmering under the veneer surface of decency. Such characterizations are erroneous.

SHE THINKS DEMOCRATS ARE VERY, VERY STUPID: Hillary Continues Shrieking Her "No Classified Emails" Lies

By America Rising

During Monday's Fox News town hall, Hillary Clinton repeated her outrageous claims that her private email server contained no classified material. Perhaps she could inform the FBI, the State Department, and various Inspectors General, which have designated more than 2,000 emails as classified, including 104 sent by Clinton herself, and 22 with a TOP SECRET designation.

During the town hall, Secretary Clinton faced a series of withering questions about her private email server. Among them was a quote from last year, in which Clinton claimed her private server contained no classified material.

QOTD: "...most of the Republican establishment sees illegal immigration not as legality or illegality, right or wrong, chaos or order, but only in terms of electoral politics. Discomfort with illegal immigration is mostly an abstraction, one that Trump yahoos and “nativists” and “xenophobes” whine about—and by such whining supposedly undermine the future demographic visions of beltway handlers...

...Because Trump anger is not about consistency on the issues, but raw emotion, refuting Trump by rationally exposing the myriad of his hypocrisies and vulgarities has not so far won over too many of his supporters. That might have been easily possible a year ago, had a candidate tried to infuse some passion into a workable agenda and shown some affinity with those who are otherwise written off as Ice Road Truckers or Ax Men embarrassments. Or had a candidate far earlier, as Rubio apparently is now, been willing to blow up his campaign by descending to Trump’s crude level and in kamikaze fashion trading repugnant Trumpian smears, blow for blow. Or had a Kasich, Carson, or Bush far earlier bowed out.

But at least for a while longer, millions of Republicans and lots of Reagan Democrats would gladly prefer to be wrong with Trump than right with anyone else." --Victor Davis Hanson
