You graduated high school in 2011. Your teenage years were a struggle. You grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. Your mother was the leader of the family and worked tirelessly to keep a roof over your head and food on your plate.

Academics were a struggle for you and your grades were mediocre at best. The only thing that made you stand out is you weighed 225 lbs and could run 40 yards in 4.2 seconds while carrying a football.

Your best friend was just like you, except he didn’t play football. Instead of going to football practice after school, he went to work at McDonalds for minimum wage.

A TACTICAL VIEW: Mysteries of the Las Vegas Shooter

I set aside some time for more details of the Vegas shooting to emerge before writing this article. A few important data points have been released, but I have to say that this remains one of the most confusing terror incidents in decades.

The tactical and strategic thought applied in this attack denotes a sophisticated and experienced shooter, yet, we are told by Stephen Paddock's family and girlfriend that there was no indication that he had such knowledge or experience. There were some advanced tactical decisions involved in every aspect of the staging of the event, yet, there were also a few glaring mistakes that do not fit. Beyond this, there is evidence that Paddock (the alleged shooter) did not act alone, yet, the official mainstream narrative continues to tell us that he was a lone wolf.

The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence is ramping up investigation into former President Barack Obama administration’s campaign to “unmask” President Donald Trump aides who were incidentally surveilled in meetings with foreign officials, The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group has learned.

The committee is also intensifying a probe into Fusion GPS, a private “opposition research” company that distributed a salacious memo on Trump, called the “Trump Dossier.”

Democrats should be careful in wanting an all-or-none position on some sort of legalization for the Dreamers: they might end up with the latter.

(Washington Post) Some House Democrats are raising the specter of withholding support for must-pass spending legislation later this year in response to President Trump’s hard line immigration proposals — meaning the fate of roughly 690,000 younger undocumented immigrants could become a major factor in negotiations to keep the government open after December.

Will the media assign blame to Democrats if a budget bill doesn’t get done and we get a shutdown? Of course not, but, the Trump Twitter machine won’t let them get away with that.

LOUISVILLE BASKETBALL: A Program That May Deserve More Than Just an NCAA "Death Penalty"

Last week I wrote this in my own blog about a scandal-​plagued state uni­ver­sity in Ken­tucky: “Is Louisville a col­lege with an ath­letic pro­gram? Or is it an ath­letic pro­gram that offers some col­lege classes?”

Late last month the shad­owy and cor­rupt realm of NCAA men’s col­lege bas­ket­ball, whose play­ers are nom­i­nally ama­teurs, was shat­tered by the rev­e­la­tion of an FBI inves­ti­ga­tion of pay­ments to recruits that allegedly comes from Adi­das. Ten peo­ple have been arrested, includ­ing four assis­tant coaches at Power Five col­lege hoops pro­grams. More arrests are expected.

But most of the media focus on the scan­dal is on the the Uni­ver­sity of Louisville, where no one so far faces charges.

There were 59 murders in Chicago in September, the city where black lives don’t seem to matter to liberals and gun control zealots. The horrible death toll in the Las Vegas massacre is just a normal month in the gun control and murder capital of America. The Democratic caucus in Congress that seizes on Las Vegas as another crisis too terrible to waste in their pursuit of gun control says nothing about the Chicago carnage for which nary an NFL millionaire takes a knee while whining about social justice:

The murder toll in Las Vegas on Sunday makes it the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.

VEGAS TAXI DRIVER VIDEO: The Zapruder Film of the Mandalay Massacre?

There are several videos circulating that make it sound as though there were more than one shooter in Vegas.

But none that I've seen compare to this one, which has been called "The Zapruder Film" of the massacre.

In it, there are several bursts of fire that sound very far away and -- pretty much at the same time -- another weapon discharges very close to the camera.

I'd be interested in what others think of this:
