Leftist Numb-Skull Polling Outfit: Donald Trump Wins GOP Nomination! Mike Huckabee a Close Second!

They wish.

Trump's broken the perpetual gridlock we've found at the top of the Republican field, getting 26% to 17% for Mike Huckabee, 15% for Romney, 11% for Newt Gingrich, 8% for Sarah Palin, 5% for Ron Paul, and 4% for Michele Bachmann and Tim Pawlenty.

Trump may be a master showman, but a conservative candidate he ain't.

The man had high praise for Barack Obama in 2008.

"Bush has been so bad, maybe the worst president in the history of this country. He has been so incompetent, so bad, so evil that I don't think any Republican could have won," Trump told NY1.com in an exclusive Nov. 11, 2008, interview... "You know, you can be enemies with people, whether it's Iran, Iraq, or anyplace else and you can still have dialogue. These people wouldn't even talk with him. It's terrible," he said.

Regarding Obama, Trump said, "I think [he's] going to lead through consensus. It's not going to be just a bull run like Bush did. He just did whatever the hell he wanted.

Yeah, Trump's a frickin' genius.

As recently as last year, Trump contributed to the campaigns of the vicious Leftist hacks Charles "Schmucky" Schumer (which is the nickname he prefers, I hear) and Anthony "Horschack" Weiner.

As for the budget deficit, arguably our most pressing crisis, Trump is all but incoherent.

Folks, this election is too important to throw the dice on a modern-day P.T. Barnum. We need a serious, Constitutional conservative. Of the current set of possibilities, I see only Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Mike Pence, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, and Allen West as nominees I could support. Now, some aren't running this year. But some will. And I will support any of them over the hucksters and phonies the Beltway insiders and legacy media are supporting.

The stakes are too damn high in this election.

Hat tips: Memeorandum and Mark Levin.

Well, I'll just have to say you're absolutely spot-on with this post. The weak budget "deal" from Boehner only makes it more obvious how important 2012 is going to be. We must make the right choices. Saul Alinsky himself acknowledged that only conservatism can defeat his tactics. We can not mess around with RINOs and Dem-lites--we are at risk of losing our Republic.

  2. Sorry, this is the same setup as we had in 1996 with Ross Perot. A wealthy businessman to split the votes up for the DNC so their unpopular president gets reelected for a second term. This is a setup, I will bet on it. Trump is a shill for the DNC, he donated thousands to harry reid against Sharron Angle and has supported the DNC in the background all alongg. Don't fall for this people, wake up and send Mr Trump packing soon.

No body you like can beat Obama, though.

Will you support someone who can?

  4. Like a good stalking horse, it's fun to watch him play the field like the amateurs they are.

I watched the whole Perot thing. He was a hopeless Nerd who made good sense, but the nerd angle was played way up by the Media, mocked endlessly by the comedians. This was in part because Perot's business mien and personality were largely unknowable to the GenPop.

Trump is not Perot. Comedians can mock him, the Media can spin him, but he is a force of nature, uncreated by our political machinations (not to say he hasn't profited from them) and uncreated by Media news (not to say he hasn't learned how to manipulate it). He's steered his own course throughout, and after watching the RINOs year after year pawn our national legacy off to foreign agents, we may not have a choice but to trust that for once, a slickmeister might be what is needed. . . as Secretary of Commerce.

    :o)

  5. I don't believe any poll that has suckabee as one of the frontrunners, or Romney for that matter. my stupid party had better get a decent conservative out there! All we need is someone brave like Allen West who will not be afraid to honestly call Barry out on his evil, his nasty connections to awful people, and his islamocoddling & jihadi enabling, and of course his terrible, terrible leadership and complete lack of seriousness. Barry is a useless partyboy, his record of fleeing when he should be working alone should be enough to tank him but there is so very much more that can sink him if only there were a candidate with the balls to address it!
I'm glad Trump has people talking about Barry's fraudulent background, because for three years anyone with legitimate questions was told to STFU, and that's three years too long, but he has a long lefty history which cannot be ignored and I absolutely would not vote for him in the GOP primary. And I don't DO 3rd party voting because in a major election like this it truly IS throwing your vote away and aiding the enemy.

I wonder if The Donald has one of NYC's famous celebrity concealed carry permits and how he feels about those of his wealthy pals who do. And what about the little people? Is having the means of self protection a right or a privilege that government can dispense to a favored few or is the Right to Keep and Bear Arms for defense of self and others an inalienable one?

Inquiring minds will eventually find out. What is clear is that a lot of The Donald's pals write big checks to fund politicians who don't think the little people have a right to anything unless government sez so.

  7. @Joan of.. I am not comparing Trump to Perot intellectually or anything else. He is the new version of Perot, a DNC setup to get their marxist in chief back into the White House to finish off the US for good. Don't fall for it for one second. I like Mr Trump, but he is up to no good here.

Yeah, Trump is nothing as projected.
    A complete 'con artist'...

Yet, we see Conservative FASHION pushing whatever fan fare, fawning yet again over celebrity.

Hannity, Rush, etc., all raced to have THE DONALD on their programs!

The Celebrity peddling is absurd and predictable as prior baseless efforts, like the romanticism about a good buddy of the Maverick, the lobbyist - senator - actor who helped give us the disastrous Campaign Finance Reform. He was never the Reagan they pushed. Nor was the Hockey Mom, who produced tax increases on Oil Companies and 'Climate Panel' Bureaucracy before she abandoned the Governorship to peddle Celebrity and Reality Television.

The point is, so many are stuck on image and hyperbole on Our own side. Rushing to JUMP before having the facts. The same sophistry began to label the Bush Administration a bunch of 'traitors'.

Thankfully, we have Walker, Ryan, Christie, Daniels, Barbour, etc., actually doing the professional hard job in the trenches. Even though the reactionary fashion demeans the hard working professionals from the sidelines every two minutes.

Conservatives used to be stronger. Conservatives used to be serious, patient, resolved, objective, reasoned, fair, etc. But a number of folks in the PUNDITRY game, have taken on letting the wind blow them.

Rush's recent silence while some fools were calling for Boehner's head, on the mighty EIB, was a prime example. Predictably he actually referenced "Bachmann" instead of offering some serious calm and rationale in the face of the emotive fashion. He enabled the worst yet again. It was a primary example of who the PUNDITRY has lost it's way. They are like flags caught in hurricane. They lost their grounding. It is a daily "all over the map" adventure.

Same emotive fashionable offering which has given rise to the folly of the Democratic Party. One can only hope, we don't see more emotive self destruction, or even the nonsensical enabling of the likes of Huckabee, Trump, etc.

    Thank you.

WOW, do we ever think alike.
Those are EXACTLY my six favorite politicians.
No wonder I like this site so much!

Obama has this all wrapped up for 2012. You fundies are so out of touch with reality, with your socialist security checks and socialist Medicare, while screaming
all the while about "Marxism." You folks are a joke. Mainstream America laughs at you.
