Even where action includes affirmative acts towards negative ends. "

One example of this is the John McCain "a bad law is better than no law" principle.
Another is the voting for the lesser of two SELECTED evils.
Another is cajoling others into LIMITING their own choices to your TWO selected evils -- usually by a variety of fallacious arguments an circular reasoning.

Another is the blaming of others for a "de facto" selection of the greater evil by inaction, when the FORCING of the choice between evils was the result of YOUR AFFIRMATIVE ACT.

There is nothing correct, moral, or logical about these ACTIONS. All involve circular or otherwise faulty logic.

They are bald attempts to deceive others and into voting for the selected candidate of the person making the argument -- an argument which always involves false dichotomies; circular reasoning; bandwagoneering; appeals to popularity, emotion, fear, and ridicule; and PRE-EMPTIVE ad hominems.

Remember, you are free to vote for whomever you wish. You may vote for the best candidate, or the lesser of two evils -- neither of which was chosen by you.

DO NOT be bullied by false arguments into making a selection you do not want to make; and do not live in the FEAR of being FALSELY ACCUSED of responsibility for ANY evil, by those who AFFIRMATIVELY select evil -- greater OR lesser.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6034478.post-21333658268527488552012-01-31T14:49:40.957-05:002012-01-31T14:49:40.957-05:00"I don't care if a crippled kangaroo is t..."I don't care if a crippled kangaroo is the GOP candidate."

Your alternative has the added value that we would never have to hear it speak.alanstormnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6034478.post-58161724218636359992012-01-31T12:02:23.755-05:002012-01-31T12:02:23.755-05:00funny isn't it, that great men who lived befor...funny isn't it, that great men who lived before TV and before radio and before cars and before planes and before microwave ovens, KNEW WHAT EVIL WAS AND IS.

they KNEW that this evil never goes away, and always returns to plague free people.

and look at the EVIL ruling us now. spitting on our constitution, ignoring good laws and adding bad laws to help themselves to our money and our freedom.

time to fight, folks.Robertnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6034478.post-61845446069493999802012-01-31T06:13:14.101-05:002012-01-31T06:13:14.101-05:00@Takamas - see the "Energygate Cheat Sheet&qu...@Takamas - see the "Energygate Cheat Sheet" link referenced in the article...directorbluehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00205733284944340787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6034478.post-49580311441646140532012-01-31T02:24:30.888-05:002012-01-31T02:24:30.888-05:00I knew about Solyndra and one other company, but I...I knew about Solyndra and one other company, but I didn't know about those others. I mean w...I think you're overreacting a little. I mean what could possibly be suspicious about Ener1?
Not the fact that 40% of Ener1's stock is owned by Ener1 board member, Boris Zingarevich, a Russian, who reportedly has fairly close connections to Putin and Medved and who is rumored to have been a member of the russian mafia.

This is the same man who bought green car maker, "Think Global AS" in July, after it declared bankruptcy.
Think Global was to be one of Ener1's biggest battery buying customers.

Concerns were raised, back in 2009, about the DOE granting millions of dollars to a company with 40% russian ownership, but, of course, they were ignored.

Also, this may or may not be fishy, since I'm a total dolt when it comes to financials. But in Nov. 2011, just 2 months before Ener1 declared bankruptcy, they signed a $4,500,000 Loan Agreement with Bzinfin S.A.

Bzinfin is "owned and controlled by Mr. Zingarevich."

How could you be suspicious?

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/jul/05/us-tax-dollars-may-aid-russian-earmark-eyed/print/

http://biz.yahoo.com/e/111122/hev8-k.htmlChunkdognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6034478.post-35632717958593285242012-01-30T22:28:35.182-05:002012-01-30T22:28:35.182-05:00From your own links, this is the GOP's strateg...From your own links, this is the GOP's strategy for Conservativism it would seem. If I thought that for one moment that they needed my vote, I'd pony up. They're making it pretty clear that they have the $$ to buy all the votes they need. Or am I missing what GWB did when he couldn't find his veto pen?

I GET the enormity of the situation. I just need convincing that the RNC isn't rotten to its core. Go ahead. I'm listening.

I need to be convinced that the party that gave us McCain hasn't stupidly thought, "well, Moderate McCain was too old, so let's trot out a younger moderate this time."

Convince me that Romney GETS the enormity of the situation.
