GEORGE WILL AND CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Don’t You Get It? You Fools Helped Create Donald Trump!

Longtime "conservative" columnists George Will and Charles Krauthammer are apoplectic about the possibility that Donald Trump may become the Republican Party's nominee for President.

Will's recent temper tantrum in print implied that the establishment should consider support for Hillary Clinton and asserted that the GOP may splinter because the party leadership didn't get its way.

Similarly, Krauthammer has been a constant critic of Trump's run, calling him a "rodeo clown" and "deeply bigoted" for his proposal to suspend Muslim immigration* until the San Bernardino terror attack can be deconstructed.

*In fact, numerous Constitutional scholars have observed that the president has virtually unlimited power to ban immigrants based upon their religion, nation of origin, and other criteria.

It's also fair to say that strict adherents of Islam, who believe Sharia law takes precedence over the laws of the United States, are already prohibited from immigrating to the United States:

The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 [prohibits] entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by "force, violence, or other unconstitutional means." [It] prohibits the entry of Aliens who are members of or affiliated with any organization that [would] publish, circulate and distribute materials teaching or advocating the overthrow by force, violence or other unconstitutional means of the US Government or of all forms of law.

Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the lgovernment, the Constitution, and to the Republic. All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life's guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government. Now the politically correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the US because Islam is a religion. Whether it is a religion is immaterial because the law states that Aliens who are affiliated with any "organization" that advocates the overthrow of our government are prohibited. It also prohibits those who distribute literature that advocates the overthrow of our country, which would include the Koran.

I believe that Will and Krauthammer, extraordinarily visible commentators due both to their syndicated columns and frequent appearances on mainstream television news shows, helped give birth to Donald Trump.

They should be asked the following questions:

One: Despite landmark victories in 2010 and 2014, Republican leaders have ceded their Constitutional powers, ignored the will of their constituents, and refused to offer budget bills using regular order. Why haven't you used your bully pulpits to insist that Republicans negotiate away some of Mr. Obama's most damaging programs using the power of the purse?

Two: Americans overwhelmingly support (by a 14-point margin) construction of a border fence and aggressive deportations of illegal alien criminals. Why haven't you taken up the cause of border security and pilloried Republicans for failing to follow through on their promises?

Three: The Obama-Kerry Iran deal, which could be the most damaging national security agreement in American history, could have been stopped in Congress but for Republican leadership. Why haven't you sounded the alarm, over and over again, calling out Mitch McConnell, Bob Corker, and their ilk for offering $150 billion to a terror state dedicated to the destruction of the United "Great Satan" States?

Gentlemen: if you cared about the wellbeing of the American people -- versus, say, the Chamber of Commerce -- you might better understand their rage and frustration.

Trump may not be a conservative, but he has given voice to Americans of every race, religion, color and creed who believe that the Republic, its Constitution and its tenets must be protected from invasion and usurpation at all costs.

And they do not see the elites in Washington -- of either party -- lifting a finger to address their concerns.

And because you have blithely ignored their increasing unease, you can be said to having helped give birth to the Trump phenomenon.

You are reaping what you have sown.

Outstanding piece but it isn't just the Vichy GOP pundits it s the Vichy GOP that caused not just Trump, Cruz, Sessions but even Perrot. The party needs to be purged of its Ryans, McConnells, etc.

They are just two of the most prominent and visible GOPe columnists. NR and the WSJ are crawling with them-same with TownHall and RedState. You could ask your questions to Hugh Hewitt and he'd defend Boehner/Ryan with his last breathe. Hell, Salem Radio is another hotbed of these fucking traitors.

Even Limbaugh's brother loves McConnell and thinks there is no one better to be Senate Majority Leader.

None of these guys get it, not a one. The anger we're soaking in at what has been done to this country, both from Obama without any opposition and from the Republican Party itself, is lost on them. It's always, we have to take this one but next time we won't take it up the ass.

In the meantime, millions of illegals are pouring across our border, we're allowing a moslim invasion of 100s of 1,000s of "syrian refugees" and more millions of legal moslims to be used to seed conservative small towns, national outbreaks of formally beaten diseases, our national debt is over $20 TRILLION with an estimated $200 TRILLION in promises that can never be kept, soaring true unemployment, real inflation has to be close to 10%, our foreign policy is a disgrace, racial tensions are increasing constantly with no pushback and the nightmare continues unabated because ordinary, hard working Americans have no representation in this government.

And still the likes of Will(who feted Obama after he won) just DoNotGetIt. And when you get down to it, why should they, the Gravy Train continues no matter who is in power. Until Trump came along that is.

  5. The mainstream Republicans do not get it. They are a third of the problem, along with democrats and the administration. Since we cannot convince them with reason, maybe an a$$hole is needed to shake things up.

You can say what you want about Trump. He is a blowhard, in your face type of guy. Maybe that is what is needed now, and to identify issues we face without sanitizing them.

I don't trust Trump one iota. But after what Ryan and the GOPe pulled last week I am warming to him more and more each passing week. The GOP is essentially a laughing stock at this point.

    Will and Krauthammer represent business as usual;
business as usual is killing us slowly.
Trump will either reverse the course or finish us off quick.
    Whichever.

A vote for Trump is like a being on a failing team, closing your eyes, and taking one last shot right at the buzzer. I'm definitely going to take that shot.

Will and Dr K did not help create Trump. Congress, the Republicans in Congress, opened the door that only Trump can walk through now. Congress both let us down, ie did not represent the people who voted for them, but even discussed us as if we disgust them, and now Mr Trump is the only hope we have to save our country. As for who created Trump, only he himself did it. Mr Trump is a self-creation, and I give him praise for it. As for Will And Dr K, my only comment about them is that where once they mattered, they simply don't matter anymore. They did not help create anything, but the have committed suicide. Let them fade away ranting as they go about how superior they are to the American people. Vote for Donald Trump to save our country.

Coming from two of the guys who sat down and broke bread with the asshole in chief, before he took office. The guys who pummel the gope during negotiations on any issue, then cave saying. . ."well what else could they do?". They are all part and parcel of the problem and they just don't see it.

They don't have a clue as to what is going to hit them. It's way past time that the repubic party take the same route as the Whigs. See ya!

  13. The famous NY skating rink in the park was in shambles, out of use. A firm wasted millions and failed. Trump, out of a "Penchant" for loyalty to his city, and for decency, offered to fix the rink at no profit. He finished months ahead of time, right on budget, and did a super ob. People are now enjoying that beautiful rink as we speak. What beautiful and noble thing has any of your 'guys' ever done!? No, you new useful idots... you don't get it..
