What did Arafat and Hitler have in common?

Besides a homicidal hatred of Catholics and Jews, that is.

A Mr. E.G.C. Brandt, a member of the Swedish parliament, nominated Adolf Hitler for the 1939 Nobel Peace Prize. The nomination was withdrawn in a letter dated February 1, 1939.

Good thing the nomination was withdrawn. Based upon wins by folks like Arafish, Hitler was a lock. Hat tip: LGF
