Can a micro-car look cool?

At the New York Auto Show, Toyota unveiled its long-anticipated Scion iQ. It's a valiant attempt to make a SmartCar form-factor look cool. And, in my view, it succeeds.

While still in concept form, the iQ could be "sold here soon." It features 3+1 seating and an asymmetrical dash to reduce the space needed for HVAC.
