QOTD: "As for compromise, the victor doesn't seek compromise, the loser does. To think otherwise is to switch places. Furthermore, compromise per se is irrational. You only compromise depending on what the issue is, and what the compromise means for the broader picture." -- Mark Levin

Bonus QOTD: "Tonight America leaned forward --- and crapped on the Marxist left (and legacy media, but I repeat myself)" -- Me. Just Now.

    NANCY PACK YOUR BAGS !

    No more Speaker for you...

On another note, the mighty EIB is doubling down on the fashion.

As a DIDDOHEAD from 93, I have never seen RUSH ever, this lost without a reasonable path.

He boasts O'Donnell made Republicans in Delaware more Conservative? WHAT? O'Donnell actually weakened the Republicans and Conservatives in the East, perhaps in the rest of the Country as well. Delaware, and their Republican Base, is no more to the right or left because of a disastrous choice in O'Donnell.

Rush is trying the most simplistic sales pitch, about a generic "Reagan Conservatism". It is true this is the most sound political offering, but not the popularity IMAGE game he is selling.

Having Rush Limbaugh actually try to debase Karl Rove is about as dumb as it gets. He has chosen the Palin Identity game, and frankly it simply is not WFB Conservatism which is the strongest.

I expected Rush to be unable to be honest about it - not this garbage "it is what it is". He simply is too deep in his own egotism these days, to offer an objective product, and must rely on a narrative, instead of sound Conservatism.

If someone cannot admit, that most of the TEA PARTY EXPRESS Candidates were so weak, and enabled the Democratic Party. The only ones that did okay, were those in sound Conservative Arenas.

But this is so irresponsible of Rush, not to be honest, to continue this 'war' against the GOP. It really is juvenile, and reminds one of the delusional on the internet. Not quite as disturbed as Riehl, but truly in denial.

Conservatism is a winner for certain, the Democrats are a disaster. But this fluff of an Image movement, pushing a lack of substance, accomplishment, ability, etc., all based on some emotive concept of appearing like the most pure Conservative, is a weakening of the effort.

The Palin Franchise, the Tea Party Express, were utterly misguided to push O'Donnell at this time, and even the other choices, cost us a chance to take the Majority in the Senate, as well as those powerful Committees.

Case in point about Rush, he chastised everyone for making the obvious appearance of 'working together' which is simply good politics. He failed to mention Sarah Palin said the same things on FOX, playing a typical political game. Then Rush went on to associate Whitman and Fiorina with McCain from 2008, saying they lost because they are such vapid moderates. HELLO? Rush, Sarah Palin was the Maverick GOP VP selection. The McCain-Palin Ticket lost dramatically.

The reality is, those pushing a fashion are so contradicted, even the great Man behind the Gold Mic is writing hubris that cannot be cashed. Rush could easily have shown a little pragmatism. Could have embraced all, trying to inspire. He has the talent to unite and sway. Yet even the day prior to the big election, he continued to select a path that spent time demeaning the so-called Republican Establishment. He even ventured towards simplistic populism. It doesn't have to be like this, and in the end he is going to be further upset.

It reminds one of Obama, unwilling to bend with reality. One can get so stuck on a narrative, they are no longer in touch with reality.
