Curious: Rep. Giffords' Official YouTube Channel Subscribes to Only Two People: Rep. Ike Skelton and... Jared Lee Loughner

Perhaps Sheriff Dupnik could take a few moments away from his busy television schedule to investigate the following odd connection between the Giffords campaign and her accused shooter?

An anonymous tipster writes:

Don't know if you saw this or not.

Her [Giffords'] Youtube page has only two subscriptions, one links to the shooter's page (lower left corner, name classit10)

Now, her own political page links back to this youtube site, so it must be hers.
I don't know if someone has hacked this page or what. Strange to say the least.

Indeed. But I'm sure Sheriff Dupnik is well ahead of us and is actively attempting to figure out the tie.

  1. That certainly is disturbing, I recommend taking screenshots before it goes down the memory hole. Sheriff D-bag isn't investigating a damned thing, he's a prog puppet who is too busy trying to assign this leftist crackpot to conservatives - he is wholly unfit to hold his job & needs to be told so repeatedly. Check out HillBuzz for suggestions on how to push back against his incompetence and smears:

Hey, Doug, did you pay up on that bet you lost yet?

  3. @Schmuck,

Absolutely, only no one has submitted a winning entry yet.

    Especially Media Matters.

I see only three reasonable explanations:
    1) A Giffords staff member logged into the account, viewed the crazies page and somehow accidentally subscribed by clicking on the wrong button. Kind of a Rosemary Woods scenerio, but possible.

    2) Her youtube account was hacked by some sicko.

3)The two had some form of a connection. Maybe he pestered her to look at his page and some staff person favorited.

I peg staff memebers (or maybe family) because it's not likely she ran the page herself. Also because of the recent, post attacks sign-ins to her account.

It would seem that whatever the reason it occurred after Dec 26th going by Bing's cache of the page:

  7. Spelling Correction: necessity.

I just wonder why it didn't occurr to Doug Ross that the official You Tube channel was being looked at it now - the website was after all, almost certainly not personally maintained by her.

And that wasn't updated too often anyway. Ike Skelton was defeated for re-election and probably no longer has a feed. She probably had a feed from him because that may have been the senior member of Congress she was most allied with.

  8. IN A FEW DAYS - AFTER THE "LOUGHNER IS A TEA PARTIER" MEME HAS BEEN UTTERLY DEMOLISHED - THE LEFT WILL DOUBTLESS ARGUE THAT
LOUGHNER'S INSANITY WAS CAUSED BY GLOBAL WARMING.

  9. Surprise, surprise.... The account is only subscribed to Skelton's feed now. Down the memory hole.

I am guessing some staffer went there after Loughner's account was revealed, and was stupid enough to fav it.

    Godspeed Congresswoman Giffords!
