Mexico's 9/11: Cartel Kingpin Says 3,000 Have Died As an Intentional Result of Operation Fast and Furious

We already knew that at least 300 Mexican nationals -- and two U.S. law enforcement officers -- were killed as a result of Eric Holder's insane gun-walking project known as Operation Fast and Furious. But a Mexican drug cartel chieftain says the real number is much higher:

A high-ranking Mexican drug cartel operative currently in U.S. custody is making startling allegations that the failed federal gun-walking operation known as “Fast and Furious” isn’t what you think it is.

It wasn’t about tracking guns, it was about supplying them — all part of an elaborate agreement between the U.S. government and Mexico’s powerful Sinaloa Cartel to take down rival cartels.

The explosive allegations are being made by Jesus Vicente Zambada-Niebla, known as the Sinaloa Cartel’s “logistics coordinator.” He was extradited to the Chicago last year to face federal drug charges... Zambada-Niebla is reportedly a close associate of Sinaloa Cartel kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman and the son of Ismael “Mayo” Zambada-Garcia, both of which remain fugitives, likely because of the deal made with the DEA, federal court documents allege...

"It is estimated that approximately 3,000 people were killed in Mexico as a result of ‘Operation Fast and Furious,’ including law enforcement officers in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico, the headquarters of the Sinaloa cartel. The Department of Justice’s leadership apparently saw this as an ingenious way of combating drug cartel activities.”

I really wonder how many people have to die for vintage media to express outrage at the lawless machinations of the Obama administration. Is it 30,000? 300,000? 3 million? Or 30 million?

Geez, Dougie, you will get in bed with anyone as long as it furthers your obsession with Obama.

Now, you are quoting a known, big-time criminal drug dealer [who, of course, would not have any reason to lie] about a supposedly supersecret ATF operation that he could not possibly know anything about.

    Very pathetic.

  2. Hey, Carlito - Mexico's attorney general is quoted as saying F&F resulted in 200 dead Mexican nationals.

So how many dead do you want before it becomes a scandal?

It is a scandal. And a really stupid ATF operation.

But citing a drug lord with obvious credibility problems as a source of information really doesn't help your cause at all.

    Just makes you look wingnutty.

  4. Dude - With Eric Holder's track record of, uhm, documented lies in front of Congress, I think I'll take the word of the Cartel honcho.
