CHART: The Top 10 Union Fat-Cats Who Destroyed 18,500 Jobs

No Twinkies for you:

These union boss salaries explain how the AFL-CIO–affiliated Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International got so carried away as to bleed Hostess Brands literally to death, throwing 18,500 people out of work and putting an end to the iconic Twinkie:

You can make a nice living as a parasite. On the down side, it only lasts until you have killed off your hosts.

Or, in this case, Hostess.

The AFL-CIO is also in the lead of bankrupting the USPS via cost and pension/benefits:

    USPS unions:

National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) part of the AFL-CIO

National Postal Mail Handlers Union, a division of LIUNA part of the AFL-CIO

American Postal Workers Union (APWU) part of the AFL-CIO

National Rural Letter Carriers Association (NRLCA)

Plus there are probably unions for the maintenance and custodians of the USPS facilites large and small. Unions for the transportation/distribution long haul and short haul of mail. etc....

is it true the gvn't is behind a petition for the gvn't to save the twinky? if so, imo, that would explain why the union pig$ are behind a strike that sent the company to bankruptcy court. have their cake & eat it too so to speak.

  3. It seems to me that the oh-so-inclusive left has overlooked the fact that this list is entirely bereft of women.

Notice the number of women in that list. Minorities too. And they say the GOP is run by a bunch of old white men.

  5. It's amazing how Unions Presidents bemoan the rich capitalists, when they themselves fall into the same category when compared to the average Union worker they claim to "represent".

I've never understood why workers believe that the best way to keep "evil, greedy, self-serving" corporate management in check is to create a management structure of their own: You don't fight fire with fire, you fight it with water ;-)

Speaking of amazing: Here's a photo of the Wonder Bakery Pavilion at the 1930 Worlds Fair in NY...look behind it to see the Union Worker from the USSR's almost-completed exhibit. Woefully ironic!

    Thanks for reading!
