Here's the cover page of the application that lets individuals and families apply to the federal government for subsidized health care coverage.
To give you a sense of how complex the application is, think of doing your taxes and multiply it by the number of people in your household. Here's a sample of one page:
And here's the entire paper application, which weighs in at a hefty 21 pages.
Not to worry: the specifications for the electronic version of the application run a tidy 61 pages.
Obamacare is a complete and utter disaster. How many people will be able to understand -- not to mention actually complete -- this mess?
The entire health care system is coming unraveled and the drones are too stupid to understand that they voted for their own destruction.
I have been reading about Obamacare for days. It is terrible and expensive coverage. It will only be a good deal for people living on the poverty level.
ReplyDeleteIt is nothing except a new tax. I wrote about it...oh yea here...http://thecivillibertarian.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-escape-and-round-up-of-minions.html
When you read the fine print, you will see this is an application to determine your eligibility for and possible subsidies of health insurance, but not an application for a health insurance policy. The given estimate is that they will get back to you in 1-2 weeks with their determination, after which you can then fill out another application to apply for a health insurance policy.
ReplyDelete@Anon 8:48 - that's an excellent point!
ReplyDeleteObama has seriously ruined my business as a Contractor, but with this news I am buying a large boat to take Seniors for their last cruise. My application will be short and simply offer the choice of how they want to die. Strangled in their sleep; strangled during sex; shot in the back of the head while they lean over the railing; hypothermia on deck; swimming with no life preservers; Russian roulette; and musical chairs aft should give us a good start. Of course we'll provide restraints as they go off their meds. This should be more profitable for me and offer more dignity than ZeroCare for these people. I bet it will book fast.
ReplyDeleteAnd who would have thought Robert Blake in "Mice and Men" was our future?
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of sounding heretical, is this necessarily a bad thing? It's LOFO people, by and large, who are gong to be applying for the subsidies. Barry-O's scr*wing his base. Remember what Napoleon said: "Never interfere with your enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself."
