Here are the latest standings of conservative news and opinion sites, which are ordered using their
Alexa traffic rankings. Yes, some of these are center-right, libertarian, or more middle-of-the-road sites, but they are included because they do publish center-right opinion pieces on a regular basis.
Why does the "Top 150" list have 200 entries? The same reason the Big Ten has, like, 48 teams.
Update: Inevitably, some sites are inadvertently omitted from the list (and this is always Biff Spackle's fault). The superb
The People's Cube should be #97 on the list and
The Looking Spoon should be #103.

I'm stunned I've somehow broken into the top 100 of this distinguished company.
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Doug
Very nice to creep into the top 125 by jumping 58 spots. Hopefully we can crack the top 100 in the next round.
ReplyDeleteThanks Doug!
Please consider adding illinoisreview.typepad.com for future rankings. We'd have been #128 if we had been included on this list.
ReplyDeleteJust so you know, thepeoplescube.com was dropped from the list. With a rank of 191,921 should be around 97.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Gerard of americandigest.org for making the top 100, well deserved.
Well, DougRoss@journal is in my Top 5 list, just so you know!
ReplyDeleteTHIS is where Conservative donor money should be going, instead of down the rathole of the coffers of the GOP.
ReplyDeleteNice list, enjoy these websites a great deal. Maybe next time you'll consider adding conservativefiringline.com, which would have come in at about 189 on the list.

ReplyDeleteAngry White Dude is pleased to have jumped into the Top 100. It must be because of my supa-sexiness!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Doug for your great work and this helpful list!

Please Don't forget:
ReplyDelete90 Miles From Tyranny
http://ninetymilesfromtyranny.blogspot.com/
alexa rank: 305247
I'm sure if I had a conservative website I would be really, really high on this list.
ReplyDeleteProbably. I hope.
But it's just so much easier to read the ones on the list.
...which I greatly appreciate.
However I'm curious why mediaite is on the list at all. I get hotair and even the obama-supporting law professor, but mediaite?
And yes, congrats to Vanderleun. I should be a more frequent visitor to his site: real essays that prove it's possible to provide an educated opinion via high-quality prose.
One of my favorites is Chickaboomer.com
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised infowars.com isn't on the list. Would have ranked at #7.
ReplyDeleteVery useful list, though-- highly appreciated.
Thanks for tending to this time-consuming task Doug.
ReplyDeleteOur site would be 149 -- please consider, we are linked to by WND, Free Republic and other sites regularly

Whoa! How'd I make it on here?!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a trap! Some people will do anything to get me blogging again!
Thanks, Doug!
If I had known I would make the WaPo's list of top political state blogs before I saw this, I would have asked you to include my site, monoblogue. Who knows, maybe I did.
ReplyDeleteBut there's a lot of good sites on the list so congratulations to them as well.
World Net Daily should be added. Otherwise thanks for the list.
ReplyDeleteHey - we should be on this list!
ReplyDeleteAmericaisConservative.org
We're climbing up the Alexa rankings and would love to be included in your list. Thanks.
Lisa
Please consider ranking conservativeangle.com in your next ranking, we would be #115 with an Alexa of 336,336. Thank you and nice work!
ReplyDeleteActually, just checked [ConservativeAngle.com], and we are climbing the charts, now at 250,280 Alexa. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteDoug,
ReplyDeleteNot sure why we are not making your list. We have an Alexa Global Rank
520,750 and a
United States rank of 146,877
Thanks
