    Think they stole that from Yahoo. Can't delete them in Yahoo

    Yep. Same with Yahoo mail. At least they're in bold with a dark background. Haven't seen them yep on Gmail.

    Probably a Google+ thing. I've refused the option to upgrade to + and don't see them.
