MIND-BLOWING: 45% of aliens apprehended crossing into the U.S.at the border have criminal records

I finally came across the FY 2013 figures for the removal of illegal aliens and these numbers are mind numbing. If ever there was an argument against tolerating illegal immigration, this is it.

These numbers blow the mantra that “these are good people just trying to make a living” out of the water. It is an absolute falsehood that attempts to hide us from the truth. And, what is the truth?

In FY 2013, ICE removed 368,644 aliens. Of these, 133,551 were caught inside the United States. Eighty-two percent of this group were previously convicted of a crime. In other words, 109,511 aliens with criminal records were loosed upon the citizenry of the United States. If only good, hard working people looking to better themselves crossed our borders illegally, then how is this number even possible?

ICE breaks down the interior criminal deportees even more into Levels 1, 2, and 3. Level 1, refers to those convicted of aggravated felonies. Level 2, describes offenders convicted of other felonies or three or more misdemeanors. Level 3 criminals are those who have committed misdemeanors which are associated with sentences of less than 1 year.

Of the 109,511 criminals caught in the interior of the U.S., 53,000 were Level 1 offenders, 26,000 were labeled Level 2, and 31,000 Level 3.

Take that in. 53,000 were violent criminals: rapists, murderers, sex offenders, and thieves. Then you add in 26,000 who were convicted of non-violent felonies, plus another 31,000 who have been convicted of one or more crimes.

Once again, if a majority of illegal aliens are hard working, honest people, how do you explain these numbers from ICE regarding interior removals?

If you keep looking at the report, it actually gets worse!

In FY 2013, ICE removed some 235,000 aliens that were caught at the border.106,695 or 45% of those apprehended and removed at the border had criminal records. Of these, 21,000 were Level 1 offenders!

So, one might argue about the interior numbers, that maybe ICE is just targeting criminal, criminal aliens (yes, think about that for a moment), but how do you explain the border apprehensions? Almost half of those caught at the border, have criminal histories, of which over 20% have violent convictions. What do these numbers say about the alien population that does make it across the border? Well, certainly, it should put to rest the idea that only hard working, honest people are illegally entering our nation. Instead, our politicians have unleashed a horde of criminals on us. Illegal immigration not only depresses wages, but ruins the quality of life in the United States by allowing unfit and dangerous people in our nation. Amnesty, I fear will just attract more criminals, looking for new opportunities.
