Holder was a known entity, a renowned Clinton hatchet man linked to the FALN Terrorist Pardon Scandal, the Marc Rich Pardon Scandal, and a panoply of other questionable, borderline criminal, and anti-American activities.
So knowing this history, which GOP Senators voted to confirm Holder? Michelle Malkin has often reminded us of the Hall of Shame:
- Alexander (R-TN)
- Bennett (R-UT) - retired
- Bond (R-MO) - retired
- Chambliss (R-Ga)
- Collins (R-ME)
- Corker (R-TN)
- Graham (R-SC)
- Grassley (R-IA)
- Gregg (R-NH) - retired
- Hatch (R-UT)
- Isakson (R-GA)
- Kyl (R-AZ) - retired
- Lugar (R-IN) - retired
- McCain (R-AZ)
- Murkowski (R-AK)
- Sessions (R-AL)
- Snowe (R-ME)
- Specter (R-PA) - deceased
- Voinovich (R-OH) - retired
Cruz has some advice for the next confirmation process that all involved should take to heart:
To ensure that justice is served and that the attorney general is not simply replaced with another extreme partisan who will likewise disregard the law, the Senate should wait until the new Congress is sworn in before confirming the next attorney general.
In other words, no lame-duck skulduggery.
Patriotic Republicans should use every procedural gimmick in the book to prevent the loathsome Harry Reid from further deconstructing the U.S. Senate by ramming through another partisan hack.
Hat tip: BadBlue News.
It's embarrassing to see the two senators from Tennessee in there - grrrrrr......
ReplyDeleteScumbags and GOP: synonyms.
ReplyDeleteJust like the Whig party was put out of existence by the GOP in Lincoln's time, we need to do the same to the GOP, and replace it with the Tea Party. Starve the GOP of money.
Bennett didn't retire voluntarily he was kicked out by the voters!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many also voted to confirm Kagan and Sotomayor? Yeah Senator Graham that was a poke at YOU.
ReplyDeleteThe Bug Head is gone, I expect that we will see him again soon in another high profile position.
ReplyDeleteIf this does not prove to be true I promise that I will shave off my mustache.
