The Washington Post -- in its usual effort to spin the news in favor of the administration -- failed to note that the documents were turned over only after years of litigation, pursuant to a federal judge's ruling against the Holder Justice Department for its patently bogus claim of "Executive Privilege".
Author Matt Bracken, commenting at WaPo's site, torched the Obama press release distribution outlet, and provided an excellent synopsis of the true motivation behind the eminently diabolical plot to eradicate the Second Amendment.
"The operation targeted Mexican gun traffickers, but two rifles involved were linked to the killing of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry."
That is the official MSM Koolaid line, but it's a lie. Under Operation Fast and Furious, there was no attempt to track the guns after they crossed the border. We didn't even inform the Mexican government or law enforcement, or seek their cooperation in tracking the guns, because tracking the guns was not the objective. The objective was to buttress the false meme being promoted by Obama, Holder and Hillary Clinton that "90% of the guns found at Mexican murder scenes came from America." The actual objective, by spreading this lie, was to turn Americans against the 2nd Amendment.
300+ Mexicans and a pair of American agents murdered with F&F guns were the price Obama, Holder and Clinton were willing to pay. Mass murder abroad was the price they were willing to pay for a political objective at home. And what did we hear from American Pravda? Crickets. Operation Fast and Furious was pure evil, mass murder for political purposes, and the MSM was a willing partner.
American Pravda's motto today is "It's not a scandal if we don't report it!" "Look, a squirrel! Celebrities are having scandals! Pay no attention to our own government conducting a mass-murder operation to attain a political objective!" And with the help of the collaborating MSM, it worked.
The Washington Post just spent another week celebrating their Watergate scoops with the passing of Ben Bradley. How many people were murdered in the Watergate scandal? Zero, compared to 300+ Mexicans and at least 2 American federal agents.
And what do we get from the WaPo? Crickets, and an occasional article promoting the absurd cover story for Operation F&F, that it was intended to track the guns in Mexico.
Editor's Note: I recently finished Matt Bracken's outstanding trilogy on Kindle -- "ENEMIES, FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC" -- and I can't recommend it highly enough. Buy it and read it now. Don't worry, I'll wait here.
