OMG!1! THE ULTIMATE #CruzSexScandal WRAPUP THREAD!!1@1!!!!

I think Dan McLaughlin put it best, and I paraphrase, when he asked how bizarre a campaign this has turned out to be when Trump's campaign is pushing a rumor about its spokesperson which she denies?

So Cruz has no control over his superpacs, but Trump is in total control of the National Enquirer. Right. Got it.

  4. wow. did the old ronpaul-bots reincarnate as trump-bots? you could point out that if cruz told that pac to stop and it did then cruz would have violated federal law and unlike Hillary would be indicted, but there's not point. trump-bots don't care about facts or logic.

  5. The substance of this issue isn't the issue. It's that Trump has brought the level of his campaign to a more appropriate 3rd grade level for his supporters to grasp onto. Really folks? We have so much going on and you think this is OK? Schoolyard bully tactics at best, childish behavior at its worst.

Wow, just wow. Ted goes on FOX and shows off his Churchill henna tattoo 4/1/14, Amanda Carpenter tweets a selfie of the same tattoo where it would have been difficult to self apply - on the very same day. EBay, sold in packs of 2 ea. Enquirer now has 3 more names, CNN contributor brother of one confirms. It is so typical of Republicans like Lunarman to suddenly come up with "the substance of this issue isn't the issue". IT IS, VERY MUCH SO. The God of the Evangelicals doesn't like to be used as a prop dummy for serial adulterers. Yes, Trump is as fornicator as well. He just doesn't lie about his life and try to hide under a mantle.

    1. Yawnnn.... Oh the outrage. Btw, I'm not a Republican, but you go on with your bad self. I'm thinking though, just based on your comments, you're yet another Trump idolizer. And how do you expect me to vote come November by trashing anything and everything I may write? I won't vote if he's your nominee.... He hasn't earned my vote on the issues of substance. This is all side show theater; your guy is clearly a carnival barker. He's Zaphod Beeblebrox (Vote for Stupid!) writ large and in real life. Continue on with your half truths and more than half lies and worse - your moral equivalences. And continue on with your comments about what you think I am. Drive me from the voting box with your over the top behavior, with your so very intuitive and brilliant comments!

  7. Trump followers are so dumb they believe Hillary Clinton in a suit with a bad comb-over will make a great president. Trump followers so dumb they think a New York liberal who donated to liberal politicians all his life suddenly became a true conservative late in life. Trump followers so dumb they actually believe all those lies carefully crafted by Trump with his 6th grader level words. Trump followers so dumb I will shut up now, because they can't follow the big words and logic that I use, and they will continue blindly following Der Fuhrer.

  8. I'll be eternally grateful to Donald Trump just for revealing the depth of rot in the Republican party. It's amazing that a "smear" (if that's what it is) from the Rubio camp is somehow Trump's fault! Still waiting for Lyin' Ted to say, "All these allegations are totally false, I've never had sexual relations with any of these women," but I'm sure not holding my breath. He lies so easily, why not that one? And why not denounce the "smear" since his name was on the bottom of that ad?

For a long time I've been mourning the loss of my country. After the fraud occupying the WH was "elected" the second time I knew my country had perished, but I still hoped that somehow it could be resurrected. Looks to me like the last best hope will be dashed by "conservatives" who value their tiny club more than the country that made their little in-group possible.

Before Trump I had left the Republican party; I couldn't stand their lies, their deceit, their promises that never get fulfilled, any more. The only reason I rejoined that crap party was to support and vote for Donald Trump; if he's elected I will remain, as there will be reason to do so, and I will rejoice! If he's driven out- then I'll stay at home and clean my guns, since they'll be needed before long!

  9. Even a low information voter like me has seen enough proof that the Cruz sex scandal was started by a desperate Rubio team back in Feb and early March. Cruz is dishonest to say it is Trump's fault, and his supporters are equally dishonest in parroting the lie.

Kudos to Doug and others who are clearly going down with the Cruz ship. The crap you guys take from Tumpeters, and the spinning you do with the news - amazing. Have you given any thought of how you'll walk all this back if Cruz washes out? Perhaps delete blog posts and comments, and ask Google to do the same?

I have learned so much about Cruz in the past two months that he's gone from a close second in November to someone who can't be trusted around wives and daughters. Texas, WTF?

  10. @Karl, with all due respect, unlike most of the Trump supporters, I have pledged to support DJT in the event he's the nominee.

The Cruz Sex Scandal is about as real as Donald Trump's knowledge of the Constitution.

You see, Cruz supporters know exactly what they're getting with the nominee. OTOH, Trump supporters aren't even allowed to know what Mr. Trump told the New York Times in that secret briefing.

    That's the difference.

That and a candidate that acts like an adult.
