RUH ROH: Trey Gowdy Hints At a Much Bigger Scandal Involving the Clintons and Obama’s DOJ

By Rusty Weiss

We’ve all seen reports on the famous tarmac meeting between former attorney general Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton. It was a meeting between an AG charged with finding the truth on the Hillary Clinton email scandal, and a man married to the main suspect in that scandal.

Shortly after that meeting, Barack Obama’s Department of Justice opted not to pursue charges against Clinton, setting off a stench of collusion between the two parties.

Congressman Trey Gowdy recently claimed it may have been worse.

He defended former FBI Director James Comey’s actions in handling that case, but hinted that it was the only decision he could have made because the Clintons’ “entanglements” with the Department of Justice run much deeper than anyone suspected.

“Jim Comey had access to additional information that I am convinced left him with no other choice but to make the decision he made in July,” Gowdy told Fox News host Martha McCallum.

McCallum and Gowdy then addressed collusion between the Clintons and Obama’s DOJ.

Via the Daily Caller:

McCallum asked if he was implying that Comey was pressured into clearing Clinton of all wrongdoing.

“No…he wanted to safeguard the integrity of the investigation, the integrity of the process, and I probably ought to just leave it right there,” Gowdy replied.

“Trust me when I tell you this, Martha — I know what it was and I have been a critic of James Comey in the past. But he made the only decision he could have made with respect to appropriating that decision away from the Department of Justice and making the decision himself.”

“I only take away from that that you are suggesting that there were more entanglements between the Clintons and perhaps the Justice Department than everyone understands,” McCallum guessed.

“You’re very perceptive,” Gowdy confirmed.

Watch the exchange below …

Gowdy cryptically announced to McCallum that “history will be much kinder to Jim Comey in that July press conference than the Democrats were.”

It is a very interesting assertion which hopefully Gowdy will reveal more about in the future.

Gowdy is a man of words, not action. He hasn't followed through on any other Obama-era criminal offenses. Zip. Zero. Nada.

    Purple tie noted.

Which is why the press seems so tawdry these days.
