128-ft-tall #fearporn not enough! Must be 12-ft-tall #fearporn + 20k troops, more than in Afghanistan & Iraq combined. This is what you have to do to signal to an understandably incredulous citizenry that 75M Americans who voted for incumbent president are now deemed terrorists. https://t.co/1xs4Wfghaz

If you could have stopped Covid-19 in its tracks, knowing Trump would be reelected... or allow Covid-19 to spread, an act assuring Trump's defeat, which would you have chosen?

RE: Wall being built around Washington D.C.'s Capitol Building and the billeting of troops.
ReplyDeletePart of me believes this is overwhelmingly symbolic, even to the point where there will be Liberal rah decals "st0rming" them disguised as Conservatives for effect.
The optics: Stopping the past, which threatened to undermine the country, early on in the inauguration, followed by an uplifting, inspiring finish where our newly -(s)Elected (p)Resident mirrors a Reaganesque moment stating he's going to "tear down walls" stopping the USA from a bright, shiny future is simply TOO good to pass up.
Just saying.
