If you're having trouble reading the note, here's what it says:
Hey there voter!
Do you remember that on Inauguration Day (Jan. 20th) 2009, the national average for a gallon of gasoline was about $1.78? How's that "Hope & Change" working out for you?
Anyone but Obama
Nov. 2012
I would have added: "Can you imagine what another four years of Obama will mean for gas prices?"

ReplyDeleteWe don't have to imagine. He already told us they will necessarily skyrocket.
That reminds me of the time I took a flight out to the San Diego airport and rented a car to drive to Tucson. I was an uneventful trip except for the detour I had to take around a mudslide on the interstate. I stopped for gas shortly thereafter and called the police to report the incident which was difficult since I had nicked my finger the day before and a slight infection had developed. I was considering a visit to the doctor but quickly cancelled that idea. After all, the symptons were slight and I hoped to make a full recovery. So anyway, after calling the police, I noticed a BBQ joint across the street and decided to have lunch. I just love pulled pork barbecue. And the day was lovely, not a cloud in the sky, so I ate my meal at one of their outdoor tables. The seats, unfortunately, were cheap plastic and not very comfortable. Probably made in China, or North Korea. The meal didn't set well with my stomach though. I felt kind of nauseous, like if I had smoked some crappy home grown drugs. Which is weird. I don't even smoke marijuana.

ReplyDeleteYour average idiot conservative loves to stir up the pot with shit like this.
ReplyDeleteAccording to them, gas prices were not only controllable by the president but the current price was the result of his energy policy.
Couldn't possibly be the shutting down of refineries on the east coast, not the massive consumption growth by the worlds two most populous countries, China and India, and not Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, a situation that is conveniently being exacerbated by US conservatives' saber rattling.
"Hey there, idiot! How's that dumbass sticky note bullshit working out for you?"
Fuck tards.
unfortunately, Republicans are ignorant when it comes to the fact that the rise in gas prices isn't linked to our president, but because of:
ReplyDelete1. the sanctions against Iran (because they are making nuclear weapons) so we aren't getting any of their oil any more, and
2. the united states hasn't been into oil refining since the 1980s
So you tell me whose fault it is, voter.
