Reality or 'politics of fear'? Depends on who says it.
Dick Cheney came under fire last week from the Left for his reference to the greatest threat confronting the United States: an extremist group getting their hands on a nuclear weapon and detonating it in one of our cities. Of course, I don't see any similar comments from the Left regarding Clinton SecDef William Cohen's remarks:
..."The greatest nightmare we have to go on is a nuclear bomb going off in one of our major cities," Cohen told the gathering of federal and private-sector information technology executives.
