Trump's call for Ukraine to lower its conscription age is I think, less about stabilizing a front and more about increasing pressure on Zelensky to make a deal - we know what the draft did to our willingness to fight in another lost cause, Vietnam. It will have the same effect on the civilian populace in Ukraine.
