Cruz proposed legislation back in Oct. 2021 called "Stop the Surge of Unsafe Rio Grande Encampments (SURGE) Act" to define 13 new ports of entry for illegal aliens.
Of course this was - and is - nothing more than political theater. Conservatives need to win back the House and Senate first so that proper blame is placed on Dementia Joe.
