That nuclear technology at the Ukranian plant is probably the digital control and indication system.
Westinghouse Nuclear is the world leader in that field. They supply hardware (Common Q) and software (Ovation.) Big upgrade over the older analog wiring and control rooms.
Could be wrong but that's my best guess.
