Thousands of fast-food workers across 150 cities nationwide gathered today to call for a $15-an-hour minimum wage.However, a report released today by James Sherk, senior policy analyst in labor economics at The Heritage Foundation, found that fast-food restaurants would have to boost their prices 38 percent to make up for the increased labor costs.
Such an increase, Sherk said, would drive away about one-third of these restaurants’ customers.
If fast food’s biggest restaurants decide to raise their wages to $15 an hour, here’s how some of your favorite meals would fare.

I've noticed more than a few big name fast food outlets closing in the Seattle area for no apparent reason. The food was fast, hot and of good quality but when I asked the surviving competitor why, I was told "they didn't have enough customers".

$15 an hour for a fast food worker is BULLSHIT! Ya know what I do? I work in a funeral home. I pick up dead bodies and drive them to the medical examiner, and the crematory. I don't make $15 an hour! You want to whine about low pay for burger flipping? Try picking up a guy who has been dead in his house for three weeks in the Arizona heat! Crybaby motherfuckers!
Could be worse. You could work in a rendering plant. The Amish dont even call the dead haul truck for a couple days at least.
