While Trump’s physical safety is assured, character assassins like Tennessee GOP Sen. Bob Corker await. The Senator, who is up for reelection in 2018, has announced with his remarks about President Trump’s 'stability' and competence, that Corker possesses neither.
Sen. Corker, you will recall, single-handedly enabled the Obama administration to enact the Iran Nuclear Deal by surrendering the treaty clause of the U.S. Constitution to Obama.
President-elect Trump must not nominate Corker for secretary of state: “We will go to war over this!” Levin exclaimed.
Iran held military parades across the country to commemorate the start of the 1980 war with Iraq. At the Tehran parade, which was shown on state television, a banner on a military truck read, “If the leaders of the Zionist regime make a mistake then the Islamic Republic will turn Tel Aviv and Haifa to dust.”

Astonishingly, we do not even know how bad the deal is because the Administration has not released all of the information relating to side deals with Iran as they are obligated to do under the terms of Corker-Cardin, the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act that Congress passed and the President signed into law.
Today I sent Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker John Boehner a letter that lays out the legal authority they possess as leaders in both Houses of Congress to actually stop this deal.
If we believe what we say about this deal—that it is a profound threat to our national security, to the survival of our friend and ally the nation of Israel and potentially to the lives of millions of Americans—then we should act like it. No show votes that are destined to lose; instead, the leadership should exercise their legal authority to actually prevent more than $100 billion from going to the Ayatollah Khamenei.
The approach I recommend entails a three-step process, and McConnell and Boehner should seize this opportunity to demonstrate leadership and make it happen.
5. We Don't Know What's in the Deal - While the text of the treaty is online, the devil is in the details. Those details are the agreements between Iran and the IAEA. Iran has demanded that those agreements be kept secret. The #41Traitors are backing a deal whose contents they don't even know. We have to pass it to find out how many nuclear bombs Iran ends up with.

Sheikholeslam’s comments are the latest in a series of threats issued against Israel by Iran since the Islamic Republic signed a nuclear agreement with the P5+1 powers last month.
A video posted on a website linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), titled “Preparation of the complete destruction of Israel by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Islamic Revolution in Iran,” called for Israel’s “erasure from the annals of history,” according to another report in The Times of Israel on Wednesday. The clip depicts an invasion of Jerusalem by an Islamic army that includes Hamas and Hezbollah among its ranks.
The Obama administration’s nuclear agreement is nothing more than a stimulus package for jihad. Billions of dollars will flow into the world’s worst terror-exporting country — a sworn enemy of the United States — and it will soon enough even have (legal) access to international conventional-arms markets. It can continue to export terror and even kill American soldiers without breaching the nuclear agreement.
For twenty three years as a member of the House Foreign Affairs and Senate Foreign Relations Committees, I have had the privilege of dealing with major foreign policy and national security issues. Many of those have been of a momentous nature. This is one of those moments.
In this case a secondary, but important, question is what it means for our great ally -- the State of Israel -- and our other partners in the Gulf.
Unlike President Obama's characterization of those who have raised serious questions about the agreement, or who have opposed it, I did not vote for the war in Iraq, I opposed it, unlike the Vice President and the Secretary of State, who both supported it. My vote against the Iraq war was unpopular at the time, but it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I also don't come to this question as someone, unlike many of my Republican colleagues, who reflexively oppose everything the President proposes. In fact, I have supported President Obama, according to Congressional Quarterly, 98 percent of the time in 2013 and 2014. My dear, late mother would have been happy if I had agreed with her 98 percent of the time -- and I revered her.
On key policies ranging from voting in the Finance Committee and on the Senate Floor for the Affordable Care Act, to Wall Street Reform, to supporting the President's Supreme Court Nominees and defending the Administration’s actions on the Benghazi tragedy, his Pivot to Asia, shepherding the authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF) to stop President Assad's use of chemical weapons, during the time I was Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, to so much more, I have been a reliable supporter of President Obama.
But my support is not – and has not been driven by party loyalty, but rather by principled agreement, not political expediency. When I have disagreed it is also based on principled disagreement.
The issue before the Congress in September is whether to vote to approve or disapprove the agreement struck by the President and our P5+1 partners with Iran. This is one of the most serious national security, nuclear nonproliferation, arms control issues of our time. It is not an issue of supporting or opposing the President. This issue is much greater and graver than that.
Iran is already in violation of the agreement. While their negotiators were busy in Munich Vienna, they were busting arms control sanctions in search of nuclear material and technology.
Corker is the man that let this happen. Corker is the man that set up the deal so Obama could do whatever he wants. Corker is the gutless puke who decided that courage was something he did not possess and allowed US alliances in the Middle East to be held hostage to Iranian threats and ensured that any future war with Iran will be nuclear.
You can see that Corker and McConnell are already using their Obamacare playbook in service of the Iran nuclear deal. They are talking about how tough they are going to be and what they are going to do but, in fact, they will do nothing. They have colluded with Obama to create a deal that CANNOT be unraveled by a future president and it will happen without a majority vote of the Congress.
The U.N. Security Council endorsed the nuclear deal Monday morning. The statists in the U.N. have been given the power to decide the fate of the nuclear deal with no intervention by the American people thanks to the unilateral president and the Corker bill. The Corker bill allows international law to supersede our Congress and our Constitution.
The negotiations of the P5+1 were always a sham because they were always between the U.S. and Iran. China and Russia? Russia wants the U.S. to be harassed by Iran and they want to sell arms to the Iranians. China is already preparing for war against the United States with cyber as the first front. The U.K., France, Germany depend on Russia for their oil.
Lawyers involved in the negotiations and an Iranian reporter who sought asylum in the U.K. claimed that the U.S. acted as Iran’s agents throughout the negotiations.
Yesterday, in the immediate aftermath of the Iran deal announcement, I posted a short comment noting that Iran is responsible for more than 1,000 American military deaths since 9/11. That’s just a number, but for many of us those numbers have names — the names of men we knew. I will never forget the horrible days in March and April 2008, when Iranian-made IEDs periodically closed even the main supply route into our small forward operating base. I’ll never forget the hero flights, standing at attention as brothers carried the still bodies of their fallen comrades to waiting Blackhawk helicopters. And I won’t forget about the people who are even now learning to walk, and eat, and live again — recovering from horrific wounds. Yesterday, I got an angry message from a friend from my Iraq deployment, a man whose vehicle was destroyed by an Iranian-made IED. Some of the blood on Iran’s hands is his own.The American people need to clearly understand what their president has done. He’s granting billions of dollars in sanctions relief to a nation that put bounties on the heads of American soldiers. Iran isn’t ending its war against America. It’s still working — every day — to kill Americans, including the Americans Barack Obama leads as commander-in-chief of our armed forces. There is no honor in this agreement. Moreover, there is no honor in leaving innocent Americans behind — to rot in Iranian prisons — so that President Obama can declare peace in his time. Compared to rewarding killers and turning its back on innocent American prisoners, the Obama administration’s lies about the negotiations are a small thing indeed. After all, dishonorable people do dishonorable things.
Every member of Congress should be made to answer this question: Do you believe in rewarding regimes that place bounties on the heads of American soldiers? If so, then tell the American people. But don’t tell them that this agreement brings peace, because no reasonable definition of the term includes Iran’s deadly, 36-year-long terror campaign against America and its allies.
The Iranian-funded terror organization Hezbollah has begun recruiting children as young as eight to join the Mahdi Scouts, which prepares boys to become armed jihadists when they grow up. The scouts number some 50,000 members ranging in age from 8 to 18 and has branches in areas such as Beirut and south Lebanon, according to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Janubiya (Arabic link).

At this age, the members get into their first military course called ‘combat literacy,’ in which teens recognize the principles knowledge of the weapon, and how to shoot at fixed targets.They then get intensive summer courses, and after two years, these youngsters graduate as experienced fighters in various types of weapons and are ready to get engaged in the bloodiest battles at the orders of the Secretary General of Hezbollah. All this is in preparation for the real battles when they reach adulthood.
