PRO-LIFE WOMEN SOUND THE ALARM: Donald Trump is Unacceptable

Pro-life women leaders from Iowa as well as the heads of national pro-life organizations are speaking out and urging Republican caucus-goers and voters to support anyone but Donald Trump. The following letter will be sent out to pro-life Iowans today.

Dear Iowans,

As pro-life women leaders from Iowa and across the nation, we urge Republican caucus-goers and voters to support anyone but Donald Trump. On the issue of defending unborn children and protecting women from the violence of abortion, Mr. Trump cannot be trusted and there is, thankfully, an abundance of alternative candidates with proven records of pro-life leadership whom pro-life voters can support. We have come to this conclusion after having listened patiently to numerous debates and news reports, but most importantly to Donald Trump’s own words.

The next president will be responsible for as many as four nominations to the Supreme Court.

SPLITTERS HARDEST HIT: Rubio, Bush, and Christie Vie to be the Pro-Amnesty GOPe Candidate

According to Politico, Marco Rubio has a "Chris Christie Problem."

Jeb Bush, sadly, also has a "Chris Christie Problem."

Oh. One other thing. Mr. Rubio -- the youngest and most attractive of the open borders, Chamber of Commerce, GOP establishment posse -- has been forced to reassure his donors that his flagging campaign is still on track.

Here's a helpful hint: it's not.

It takes years to build a strong purpose- and values-driven high commitment, high performance culture. It cannot be done with a simple training program. Every policy and practice has to be evaluated in the context of espoused purpose and values. Culture is, however, very fragile. A few decisions and behaviors by top management or leaders of key businesses or operating units can undermine decades of culture building.

Giving Thanks for the Republican Establishment

Today I give thanks for my family, my friends, my colleagues and our great country, especially those who serve in our military, intelligence, law enforcement and first responder communities to protect us. I give thanks that I was fortunate enough to be born in this wonderful nation, the most magnificent society on the face of the Earth.

Today I also give thanks to the Republican Party, its leaders, and its media. I give thanks to the party's agenda -- in the wake of the Mississippi Senate primary and numerous derogatory remarks -- as it made clear it sought to wage war against us. It is a fact that the Republican establishment seeks to expel conservatives from the party.

Did you drop your Republican registration to express your disgust? Awesome -- you did exactly what the establishment wanted, so you couldn't vote for an insurgent candidate like Donald Trump in your state primary.

For those who doubt the GOPe Splitter Strategy actually exists, please answer me one simple question...

The Beltway Establishment's secretive plan to hand Jeb Bush the GOP nomination (also known as the "GOPe Splitter Strategy") hinged on flooding the zone with establishment candidates.

Friends of mine -- knowledgeable operators in the Republican hemisphere -- have pooh-poohed the idea of such a conspiracy. To which I respond with a single question:

Why are Lindsey Graham, Bobby Jindal, Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, George Pataki (Who? Exactly) and other non-entities still pretending to be in the race?

All six candidates are drawing -- in aggregate -- six percent. How can they afford a campaign under these conditions? Simple, they can't. They're being funded by the GOPe.

Problem is: a very large monkey wrench was thrown into the establishment's machinery.

And things will never be the same.

People Have Been Thrown in Prison for the Kinds of Stuff Carly Fiorina Engaged in as Lucent’s CEO

While Carly Fiorina has unquestionable debate skills, the more I research her background, the more troubled I become. While it's clear that she is -- politically speaking -- somewhere to the left of Jeb Bush on policy, it is her business record that is most alarming.

Let me start with a little history lesson and a company called Lernout & Houspie. Founded in 1987 by two Belgians, L&H went public in 1995 on NASDAQ and operated from U.S. headquarters in Burlington, MA. Specializing in voice recognition software, L&H rode the tech boom to a peak market valuation of $10 billion.

L&H, despite its rise, was dogged by rumors of financial fraud. By early 1999, The Wall Street Journal reported that its earnings had been inflated. A subsequent WSJ investigation led to revelations in August of 2000 that much of the company's value had been achieved by booking imaginary sales through a wide range of accounting gimmicks.

In April 2001, the founders -- Jo Lernout and Pol Hauspie, as well as former CEO Gaston Bastiaens -- were arrested in what was then one of the largest accounting scandals in history.

A Dean at Yale Business School, Jeffrey Sonnenfeld was surprised to hear his name come up not once, but twice, at CNN's GOP debate. Donald Trump noted Fiorina's abysmal track record as a CEO at Lucent and HP, citing Sonnenfeld's authorship, which was not rooted in any political affiliation.

Fiorina's response was to deflect and deny, but Sonnenfeld penned a blistering response today in Politico:

As Fiorina admits, I have been critical of her for over a decade—long before she announced her political aspirations. I have studied her business record, challenged her leadership abilities and have come to agree with the assessment that she was one of the worst technology CEOs in history...

Well, in truth, these are not so much "fun facts" as they are troubling evidence that Carly Fiorina is yet another establishment plant-cum-loser, one of a series employed by the Republican leadership team to diffuse grassroots support of an outside-the-system candidate like Ted Cruz (or, currently, Donald Trump). With Carly's rise in the polls, due to two solid debate performances, it's worth examining her track record to determine whether: (a) could actually win a general election; and (b) she would offer good policy solutions as a commander-in-chief.

The answer on both counts is an obvious "no". Here's why:

SHE SUPPORTS OPEN BORDERS AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

In June of this year, Fiorina stated she is open to legal status for adult illegal immigrants and full citizenship for their children. During her Senate run, she endorsed the California DREAM Act, which grants in-state tuition to illegal immigrants. Furthermore, she recently stated that border walls and fences are not effective at protecting U.S. national sovereignty.

GOP ESTABLISHMENT HARDEST HIT: NBC Confirms Ted Cruz was the Real Winner of the First GOP Debate

Spotted this interesting nugget over at Every Joe, which I hadn't heard from our favorite cable news network (via BadBlue Real-Time News).

Even though Donald Trump claimed victory after the first GOP debate based on internet polls, many experts said to wait until more scientific polling numbers were released to make a definitive judgment. And now we know why. An NBC poll was released and it paints a completely different picture.

In terms of which candidates helped themselves the most, the winners were Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina. Cruz rose from 6% to 13%, while Fiorina climbed from 2% to 8%... Those surveyed pointed to three candidates doing the best work during the debates: Fiorina (20% net score), Marco Rubio (12%) and Cruz (11%).
