RATHER PROBLEMATIC: Rubio Endorsement Puts Trey Gowdy's Radical Open Borders Policies Back in Spotlight

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC)’s endorsement of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) may shine an unwanted spotlight on the South Carolinian’s record of past radical statements on immigration and his aggressive support for donor class policies embraced by Sen. Rubio.

Gowdy’s extreme immigration declarations come in addition to his long-standing support for donor-class Republican lawmakers. For instance, in a closed-door GOP leadership election in November of 2014, Gowdy seconded Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)’s nomination as House Speaker. Similarly, Gowdy was the Congressman who nominated Paul Ryan for Speaker. According to Politico, Boehner “secretly urged Gowdy to run” for House Majority Leader.

PAUL RYAN UNITES THE PARTY: 93 Percent of Republicans Oppose His Amnesty Agenda

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) says he’ll take the job as House Speaker only if particular groups — including the important House Freedom Caucus — concede to a list of significant demands. Ryan is demanding support across the Republican conference and says he wants to be “that unifying candidate.”

However, polling data reveals that a Ryan Speakership would do anything but unite the party.

On two of the issues of immense importance to GOP voters — trade and immigration — polling from the Pew Research Center shows that most GOP voters oppose some of the key ideological stances to which Ryan is devoted. The issues of trade and immigration also take on an especial importance as the Ryan-Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) immigration agenda led to the unseating of former Majority Leader Eric Cantor- which began the leadership shuffle – and the recent Ryan-led Obamatrade push helped bring the base’s criticism of the Boehner leadership team to a fever pitch.

During the 2013 push to pass comprehensive immigration reform, pro-amnesty Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) said that Paul Ryan was working “every day” to further the immigration expansion plan. In 2013, while aggressively stumping for Rubio’s immigration plan, Ryan called for the implementation of open borders immigration policies which would allow for the legal and free movement of foreign labor and foreign goods across national boundaries. Ryan insisted that the U.S. needs an immigration system that has, “gates open to the people who are coming in pursuit of their version of the American dream.”

America, Ryan declared, “is more than our borders.”

‘VOTE FOR PAUL RYAN IS VOTE FOR AMNESTY': Luis Gutierrez Endorses Ryan For Speaker

Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) is endorsing Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) for Speaker of the House of Representatives. Gutierrez, perhaps the most extreme open-borders advocate in Congress, was interviewed on MSNBC.

As CNN is now reporting, “Democratic Rep. Luis Gutierrez on MSNBC called Ryan one of the smartest men in the GOP. ‘He would be good for the country,’ Gutierrez said. ‘He would be good for the Republican Party. Paul Ryan is the kind of individual that would work with people on the other side of the aisle and that’s what we need.'”

Gutierrez has worked tirelessly to expand immigration levels and open America’s borders up to the rest of the world. As Gutierrez once declared, “I have only one loyalty…and that’s to the immigrant community.”

Gutierrez and Paul Ryan have been longtime partners on efforts to open Americans borders. Indeed, Paul Ryan is arguably the most pro-amnesty GOP lawmaker in Congress, and even supports expanding immigration levels beyond many Democrats.

Many amnesty opponents believe that if Ryan had been House Speaker, rather than Rep. John Boehner (R-OH), the Gang of Eight bill would have been sent to President Obama’s desk.

As NumbersUSA’s Director of Government Relations told Breitbart News: “A vote for Paul Ryan is a vote for Gang of Eight style amnesty that includes massive increases in legal immigration and replacing American workers with foreign-born workers. A vote for Paul Ryan is a vote to continue Obama’s transformation of America.”

Sanctuary Cities Represent Naked Crimes against the American people

Thank you for the opportunity to testify on the public safety problems created when local governments adopt policies that obstruct immigration enforcement, commonly known as sanctuary policies. According to ICE records, as of October 2014 there were 276 such jurisdictions in the United States. Over an eight-month period in 2014, more than 8,100 criminal aliens who were the subject of detainers were instead released back to the streets as a result of local non-cooperation policies. Approximately two-thirds of these individuals had a serious criminal history at the time of their release. Nearly 1,900 have subsequently re-offended. Only 28 percent have been re-apprehended by ICE.

Sanctuary policies do nothing to build trust between immigrant communities and local law enforcement. They do not improve access to law enforcement services for immigrants; nor have they been shown to increase the likelihood that more immigrant crime victims will report crimes. On the contrary, they destroy the trust of the community at large that the laws will be faithfully enforced to preserve the quality of life for all.

Despite widespread public outrage at the San Francisco Sheriff’s policies that caused the release of a man with five prior deportations and seven felony convictions, and who was the subject of an ICE detainer, who then went on to kill Kathryn Steinle, it is clear that some jurisdictions will not budge from their criminal alien sanctuary policies. To make matters worse, the Obama administration’s new Priority Enforcement Program (PEP) explicitly allows local jurisdictions to obstruct ICE – and also establishes the entire country as a sanctuary for nearly all illegal aliens by further narrowing enforcement priorities and severely restricting the ability of ICE officers to deport removable aliens, including many with criminal records. Therefore, Congress must step in to correct the situation by a) clarifying in the law that local law enforcement agencies are expected to comply with ICE detainers; b) establishing that local law enforcement agencies will have qualified immunity when cooperating in good faith; c) implementing sanctions for those jurisdictions that continue to refuse to obstruct enforcement; and d) reversing the Obama administration’s non-enforcement policies.

Former Chicago Alderman, and now 11-term Congressman Luis V. Gutierrez (D. 4^th Dist. IL) is described by one news outlet as a “59-year-old Illinois congressman [who] stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, which is only one reason he got his nickname, “El Gallito” — the little fighting rooster.” 

 

 

As immigration chairman for the House Hispanic caucus, Gutierrez is fighting hard for a Presidential Executive Order granting amnesty to as many as 5 million illegal immigrants.

 

 

He says, ““When I see those children, I see my own daughter. I can’t help but see that. I see my nieces and nephews."

 

Gutierrez’s reputation in Chicagoland’s politics is not untarnished.  There’s that sweetheart deal he got from Tony Rezko in the purchase of a condo for his daughter.  There’s the $500,000 plus he paid in taxpayer money over 10 years to a Chicago lobbyist to advise his congressional staff.  And, the 2004 allegation that Gutierrez lobbied Mayor Daley for a residential development owned by a man who loaned Luis $200,000.   The developer was later federally indicted concerning the same development.

 

But forget all that – that’s all in the past. 

 

Today, Gutierrez is firmly ensconced in one of the most gerrymandered congressional districts in America.  You need a GPS to find its boundaries.

OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS: Endangering the Lives of Millions to Achieve a Permanent Majority

With reports that illegal immigrants bring the risk of Ebola and other viral illnesses, Association of American Physicians and Surgeons representative, Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet, has noted that, “Border Patrol sources repeatedly warn that we do not know who is coming across our southern borders, all the countries of origin, what diseases they may carry, or where they go after being released with a summons to appear months later in court.”

An investigation by the Accuracy in Media Center for Investigative Journalism shows that American religious groups, using federal money, are facilitating this growing crisis and trying to keep the media in the dark about the nature of the threat.

Importing Dangerous Diseases

As Dr. Vliet indicated, many illegals are bringing in diseases and parasites. They have been shipped around the country under a veil of secrecy. But word is getting out:

• A Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) facility in Artesia, New Mexico used to house illegals has been locked down following an outbreak of chicken pox.
• A week earlier the same facility found that 89 of its 603 detainees tested positive for tuberculosis, though none had contracted the disease.
• Reported infections among illegals include chicken pox, TB, swine flu, pneumonia, other respiratory illnesses and epidemics of scabies and lice.
• The deadly Chagas disease, formerly limited to Central and South America, is now spreading to the U.S. with an estimated 300,000 cases nationwide. Northern Virginia has been described as “ground zero” for the disease. Its vector, the kissing bug, has been found in Texas, Arizona and California.
• A DHS Office of Inspector General report states that border agents and their families are contracting the diseases and parasites brought in by illegals. A border agent and others in Texas have contracted TB.

On July 31, President Obama revised a Bush-era executive order allowing for apprehension, detention or conditional release of people with severe respiratory diseases. Was this a coincidence?

A leaked copy of an official Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confidential report was published on August 4th by Brandon Darby of Breitbart Texas. DEMOCRAT LUIS GUTIERREZ: Who is the self-proclaimed "Martin Luther King" of Hispanics?

One of the loudest voices on the Democrat side of the aisle lobbying for anarchy as it pertains to immigration law is an Illinois Congressman named Luis Gutierrez.

Gutierrez styles himself a modern-day "Martin Luther King" for Latinos and recently bragged that he is lobbying Barack Obama to violate immigration statutes and grant amnesty to 5 million illegals through "executive action".

Just days ago Gutierrez resorted to the most rabid and vicious forms of race-baiting imaginable, claiming that those Americans who want their laws enforced despise Hispanic children.

Lastly, not only do they treat the children that are in such need of protection, it is almost as though they despise and hate all of our children. Because even the children that came before them that have pledged allegiance to the flag of the United States all of their life in this country, and the president has afforded them an opportunity to become legal. They want them in an illegal situation, an undocumented situation... And let me just suggest to everybody that an election was held in November 2012, after the president made that decision, and the American people thought was a good decision.

Hey, schmuck: the Constitution wasn't up for election in 2012. The law is the law. You in Congress wrote the damn law. The president signed the damn law. It's not up to you, or a president, or any other radical, would-be despot to violate the law without consequences.

You want to change the law: well, go ahead, putz. In the mean time, you swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and the laws of the land, so I'd advise you to start doing so.

RAT: Did Marxist-Racialist Luis Gutierrez Turn Federal Informant After Getting Caught Lying About his Rezko Dealings?

A timely reminder from Newsalert regarding the self-proclaimed "Hispanic Martin Luther King", Luis Gutierrez (D-IL):

Convicted political fixer Tony Rezko gave U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez free upgrades on a riverfront town house after the congressman asked for them, Gutierrez told the FBI, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned.

Gutierrez's comments to federal agents in a previously undisclosed 2008 interview contradict what the congressman told the Sun-Times in 2006 about the purchase.

"I walked in with my wife — as any other consumer could have — and purchased the unit at the listed price, with no considerations," the Northwest Side congressman said then, asserting that he never discussed the deal with Rezko, buying the home through a salesperson at Rezko's company, Rezmar Corp.

He told a different story when questioned by federal agents two years later about the town home he bought in River Walk, a Rezko development along the Chicago River north of Diversey, the Sun-Times has learned.

Gutierrez told them he and his wife had had dinner with Rezko and his wife, sources said, and that he told him that the price of the town home had gone up $35,000 in two weeks — from $399,000 when they first visited a model home to $434,900.

Considering that the price had risen, Gutierrez told Rezko he thought he should get some upgrades, sources said.

The upgrades eventually included an additional bathroom and higher-quality carpeting, the Sun-Times has learned...
