There are reports that some Google users are seeing a spiffy new version of the search engine's results page (a direct link to a screen shot is here). The new page includes a graphical representation of results in each category (image, video, etc.) using simple bar-graphs.
In addition, there are rumors that a major new page-ranking algorithm will be released soon (code-named: "Big Daddy"). Supposedly, the IP addresses 18.104.22.168 and 22.214.171.124 represent gateways to the new algorithm. In a quick test, I did notice a few minor differences in search result order, but nothing dramatic. A more comprehensive test is certainly warranted, however.
