The West's only 5th-Generation fighter plane which replaces the need for four separate aircraft among the branches, has stealth capability, can accomplish during its' intended missions what previously took 10 or so 4th-generation fighters, and has both a mission ready rate that continues to climb and a cost to build and operate that continues to drop?
Yep. Sounds "expensive" to me.
I remember when the V-22 Osprey was being developed...from 1991 to 2000, at exorbitant costs, with four non-combat crashes costing 30 lives, and amid constant claims it would never work, was too expensive, and would at most be an albatross.
And what is it now? Deployed in active service.
Oh, and anyone remember the P-47 Thunderbolt from WWII? Originally designed as a lightweight, fast, and highly-maneuverable fighter in 1939 it morphed into the largest, heaviest, most expensive fighter ever built by any country during WWII when introduced in 1941. And also, it was the most produced fighter aircraft of the war.

Having been overexposed to the Cuomo escapades my end of day interaction involved a beautiful white woman who greeted me outside of her home. I advanced with purposefulness as she greeted me and at those last few feet I moved to embrace her and said "I want to mount you". She demurely replied, "I'd like to be mounted"; a man can't beat a good wife.
Why is the same black EpiPen Doctor hanging around President Joe before he mounted the AF1 stairs?
